As a family of mums sisters aunts and nieces we have 2 weekend breaks together each year. This is our favourite destination so far. Perfect for peace nature and walks! The accommodation was stunning in every way and provided great facilities for self catering!

Not only is it a very attractive period property, it is very warm, very well kitted out with plenty of comfortable furniture and extremely well equipped. Great walks from the door and super welcoming pub down the road with limited choice but excellent food. We also had Easter Sunday lunch in the Blue Lion in East Witton which was excellent. If it is chilly weather and you fancy lighting the wood burning stove, do take plenty of wood as it needed loads to get any heat out of it. We loved seeing the bunnies on the lawn and the sound of the bird nightlife. We also charged our car from the outdoor socket that was enough to keep us going all week. Happy to pay extra for this. I would definitely go again.

This is our second visit to this lovely property and certainly won't be our last! A very enjoyable stay in a top class house in what is a lovely part of Yorkshire. Our host, Donna, was extremely good in all communications, and the house had everything we needed as a family. Lots of great walks and a cracking pub just down the road.
