About this house rental
Renovated spacious home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and tons of room to spread out. The home sits on over 1.5 acres where you are on 180' of waterfront. The kitchen is well equipped for the cook, there are books and movies for rainy days, covered porch to sit and enjoy morning coffee, patio that extends the length of the home to enjoy a bbq or have a small fire in the breeo stove, a boat house with Adirondack chairs to enjoy to sunset and a dock to fish off or tie a boat to.
The home is located in the Finger Lakes wine country and has easy access to downtown Auburn only 4 miles away for restaurants and shopping. Only 1.5 miles away from Emerson Park and a public boat launch, and 6 miles from downtown Skaneateles for more restaurants and entertainment . There is also tons of hiking and biking trails less than 30 min away. Being on the East side of the lake you can always stay on the property and enjoy some amazing sunsets.

What a great place to visit! Clear communication in advance and easy to find, we were greeted by the friendly host who provided some helpful advice about the area. This house is beautiful, so clean and well appointed (with lovely cool AC) that you'd be happy to never go out - the kitchen is perfect, with all new appliances and tools/utensils, the living room is classy and cool with awesome views and nice bookshelves. The TV nook is super cozy for movie nights. The bedrooms are comfortable and peaceful. We rented a boat for a day and brought it to "our" dock to come and go as we pleased, and we used the home's kayaks also, great to have those amenities at hand. The patio - awesome for breakfast with a view, nice patio table for dinners and then the firepit. We enjoyed the area too, of course, local beer and wineries, nice restaurants and cool towns.

I’ve stayed here twice. It’s by far the nicest house I’ve rented on Owasco Lake. It’s clean, comfortable, well appointed, well furnished and well managed. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

This was probably the best rental I have ever stayed at. The location was great and the whole house and property, including the porch, patio, landscaping and lawn were beautiful. The house was so comfortable with everything we needed but not cluttered at all. The kitchen was stocked with seemingly new items as well as linens. Communication was responsive, friendly and helpful!

This place tops the list of all the rentals we've ever experienced!! Great location on quiet Owasco Lake, but easy and scenic drives to other Finger Lakes. The house is super comfortable, and we slept like babies in the upstairs bedrooms. We were able to park right outside the kitchen door, making loading a breeze. Saw beautiful sunsets every evening, and even had a chance to kayak around the lake. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!!

The house is absolutely as beautiful as pictured but no camera can capture the fabulous lake view! What a wonderful week spent here, each day started with coffee and watching the woodland wildlife scampering at the edge of the lake. The firepit on the patio was such a nice way to top off the evening after enjoying a glass of wine on the dock. Would definitely return and reccomend to others.

A five star review isn't enough...it is deserving of so much more! We were 2 couples celebrating each of our 25th wedding anniversaries and we picked the right place to make it extra special! This house/property/view/vacation absolutely beat our expectations! The host is a dream to work with and is quick to respond to all communications which was very much appreciated. Be prepared to have your breath taken away at first glance coming down the driveway then once again inside the house. You are greeted by a remarkably clean kitchen that sparkles and shines that leads into a warm and comfortable space with an incredibly peaceful view. There is ample places to sit, relax, eat, play and enjoy the surroundings. The covered porch, the beautiful new patio, the boat house, the yard, the dock, the kitchen island, the kitchen table, the living/family room provided us with peace, tranquility, fun and extraordinary memories that we will forever cherish. We used the kayaks and swam in the lake...easy access for both of these things. I have said a lot and can say so much more! We look forward to returning to this paradise to relive and make more memories!

This house is gorgeous and is exactly what you wish for when you're looking for a Lake house. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay.
Everything in the house feels brand new. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and it was great we could use the gas grill.
4 kayaks. Comfortable beds. Various outdoor seating options. What's not to love?

From the moment we entered the property we were amazed at how clean and superbly equipped it was.
The lake view is beautiful from several levels with lots of seating inside and out.
We loved waking up each morning in the very comfortable bed and seeing the sparkling lake below.
We enjoyed our peaceful 5 days at this amazing home and would highly recommend a stay for small or large groups.

Hard to beat this rental on Owasco Lake. The pictures are accurate, and actually don’t totally do it justice. The home itself is clean, cozy, and well-stocked with all the essentials for a lake trip. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen has everything necessary to cook three meals per day.
This is a very nice part of the lake without weeds. We spent a lot of time down on the dock and swimming / fishing in the water.
Best part of the home is the huge patio with fire pit. There is a somewhat steep hill to get down to the lake, so it was nice to have this area to relax especially for the older family members.
Loved this place and highly recommend!

My two children, age 14 and 15 and my elderly
Father were looking for a quick getaway after my mother recently passed away. My father has Parkinson’s and gets around with a walker. This house was the PERFECT answer.
We are from Syracuse and usually go to Skaneateles but Owasco is our new favorite lake. We also stay in VRBOs all of the time and this is by far the most well equipped house we have stayed in. Everything you could ever need or want in terms of cooking and cleaning is available. The house and the property are beautiful! Two areas with fire pits, plentiful outside seating, beautiful lake views with a beautiful boat house with deck to watch the sunsets. The beds were all comfortable and the bathrooms all remodeled beautifully. The owners and family were extremely prompt in responses but we rarely needed them. The last thing I’ll say is I am pretty high maintenance so the fact that I didn’t have one complaint/feedback tells you something! :) We will definitely be back!!!

Our family enjoyed our second year staying at this beautiful home. It is exactly as listed on vrbo. The pictures tell it all. A few things we like are - the mattresses are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the water front is walk’in for little ones. The location is very Convenient to Wegmans, Emerson Park, Fillmore Glen State Park, Skaneateles’ shops and restaurants. The surrounding country roads are perfect for cycling and runs too.

We absolutely loved this lakefront home! We had the best stay, and cannot wait to use it again in the future. The home was very clean and well equipped with anything and everything you may need. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with lots of furniture and fire pits. We contacted the host once regarding how to work the TV and within minutes we had an answer- fabulous communication! The property is gorgeous, with easy access to the lake! All around a perfect vacation home!

The house is a beautiful home. Had everything we needed and more to cook great meals. Was perfect for our family to spend a week on the lake. The yard is great for our little ones to run. Having the dock so close by was great to access our boat, for fishing and the boys to skip rocks. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful to watch. Perfect location and home for our family getaway. Our family recently stayed at this property and we had a wonderful experience. The home, recently renovated, is remarkably well-appointed and comfortable - great living room environment, fabulous kitchen, great bathrooms. Simply put, the house was spectacular. There ae a pair of porch areas; one of them included a table for outdoor dining and a fire-pit. At the lake shore, there is a dock which youngsters can use to run and jump into the lake (which was clean and clear); depth at the end of the dock, we would guess, was about 4-4.5 feet. Also provided were 4 kayaks. Finally, the sunsets were spectacular. As highlighted by other reviews, this is a really great property! Highly recommended, without reservation.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lake house! The furnishings and amenities in the house were top notch; from the stainless appliances, Fiesta dishes (my favorite), everything you would need in a kitchen, comfortable seating area and nice big windows. The patio behind the house was beautiful! It had plenty of quality seating and was the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the lake. We enjoyed the Breeo smokeless fire pit so much we already purchased one for our house. We enjoyed using the two larger kayaks ( the smaller ones were too taxing for our athletic ability). Our only wish is that the home had a 4th bedroom.

Our Getaway
We recently stayed here and it was perfect. We loved the patio area and the firepit clode to the house. We definitely got a workout in walking back and forth between the lake and the house. We couldn't have been happier with this house.

The property and home was outstanding . We have rented on Skaneateles Lake, Otisco Lake and last year on Owasco at a different property. This rental was by far our best experience. Having great weather was a huge plus too. The water Front was perfect for the young ones with beach access to shallow water. Adults enjoyed the dock and kayaks. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen gourmet level and the outdoor patio and covered porch amazing! We discovered an epic playground at the firehouse with sprinkler pad, climbing wall and other fun features a quick 10 minutes from rental. We already booked for next year!

Beautiful Lake House
We had a great stay at the lake house on Owasco Lake. The property is accurately depicted in photos, and other reviews on this site are credible. It was easy to communicate with the owner and property manager, they were kind and quick to respond. One aspect of the property we also enjoyed in addition to ones mentioned in other reviews was the wide selection of reading materials on the book shelves. It was like having a mini public library at our disposal for the week!

Highly recommend this amazing property
This was our 2nd visit to this amazing and pristine lakefront property. We love it!!! The interior is impeccable...super comfortable, beautifully decorated and with every amenity you could imagine. The boathouse is a perfect spot to sip your morning tea or enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. We enjoyed biking and hiking nearby. Took advantage of the new ocean (open) kayaks, and this time got to the memorable Harriet Tubman house/museum. Nearby Skaneateles was lovely, and the farm stands are a treat. Hosts were great. Even went to the trouble of dropping off a bike pump for us.

Great House, Great Views
This place is a gem. It’s located on the east side of Owasco Lake, about a mile and a half from the northern end, and is easy to find. There was plenty of room for two cars, including a mid-size SUV. One space is right by the front door.
The interior is spacious: three bedrooms and two baths, a living room, a big kitchen, and a laundry room. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and utensils. The living room looks out over the lake, and also opens onto a large porch. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset.
The back yard slopes down to the lake shore, where there is a dock, and a boathouse with another porch. There were four kayaks available for our use.
If needed, grocery stores and other shops (including an ice cream stand) are within a short drive, and there are many cultural and recreational opportunities in the Owasco/Auburn area.
The owners could not have been more accommodating. They responded quickly to our questions, and even mailed us a couple of clothing items we left behind.
In short, you can’t go wrong with this property.

This property is just beautiful. We enjoyed the private dock and boat house to sit in morning and enjoy the view. Short drive to the other lakes. My family did not want to leave. Will definitely book again.

Our favorite house at Owasco Lake
We loved staying at this house . We had a great time. Beautiful house with everything you need. Beautifully newly renovated . The kitchen was a dream with a magnificent living room and den. The bedrooms were a nice size. All pretty decorated. The lake was awesome and there was a porch and a boat house to sit with your coffee or wine and enjoy the scenery . Great location and very close to Skaneateles. Lots of things to see and do We loved the house so much that we already booked for next year.

Wonderful Lake House
We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The house was beautiful and very clean (very important to me). We went kayaking, hiking, visited a winery and could unwind and relax here. The telescope was fun for the kids to look through. Lots of great books and movies available for use too. The kitchen was well stocked and designed to meet all of our cooking needs. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

We had a blast at the lake house. We spent most of our time outside, down by the dock and in the yard right off the lake. We were really impressed by the layout of the house and the amenities available. We would rent again in the future if we come back to visit family in Auburn again.

Beautifully appointed home on the lake- Loved it!.
The perfect location to spend an extended Memorial Day weekend. From the beautiful home, idyllic location on the lake for fishing and proximity to scenic hiking and golf we loved every minute of our stay. Proximity to Auburn and adjacent lakes provide many options for dining and great local ice cream. My husband and I traveled with our 18 year old son and two of his friends...we were all bummed to leave.
