full of character and a charming courtyard garden.
The Fourposter bed looked great but wasn’t very comfortable for two adults.

Really lovely, interesting property. Communication with owner was clear, friendly and responsive. Really clean with comfy beds and lovely furnishings, it was fun having the piano there. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again or recommend to others

The chapel was lovely and had everything I needed. I wish I'd had more time there!
Nothing I didn't really like. Everything was fine!

nothing really other than the bathroom being a little cooler than the rest of the property.

Location was perfect

Good range of appliances. Piano. Power of shower. Large bath. 4 poster bed. Having 3 bedrooms. Location.
Bedrooms need mirrors (dressing table & full length) with light & sockets nearby for hair dryer & make up.
9.0
An ideal, quiet country location!
Facilities we’re exceptional (fully equipped kitchen, bed linen and towels) all provided, even hand soap and dishwasher tablets! wanted and needed for nothing other than food.
Owner was incredibly helpful before and during the stay and the perfect balance of helpful/approachable without being disruptive.
The sisal flooring (we are a carpet-fitter family)!

Charming, quirky and spacious

Liked the Chapel it was quirky. Bed was comfortable. Liked the log burner it felt homely. Loved the piano not that anyone of us could play it.. Enjoyed our stay.
The kitchen chairs were very uncomfortable and some were wobbly. Seating not great in lounge that wasnt very comfortable either..maybe ok for a couple but for a family it felt not enough comfortable seating
6.0
we liked the location good walk for the dog quiet
could do with more information ie restaurant's take aways, local attractions gp, hospital etc.
10.0
The atmosphere of the house, the furniture, the piano! And the small courtyard
The kitchen equipment is a bit scarce. Would be nice to have some more plates, bowls etc. so we should not need to wash up so often.

Lovely, beautiful accommodation in idyllic surrounding. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful countryside walks nearby. Handy for driving to the coast. Well kitted out kitchen and cute patio outside. Had everything we needed.
Mattress in small bedroom could do with a revamp. Other rooms very comfortable.

The location was ideal for the Jurassic coast of Lyme Regis and Beer etc. The accommodation and was only a few miles off the M5. The village pub served good food and drink.

The space and overall communication with owner fantastic, really helpful and accommodating
Parking quite tight for two large cars
7.0
Sympathetic and comfortable conversion in which to spend a few days.
Freezer iced up, almost unusable.
Gave up looking for the 2nd Bathroom and garden, both mentioned in the advertising!
Lack of external ventilation opportunities in the the upper rooms.
Smallest bedroom not suitable for an adult.

It would be a bonus if the kitchen chairs were replaced. The metal framed chairs do not invite comfort. The seating area in The main room is just about satisfactory. For the older person it offers no real comfort. A new settee and an additional arm chair would make the area a lot more comfortable and attractive.
If you have two cars, this destination is definitely not user friendly. Especially if one has an SUV.
The third bedroom which I occupied the wardrobe had no support to take hangers for close etc.,
No waste bin. Why the clock in the corner which. question why is it there?

Had everything that was needed for a relaxing stopover before continuing our 200 mile journey. Amazingly comfy bed, and peaceful . The log burner is a lovely touch to sit infront of with a glass of wine in the evening. The books and selection of games is a nice addition .Very clean and Excellent communications from the owners.
I would take slippers with me next time as the hessian carpet is abit rough under foot in a morning

Stephen, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful and considerate. The location of the Chapel allowed easy access via road for all our day trips e.g Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer, Montacute. The Chapel had all the facilities we required for a pleasant stay, indeed one night we had a delivery curry from Chard. The little courtyard provided a pleasant and shaded spot to have our evening meal (weather allowing!). On nights out we ate at the Cotley Inn and The Candlelight Inn both nearby and excellent. Although there is a road either side of the Chapel it was very quiet at night.
It seems a little churlish to pick on a few of things that could be improved upon when our overall experience was very good , however one of the kitchen chairs had an uneven seat which made sitting on it uncomfortable, one rug in particular was ripped in several places making the sitting room look a bit tatty, and lastly it was a bit tricky covering the round window in the main bedroom with the bespoke 'blind' we both had to stand on a chair to hook it over.
7.0
The property looked great from the outside and had plenty of room for 4 people inside with 2 double beds and a single bed. The kitchen was OK
The rugs in the lounge were worn and thread bare. The furniture in the lounge was uncomfortable and needed to be replaced as it was broken and had been glued together.
8.0
The property was a sensitive conversion from the chapel retaining its character. It had a nice little sunny courtyard to sit out in and was comfortable inside
We didn’t dislike anything but a bread knife would have been useful and mirrors in the bedrooms
10.0
Such a charming and unusual place to stay
The bed in the main bedroom could do with being changed for a larger bed (plenty of room for it) with a more comfortable mattress
