The location was awesome - waterfront quiet neighborhood, close to Langley. The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need and was charmingly decorated. Our only challenge was spacing out our water usage. Despite our very best efforts the septic alarm went off repeatedly. We’d return in a heartbeat anyway though. The sunsets were to die for as was the beach!

The home and location were perfect for a relaxing vacation. Coffee on the deck was had, books were read, and memories were created. Wonderful place.

We've been back to this house 4x now...and in every season it is a delight. Warm weather means picnic on the beach, stormy rainy weather means a fire and a front row seat to beautiful crashing waves. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to make a family meal, and the cozy living room is a perfect place to end the day and watch the sun set. We'll be back again!

Comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We had a group from 2 to 92 and all had a good time. Beach was great for walking and sand play. Stairs inside are a little steep and the steps to the beach are pilings so a little challenging for some. We would book again!

Location (close to Langley fun spots, grocery, restaurants, shopping & parks), beach front, deck, lots of sleep accommodations/choices, very comfortable and clean, cute kitchen and great relaxing spaces (dining & living room)! We would love to come back.

This is an older home that is so cozy you won’t want to leave. We didn’t! The location is out of this world. Tiny quiet neighborhood with a private beach. We saw a pod of orcas, seals and so many cool birds. Beach combing for hours and the house has everything you need. We will be back. ONLY drawback is the stairs are extremely steep inside the house. Just be careful! Also bring your own coffee!

The place feels like home. The views are amazing and memories were made. Easy to get too with everything that you need for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. Huge points for being dog friendly!!! Can't wait to book again. This is our second stay here.

Great location right on the beach. It was so relaxing. House was we'll equipped, enough room for our family of 5 adults, an active 5 year old and one happy dog. Would definitely recommend this beach house and will be going back.

This is an older house/cabin and not fancy but it’s comfortable and has an amazing location right on a private beach. There were only two coffee filters and no coffee so plan accordingly. The automatic door lock was temperamental - maybe the battery is low? Overall very good and a great value.

This older beach house has all the charm you'd expect. Uniquely decorated, including 70s & 80s vintage home recipes. It's easy to relax with the sound of a wave lapping on the shore just outside the back door.

We all loved the updated charm of this older, waterfront house. It was perfect for each adult to have her own room while still having a cozy little house. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. I’ll keep it in mind for future visits for sure!

House and view was great but being on a septic system with 8 adults does not work. Would have liked more info on do's and don't's ...like can't run dishwasher and use a water at same time. or can;t do more than 2 showers a day. Septic system alarm went off for maintainence twice and in the end had to leave early because of smell and told to limit water

This home has a beautiful view and is on a wonderful beach. There is a lot of beds available for everyone. The property could use a little maintenance but none of it was a deal breaker. The BBQ didn’t work properly and the gas fire pit didn’t work at all. I sent a message about the bbq prior to our stay (saw in a review that it wasn’t working right), and didn’t hear back until a couple days into our stay and the response was just the vacasa website and number.

This is a great spot on the water with an amazing view. Very clean and has all the things we needed for a memorable weekend. While we did get some heavy rain the metal roof and sound of the rain made our stay extremely cozy. Only issue for us that could have been a bit better was the salt water obviously has taken a toll on the BBQ and the propane fire pit. BBQ burners barely worked and while the fire pit had multiple bottles available the on/off dial was completely broken. Regardless, great time and want to come back soon!

This place has a nice location on the beach. It's a bit far from town, so that's a bit of a hassle. The worst thing about his place is that the front door is very temperamental. You have to jiggle the knob to get both in and out. I was stuck in the house for 20 minutes one night because I couldn't get the door open. Another time, because the knob is so close to the jamb, I pushed hard and sliced open my thumb. This really needs to be fixed. Unfortunately, there's no fence, so dogs can't run freely. Overall, I felt the place was overpriced for what it was.

We love this cute little beach house! Big enough for my family of 8. The only complaint I have is the steep stairs. 😆 But can’t fix those. I’ll have to come back when the toddlers a little older! My kids love the VHS player upstairs. They were sad the cassette player was gone.

Enjoyed it but would have liked a notebook with Do’s and don’t, WiFi password, what channels available on TV, checkout procedures- strip beds, where to put towels etc.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. My husbands family had a beach cabin in this same beach. We still have many friends that live on this beach. Great location, cabin has everything you need, even an outdoor fridge. We brought our dog and the back deck is fenced in. I would recommend this property for a family. There was just 4 of us and plenty of room.

Photos are dated, construction debris in yard unsafe for kids
Good beach location. Possibly the most neglected home in the development. Overdue for pressure clean and painting. Greeted by old abandoned construction debris in yard; unsafe for kids. Mildew and oil stains on all decks and chipped patio tables. View obstructed by masses of bird poop on upstairs windows. Cleaning crew left us trash at front door, dog poop in yard. Pots standing in 1" stagnant water. Cobwebs in upstairs bathrooms & bedrooms. Cut this stay short due to lack of cleaning and safety issues. Good communication with VRBO No communication from host untill 7 days after stay,

Nice family spring break get-away
Enjoyed our time on the beach. Cute little cabin. Clean. Decent kitchen. Our dog loved chasing sticks and tennis balls on the beach. Loved that there was a small laundry/mud room with a dog & sandy feet rinse off shower. This is not a modern fancy-shmancy place - just a cozy homey cabin to have some quality family time.

Cozy stay on the beach
Cozy and clean house on the beach. We loved playing games and doing puzzles at the vintage table. Beds were comfortable. Only concern might be that the stairs are very steep and awkward so if people are older or too young it might be a challenge. Loved the little grassy area across the street for outdoor games and the beach access for Long Beach walks.

Dinner Club Annual Weekend
We enjoy the location of this house and it was very cozy especially during the storm. The kitchen was well stocked but we found some other items lacking, i.e. not enough PT (I usually carry extra thank goodness), we cook a lot so we use a lot of dishes and there were only 2 dishwasher pods and a little dishwashing liquid. We were asked to start a load of laundry but we couldn't find detergent anywhere. Sadly the upstairs had not been dusted in quite a while. One thing to add is flashlights with batteries that work and emergency candles. Again, I used mine from my car's emergency kit.

This is a lovely beach house. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Right on the beach; so relaxing and quiet. Fantastic water views, including from the top floor bedroom. Everything was fantastic; we look forward to staying again!

Waterfront + pet friendly
Great place to bring family and friends and your pet. The house is older but they’ve done a good job updating most of it. Right on the water it feels almost like you’re on a boat! We brought our sups and enjoyed seeing seals very close to the beach. 4 stars bc no coffee filters and there was a funny smell - easily fixed by the property manager.

Lots of room and great beach neighborhood
Since we can't live there full time, we love to rent beach houses - we've rented several places on Whidbey, Vashon, and Camano over the years. This beach house has four bedrooms and sleeps at least 10. It would be a great place for a big gathering of family or friends. It's Covid time, though, so it was just the two of us and our two dogs. This seems like a home that has been in one family for many years. It was recently updated - new paint, wood floors, and furniture. The beds and bedding were comfortable and seemed new as well. It's a little quirky, but in a good way. It's a quiet neighborhood - especially midweek in November. But any time of the year is the right time to stay at the beach. We'll definitely come again.

Great location, gorgeous view
We enjoyed our stay a lot. The property is private, great access to the beach. Even though the house is very old, it is remodeled and looks nice. Upstairs bedroom has awesome view of the water, however cold no matter what you do. Deducting two stars because of no response from the owner/ manager to any issues we had. I texted and asked about the location of the lockbox, because I couldn’t find it, no response. Once in the house, there was no internet network with the name provided. We needed the kids to log in for school. We left a voice message, no-one called back. Good thing we had software engineers to reset the router and use factory settings. Otherwise the kids would have missed school. What if it was something even more urgent? We were there for 4 days, someone should have checked their messages.
