With meticulous attention to detail combining traditional style with contemporary, Church Manor offers the perfect luxury getaway in the heart of Yorkshire. The arched front door opens into a stone flagged hallway, opening up into a fabulous kitchen, with stylish shaker-style units, granite worktops, large island and an electric range. Open plan with a large dining space, this is a great room for entertaining. Double doors lead into the spacious living room, complete with contemporary multi-fuel burner and a 50" Smart TV. Arched church windows bring in the views across the Yorkshire Dales in all the downstairs spaces, and glass flooring in the upstairs window recesses allow the light to flood in. To the rear of the hallway is a small snug which can be used as an office or games room.

Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, each with sumptuous carpets and comfortable beds. The master bedroom is kingsize with crisp white bedding dressed for your comfort and ensuring a good nights sleep, complete with overhead beams, mood lighting, arched windows, USB sockets and 32" Smart TV. A beautiful en-suite with large walk-in rainforest style shower and blue tooth vanity mirror completes this spectacular master bedroom. The second and third bedrooms both offer zip and link super kingsize beds, Smart TV’s and USB sockets. A terrace runs along the front of the church providing a fabulous viewpoint to rest weary limbs at the end of the day, looking out across the Dales from the wooden benches.

With an abundance of walking routes on the moors nearby and situated on the Dales Cycle Route, Carlton is a popular spot for the outdoor enthusiast. There are several beautiful walks within easy access from Church Manor, and the stunning countryside of Coverdale, Wharfedale and Wensleydale ready for you to explore. At the end of the day the village pub is a gentle 2-minute stroll and a welcoming meeting place for locals and visitors alike, offering local ales and good pub food. If you’re a bit of a foodie there are several more excellent eateries in the area including the award winning bistro in West Witton. There are plenty of attractions to explore including the Forbidden Corner at Midddleham, Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle, and the market towns of Leyburn and Hawes are just a short drive away. Both with a varied selection of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants and interesting shops and galleries. Shop 6 miles. pub 100 yards and restaurant 3 miles.

Two wonderful weeks in a very well appointed, spacious, modern and ideally located in a quiet rural setting, converted church. Panoramic views of the magnificent dales and steps from a fabulous and friendly gastro pub. Andrew was a welcoming and attentive host. Highly recommend.
