House is very centrally located , easy to get to town and blowing rock and all top destinations in area yet it was very private . Sun room and decks are wonderful as is fire pit for smores and family time . Spa is a 2 person which I did not see this detail on description
Well stocked , few issues but owner took care of quickly. Living room furniture couches are a bit uncomfortable just worn but rockers were comfy
Bedrooms and beds very comfortable and bathrooms very clean well kept . All and all we had a great family vacation here and would recommend it and the owners

Clean spacious cabin with plenty of room for a large group. We booked for just my wife and I but could have easily housed 8 more. 3 full spacious baths and 3 good size bedrooms plus a loft. Close to blowing rock, Boone, Banner Elk and Grandfather mountain as well as several restaurants and shopping. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook and serve for a small army. We enjoyed the hot tub and a drink by the fire pit. Large covered porch was nice to sit out and enjoy the cool night air and the enclosed sunroom off one of the bedrooms was perfect for enjoying morning coffee. Overall wonderful stay and will recommend to friends.

We arrived for a nephew's wedding. The cabin was easy to access and was immaculate. There was so much space to hang out in - both inside and outside. We all enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the porch to enjoy the views. It was really a wonderful weekend. Thank you!

Dan,
We have enjoyed a remarkable month at your Lions Den. The location is perfect for all activities in the area and everything worked well in the house. We enjoyed day trips to Linville Falls and Linville Caverns. A drive down the parkway to Cascade falls was beautiful. We enjoyed morning walks at Valle Cruces Community Center and fishing for trout in the Watauga river. Only caught small ones so We went to Grandfather Mountain trout pond to catch our supper. Your gas grill was very convenient and used often. We enjoyed eating at your outdoor table. Morning coffee on your front porch was a ritual as well as evenings spent talking and watching fireflies. The only bad thing is having to leave tomorrow. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home for the month of August. Future guests should me mindful of parking directly under the pine tree. The tree was dripping some sap on the car. I was able to remove it with some rubbing alcohol and going thru a great new car wash in Boone next to the PNC bank on Blowing Rock Road. Also visitors should spend a few hours in the historic district of Blowing Rock and make reservations for dinner at Over Yonder in Valle Crucis and visit Ma's produce store on Hwy 105 toward Grandfather mountain. There is sooo much to see and do plus time to sit back and enjoy the fresh mountain air and cool temps.
PS. Many thanks for arranging for the house to be cleaned after the first two weeks.

The home was beautiful, very clean and well appointed. We loved the covered porch, hot tub and pool table! The beds were very comfortable. This home offered ample parking on site and is in a very convenient area…close to Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Banner Elk, and the wineries. Our host was great, provided complete instructions on our checkin and checkout processes, and was available by text or phone if needed. Highly recommend this property!

Although the elements foiled our plans to enjoy the outdoors, Lions Den provided a wonderful home away from home. An impressive house with all the details taken care of for you. Dan and Sara were a delight to communicate with. Maybe next time we stay we will have better weather luck!

We went for a quick weekend getaway and the cabin was perfect! Cozy, comfortable, and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need, including pantry staple items. We were appreciative that they left several necessities too like hand soap, dish soap, shampoo/conditioner, paper towels, etc.
The house was very clean and the furniture/beds were comfortable! The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely return!

Family vacation
This was a beautiful cabin with many amenities we needed and a great location and so quiet and serene. We have 2 suggestions. One would be to upgrade to better pots and pans everything we cooked stuck to the pans. And second would be to get a little push vacuum so when we want to clean up the crumbs and such on the area rugs we may do so. We would definitely stay again the owners were very prompt in answering any of my questions and I appreciated that.

Doesn't get any better!
We truly enjoyed our stay. We had 7" of snow our first night there and it was absolutely beautiful! The cabin had everything we could possibly need and plenty of room for the adults and kids. The pool table, darts, fire pit and jacuzzi were excellent amenities! It's also just a short drive to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort! We would definitely recommend this beautifil and clean cabin to anyone!

Smokey Mountain Hi
It was everything and more than we hoped for. We are two 75 year old buddies that try to get away once each year just to relax and catch up. We have gone the beach and lakes, but thought we would try the mountains. This was our best trip yet!! Thanks to the awesome Lion's Den cabin and it's many amenities.
Thanks for making it so enjoyable two not so grumpy old men.

Cozy getaway near the town
We had a fun time staying in this cozy cabin for Thanksgiving. It was the perfect size and location for our big family. Not too far from surrounding cities but far enough away you felt secluded enough to enjoy the quiet mountainside. Owners were quick to respond to our needs. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing mountain home!!!
I recently visited Lion’s Den with five of my friends and we had an absolutely amazing! The house was the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a rental property. The location was great in comparison of things to do around town. The porches and hot tub were our favorite part! The billiards room in basement area was so nice and gave us something to do while hanging out at night! All in all, I would definitely recommend this rental to any and everyone looking for a nice and clean mountain house with great views! The owners are extremely nice and very responsive to all inquires or questions. Thanks again for everything!
