About this house rental
his 2/2 lakefront cabin has a living/dining room, full kitchen, satellite TV, Hi-speed internet, and stacked washer/dryer. The large shaded stone patio has a propane grill, a 4 person picnic table and additional seating. As well as a stone swim deck
The living room offers large windows with amazing lake views, a pool table an an 8 person dining table. The dock has deep water and is great for boating, fishing, sunbathing, floating, and swimming.
We are located 20 minutes South of Graham, 90 minutes West of DFW, & 90 minutes East of Abilene.
The kitchen, dining, and living area is an open concept space. The kitchen has a 13 ft island, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, stove, and oven. The living room has a large dining room table that will seat 10, pool/ping pong table, couch and loveseat, and TV with Dish Network & Netflix.
The water is 25 - 30 feet deep off the dock and has bumpers and ties along the side to tie-down a boat. The shoreline off the patio is steep and rocky and is not suitable for small children. There are steps down to the water from the walkway.
We have fed the fish (Catfish & Carp) for many years. They will come to the shore and walkway when you give them pieces of bread or dog food. You will also see a few hummingbirds that migrate to our cabin every year.
Possum Kingdom Lake offers a variety of options for guests to rent boats and personal watercraft or hire a guide for a fishing trip. All of the options can be easily located from the Possum Kingdom Chamber of Commerce website, and we recommend making any reservations prior to your arrival.

The home is so comfortable and easy to stay in. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipped, plenty of dishes; just about anything that you would want. The beds are comfortable and very clean. The fishing was not very good but as they say "a bad day fishing is better than a good day working." Thanks Eric we had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The bathrooms were not very desirable and need some revamping. The main drive to access the property from the main road is not very good. Luckily, we were in a pickup. The remote to the TV had no batteries. We had to go to bait store and get batteries. The dock was nice and enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the back patio and grill. The dock with a slide was fun! The kids loved it and really liked feeding the fish.

This house and view was amazing! Spent most of our time out on the dock or patio. Slide and rope swing big hit. Bunch of fish to feed. Highly recommend this place for a get away. Thank you for letting us stay. Will be going back.

House is well stocked with a great pool/ping pong table in the main room. Kitchen is well stocked & appliances are modern. Outdoor space is very nice with a dock that the kids really enjoyed. Only drawback is the location is off the beaten path & sits on a ranch with an interesting ranch owner on patrol… Relaxing spot if you’re looking to get away from everything! Property manager is great with communication.

This location was great for our family reunion that we have at brother’s house. By boat we were within 1 minute and by drive to Chapel Rd we were less than 20 minutes. This 2 bedroom cabin was great for us and our kids.

Fantastic Property
We had a fantastic time here! Perfect for the teenagers. Their eyes lit up when they saw the pool table. Spent so much time out on the dock and in the water!! We look forward to coming back.

Dock was perfect and had poly bumpers all around it, the location was secluded but plenty around, loved Fox Hollow being so close and yes - feeding the fish was quite nice as everyone has said. Well equipped, had everything we needed to cook meals for five days, and the property manager was always just a text away. We had no issues at all throughout the stay, and we’ll definitely be back. Husband loved the rope swing too :)

If you’re looking for a comfortable 2 bedroom with an open floor plan-this may be the place for you. Our family had an awesome time, thanks again!

Great rustic cabin!
This cabin/house was clean and fairly well equipped. It was in a great location that wasn't as busy as other parts of the lake. The dock is nice and the back porch is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee! We had a couple small issues, but communication with the manager was quick. I would stay here again.

Wonderful weekend
We celebrated our first anniversary with a getaway to PK. Overall we had a great trip and enjoyed the house and it’s location on the lake. We had a little trouble finding the house because the sign with the address had fallen down, but the management company was very responsive and answered my call for help at 9pm. The house is what I would call a typical older lake house that looks like it has been added onto over the years so has its quirks. The beds were comfortable. We loved the dock, the fishing from the house and the pet fish we fed every day. The washing machine had a note saying it wasn’t working when we arrived, although we had been told it was to be replaced earlier that day. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the home appearing to be older (carpets, cabinets, fixtures, a/c window unit with moldy filter).

Great Views of Lake
My wife and I stayed at this small cabin for 4 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin sits about 20 feet from the Lake’s edge. Great views from inside and outside the cabin. We enjoyed playing ping pong in the main room of the cabin. The king bed in the master bedroom is very comfy. The small window unit AC works very well keeping the room nice and cool at night for excellent sleeping. Plus the room gets very dark at night, just the way we like it. We caught 15 nice size crappie off the deck in front of the cabin. So much fun! Highly recommend this cabin. Also, we had dinner at Possum Hollow about 10 minute drive. Nice setting and good food.

Myself and the wife stayed here for a week at the end of April, two of our kids joined us for a couple of the days as well (ages 19 & 22). The house was perfect for what we needed. The nice large open family/kitchen area were very nice. The bedroom/bathroom setup was a bit awkward, but how much time do you spend in those anyway?
Proximity to the water was very nice, the dock was great, fishing was very good. We caught some large catfish, some smaller bass, crappie, drum, perch, and very large carp. The carp you can actually feed off the bank which was a lot of fun, catfish join as well at times. We did not fish for these as they seemed more like pets. But off the dock and along the bridge there were plenty of other fish to fish for. My son is a Bass only fisherman, he was a bit disappointed as he only caught one small bass.
As far as the kitchen/etc. - everything you "need" is here as far as appliances/etc... There is not much in the way of staples or food in the house. I don't know that there should be, this is only our second VRBO stay. The first place we were at, had a lot of food and all the staples you could need. I guess this just varies from place to place, but this was different which meant the need to stock up on some things. (ketchup, mustard, sauces, salt/pepper, baggies, oil, Tupperware, soap, shampoo, etc..TP, paper towels and trash-bags were at the house.) Nothing wrong, just good to be prepared and know what you are getting.
The weather did not cooperate with us for half of the trip. We made good use of the pool/ping pong table. This proved to be very valuable as it rained for the better part of 3/4 days.
Getting to the house was a bit tricky, which i enjoyed very much. I like remote. Kids had a harder time getting out there, and after the rain it did make for an interesting drive back to the main road.
Overall, we enjoyed the trip very much. I would definitely go back and would very much recommend going to others.

The fishing was not as good this time, but that’s how fishing goes. We only caught three crappie but they were really good size. I also caught a small bass. We had a great time. The ping pong table was fun and it’s so pretty just to look at the stars or sit on the patio and enjoy the lake. Of course, feeding the fish was a highlight. It’s also nice that the beds are so comfortable. Most places put cheap mattresses in but not this place. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Getaway
If you like peace and quiet the West Lake area of Possum Kingdom lake is the place to be. The view across the lake is the uninhabited portion of the State Park. Perfect.

Perfect weekend getaway
My mom, my sister and I stayed the weekend at this beautiful lake house. We loved the dock for swimming and fishing & feeding the carp was so much fun. The house was cool and comfortable and the pool table was a great way to spend the hottest part of the day. The cabinet stocked with everything you will need and more. Thanks for a great stay.
