Comfortable
Spoke to someone on the site who got 5 nights for the price of my 2 nights. This included passes for the swimming pool and entertainment. My host tried to get me to pay £10 extra per person per day for the swimming pool and entertainment

Really well located. Owner very helpful when contacted and good outside private space.

We did have breakfast but we did have an evening meal and that was very nice
The larger play area needs attention, there were swing’s missing and no slide just the poles

Bad comfortable and a lot of space , all necessary kitchen equipment included, comfortable kitchen
Not network bad reception and Wifi also not available, not clean , the smell of the towels was unpleasant , very close to other caravans , no privacy.

The location was great for the wedding we attended down the road and for a trip to the beach during the day. The caravan site looked really nice, although we had no time to explore. The owner was really helpful at getting back to me and giving me information. The caravan was spacious and very comfortable.
Parking was a bit tricky, it was annoying not having a space right outside, although it was bank Holiday weekend so I'm sure it was really busy.

I was impressed by the comfort of the caravan
the bbq thing was not well-maintained and rusty.

The caravan was very clean and very well equip. It was easy to find and in a perfect location. It was very roomy and not cramped like other caravans I have stayed in.
Great communication with the owner and had all the information needed prior to arrival.
Would highly recommend.

It was a good base, lovely chance to catch up with friend. Staff in resturant/bar were friendly and helpful.
Curtains in the bedrooms were light and there was lots of talking and dogs barking outside our mobile home so the children woke early.
The swimming pool is small and there is limited availability, the children enjoyed swimming but we're disappointed that we only had an hour session and that included getting changed and into the pool and they were asked to get out at 20 to so they were dry and out of the building by 12.

We had a great stay- the caravan was really clean and comfortable and the owner was always there to answer any questions we had and was really helpful! The main bedroom was much bigger than expected too and everything we needed was there. The pool in the caravan park was great too and offered an adults only swim session at certain times of the day.

Very close to the amenities and the park for the children. Lovely patio area and BBQ to the back of the caravan

Relaxed and close to town
Opening hours of shop and pool

The park itself was beautiful. The lake in the middle was lovely and the ducks were friendly. Dog field was an added bonus which we didn't expect. Surrounding towns were interesting to look around too. Caravan was comfortable and had everything that we needed.
The swimming pool was pretty small. It was nice that there was a seating are for those who didn't want to get in but still wanted to watch their family swim, but apart from splashing, there wasn't much else for them to do. Take pool toys!!

We were amazed to see the set up, the size of the master bed room was more than we expected. Very clean, there were extra bed sheets and duvet exactly like a good hotel and the kitchen had everything one would need in a mini vacation. And the location of the caravan was fantastic
Nothing to dislike

Our lodge had plenty of room, was clean, nicely furnished, tea/ coffee etc and towels provided. Also, extra effort had been made to make the lodge look attractive - rose petal decorations etc.

Central heating system was very effective.
Nothing else.
My family used to have a mobile home on this site when I was a kid, this short trip was a nostalgic return with my kids. How it has changed for the worse over 30 years? The picture of the site around the lake is very attractive for sure, and it is in reality, but the rest of the site is nothing like that. Caravans boxed in to every spare inch - gone are the days of open grassy areas!! Other than that way-of-the world reality check:
- Bed mattresses were shockingly bad quality and uncomfortable. Could feel the springs through all and just simply and utterly terrible. Amazing to think how anyone can make something so bad. A piece of foam woudl be better - or the floor.
- The double mattress (150?) was overhanging a too small frame (135?) .!?! That is just poor and clearly not an unfortunate oversight.
- Caravan not properly cleaned (and we are in Covid times) - used tissue under one of the single beds, half drunk bottles of drink left in fridge!?!
- TV would only get a couple of channels as the TV aerial was covered by a grown tree - again, not an unfortunate oversight/one off as clearly been there a while....
We did not complain at the time, as no point nor willingness and only there for one night. None of the above could be fixed anyway and we didnt want to have to repack and then move, nor debate with customer services (if we could have found them) who if really cared or would have done anything about it, would have done so beforehand.
We spent the previous 2 nights in a Featherdown tent in Battle which was absolutely fantastic - even with fairly rubbish October weather!

Close to Hastings. The caravan was nice, clean and comfortable. Nice area.
Not in your control, but the park would be so much nicer with far fewer caravans, it must have been a beautiful park once.
Could get a few more chairs and another cooking pot.
