This is our 2nd time back to Unit 54. It was another great stay at the beautiful Pinewild. Unit was clean, spacious, and fit our family of 6 well. We greatly enjoyed the fireplace on the cold mornings and made great use of the dock and beach just a minutes walk away. We’ll be back!

The condo is a bit dated. Built 50 yrs ago. Condo was clean, bed comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, very clean, bedding sufficient. Difficult for us older people because of the steep stairs, handrail wobbly. Hot tub did not work. Management co. giving a small rebate for that. Beautiful landscape areas. Easy walk to the private beach with full lake view from the beach

Condo was exactly as listed, will say the managers of the property over-communicated almost at an anxious level but otherwise, we had a great time!

I reached out to someone yesterday, 3 times via the text regarding the hot tub starting at 11am, was told someone would be in contact with me. Then called, was told again that someone would be in contact. No one came and helped us with the issue with hot tub which is why we picked this house. We were very dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of response.

Quiet, comfortable, clean! We went to ski, within minutes drive to heavenly. Gave 4stars because walk ways, stairs, road within housing area could’ve been cleared better. There was a storm the weekend prior, so not sure why it still wasn’t better cleared when we arrived 7 days later

This property is located in the Pinewild Resort just a few short miles from the downtown area. The landscaping , beautiful trees, and private beach were exceptional. Compared to the other areas in South Lake Tahoe, too crowded, too busy, this place was exactly the right spot for my husband and I. I like a calm, quiet beautiful area for vacation.
The condo itself was very roomy , lots of space and clean. The kitchen had everything you would need. We were there during the hottest week of the year. Most of the places in South Lake Tahoe do not have air conditioning and this property didn't either . It was stuffy in the afternoon and evening without air conditioning, but at night, it wasn't a problem. We opened the windows and it cooled off.
The place was clean and neat inside. The beds were comfortable. However, I do feel that the bedding linens and blankets definitely need to be upgraded. For the money we paid, I expected higher quality than what was there. and the pillows on the couch need to be tossed. They are old and kind of dirty. If the property team would make this change, I'd say it was 5 stars. But, I'm only giving 4 because the linens need to be upgraded.
I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet area but still close enough to drive to the action in South Lake Tahoe. Also, for those of you with multiple families staying, there is only one parking space allowed for this unit too. You can not have two cars here. They are very strict about that.

Wonderful location
We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location, large enough space for three families and well maintained. We would stay again.

Family Time
The property was an easy walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. The townhouse was clean, comfortable and kid friendly. The check in and out was easy. We had a wonderful vacation!

Good Family Trip
It was a perfect location. Condo was a little older than pictures indicated. There was dust and cobwebs all over the ceilings and corners. The couch had a BO smell to it. Overall, good spot for family with kids.

Family Time
It was fine for us. Liked the 3/3 bed/bath. Hot tub good.
Beach lovely. Well stocked kitchen which is rare I find.
No one seemed to know what one had to do with ashes so we had to leave them as suggested.
You might want to fix the loose screw in dishwasher door.
Water flows out under door of master shower.
No handheld shower which made showering children impossible, and quick freshups also not possible.
Decoratively speaking, a green or darkish striped sofa would be good. The current ones 'clash' with the decorative timber.
The beige bedspread in master is a bit boring. Again, bright stripes or an interesting pattern including the colors in the dramatic wall feature. Decorative aspects really matter....I know because I own a place I rent and loan.
Cheers.....

Gret Stay
ONly problem is we were not given an access code to the main gate. The gate was shut and we waited 90 minutes for someone to come. We called vacasa and waited on hold the whole time we were waiting at the gate with young screaming children in the car.

Weekend getaway
Overall it was a good experience, good location close to beach, surrounded by pine trees, and close to grocery store and a few restaurants. Really enjoyed the hot tub and nice deck.
I think that the place should be more updated for the price range.
The master bedroom mattress was not very comfortable, very firm. I wish that there was a hair dryer and coffee available, a necessity that should have been included.
