A fabulous 10 days in Kalkan! The villa was perfectly placed to reach restaurants and shops very easily. The supermarket was a 2 minute walk so ideal as it was super hot. Loved the fact we had 19 litres of water on a chiller unit when we arrived, and when it ran out it was promptly replaced with a new one. 100%would recommend.

Villa is beautiful. We were a party of six adults and it was really lovely to all have double beds and en-suites so no-one got the short straw. Villa was clean and we really appreciated the welcome pack and cold water dispenser. Beautiful town with shops bars and restaurants set along little cobble streets. The Turkish were so friendly and rembered us by name two days after eating at a restaurant. The only downside we found was that the beach was pebble but the indigo beach club was a great alternative. With all of us in our early sixties we found the hills a little too much, but it was a good excuse to stop off at a bar half way back. All in all we had a really great holiday and I would highly recommend staying at Villa Locum!

Exactly as described, but even better in reality. Good-sized bedrooms, each with a balcony and brand-new bathroom. Huge kitchen-living room. Loved the dining area on the roof. Very well-equipped with lots of matching dishes and glassware. Towels galore! Pool was spotless. The villa is older, in a charming, solid way. Just a short walk to the centre of town, marina and beach. Everyone from age 6 to 75 loved this villa and Kalkan. (Restaurants are overpriced, but grocery stores abound) Host and property agent were excellent. This is one of the best vrbo properties we have rented in 10 years of travelling.

Villa Lokum didn’t disappoint and fully lived up to it’s name.
Very conveniently located for frequent visits to the charming Old Town for dining and drinking as well as being 2 minutes walk from a very well stocked supermarket.
The villa itself feels homely and comes with all of the amenities one could wish for. The efficient air conditioning and swimming pool were hugely appreciated!
The roof terrace with it’s bbq, convenient fridge and wonderful views was a great place to sit and see the day out. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Villa Lokum.

The views from Villa Lokum over the bay are absolutely stunning. The property was very clean when we arrived and there was another clean/change of towels etc half way through our stay. The property is right on the edge of the old town so access to bars and restaurants is super easy. It does mean there's a bit of traffic noise but if you want to close to the action the villa is ideal. We had a few problems with Wi-Fi while we were there but they were sorted quickly by the property manager.

This was our second stay in Kalkan but first time in Villa Lokum. It was a perfect location, close to a supermarket and all the facilities that Kalkan offers. The roof top terrace was amazing and spent many evenings up there. The accommodation was as described, no disappointments, would go back again.

Brilliant. Exactly as described and centrally located. We were a family of 8 with two children aged 13 and 9 and was plenty big enough, so much room, even the bedrooms were spacious.
The pool was clean and big enough for us all to get in and enjoy, in fact couldn’t keep anyone out of it. The roof terrace, wow, what views. Everything that you could have possibly wanted for your stay was there.
If we ever needed a four bedroom Villa again we wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again.

The Villa was great and despite some early reservations about the swimming pool being too small we were absolutely over the moon with both the pool area and the villa. Each bedroom has a bathroom which was great for a large family with growing teenage girls. Kalkan is stunning and the Villa was well situated to walk into the town. Plus, having a supermarket so close was super convenient. We had such a great holiday!!!

Villa on the edge of Old Town
The property is accurately described and has an excellent location. In the years we have been coming to Kalkan only 1 other villa was better located and that is no longer available as a rental. The pool while not large, but has the sun nearly all of the day and even at the end of May was warm. The rooms have very good on-suite and the air-con works very well.
The walk down to the old town takes on a few minutes, but the less able might want to take to take the dog leg back up.
All told a very good package.

Fantastic location, tastefully decorated house, wonderful pool
A little gem of a place, the location could not be better. Kalkan is hilly, so walking is a bit of an exercise each time. Luckily, Villa Lokum is right next to the old city with tons of little restaurants, you won’t need a car to go grocery shopping or to the nearest beach. The view is also quite magical.
We’ve had an infant with us and were gracefully provided with a crib - much appreciated. Our 6-year old got a ton of use out of the pool.
Funny thing - the house looks better in person than in the pictures. The rooms are neatly decorated. There is a grill upstairs, AC Units in each room, gorgeous views out of every window.
We’ve come across a couple of hiccups like the city losing its electricity and running water - bummer, but what can you do with that (make sure to stock up on the bottled water!!). Two of the AC units didn’t work for the first 3 days, but were fixed the day after I’ve told Muhammet about the issue.
Overall we’ve enjoyed our stay very much. Again, you can’t beat the location of the house!
Thank you for our wonderful stay, Jenny 🤗

Wonderful Stay
Spent a great week at Villa Lokum with friends, celebrating a special birthday. Ideally located within the old town, so no need for a car. Beautiful terrace for outside dining. Also very handy having a supermarket just next door!

We had a fantastic stay in Villa Lokum. It was perfectly located at the foot of a steep hill, very close to the old town and harbour. This was a real plus as most other villas were far less accessible. The villa itself was exactly as described and perfect for our family. The pool was lovely and so needed in the Turkish heat! Another great feature was the roof terrace. It was lovely eating there in the evening, watching the sun setting. The owner, Jenny, was exceptional in her communication and provided answers to any questions we had. We also had really good service and advice from the agent in Kalkan. He was quick to respond to queries from us and helped out with advice about excursions.Kalkan itself is lovely. The old town is great to wander round and the restaurants are exceptional - we had so many fantastic and reasonably priced meals. The beach is quite small and stoney but you don't really need it when you have your own pool! There are several beach clubs within walking distance where you can spend the day sunbathing on wooden decks overlooking the sea. They also have access to watersports. A couple of bits of advice for anyone visiting are to exchange most of your currency in Turkey rather than the UK, as you get a much better rate. And, if you are planning on drinking alcohol in the villa, make your purchases in the duty free, rather than supermarkets, as alcohol is more expensive than the UK. Overall, a great villa, in a lovely location and a really helpful owner. I would gladly recommend Villa Lokum as a perfect base for a Turkish holiday.

Fabulous Villa Lokum!
Well what can I say, advert does not do this Villa justice, the views are amazing of Kalkan bay from breakfast on terrace through to beautiful sunsets and moonlight over the water. The villa was very comfortable , we stayed with our three sons and girlfriend so 7 of us in total, Villa affords private space for all with en-suite facilities and private balcony’s plus communal space to enjoy including a lovely daily serviced pool. Local agent Mohammet was very friendly and helpful. Kalkan itself is a lovely town, with plenty of nice restaurants and lots of activities to choose. Free water taxi service to local beach clubs recommended plus great private boat tours. Will definitely be recommending this villa to friends and family!

Wonderful villa in a beautiful and convenient location
We have visited Kalkan 10 times now and will never grow tired of this beautiful location. This was our first time at Villa Lokum. 8 of us stayed at the villa which was ideal as each room was a similar high spec with an ensuite bathroom. The villa was extremely well equipped with a wonderful roof terrace which has amazing views. Mohammed was on hand if we had any problems and we had a mid stay clean which was very satisfactory. Our only issue was that when there were 8 of us trying to shower there wasn't enough hot water. There was also no hot water in the morning as it obviously relies on solar heating - this was also a problem on the couple of days which were cloudy. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Wonderful Villa with Amazing Views!
We stayed here for 10 days in June this year and had a fantastic time. We had 4 teenagers with us and the location was perfect for the adults and the teens; 5 minutes walk, down a steep hill, from the main restaurants but only 30 seconds from a very adequate supermarket.
The house was well-equipped and the pool was kept beautifully clean by the very discreet caretaker. The views from the roof terrace are second to none and it's perfect for dragging the last ounce out of the sun in the evening. We were not aware of any particular road noise and all the bedrooms are en-suite with very efficient air conditioning throughout. If we had one small criticism it would have been that a microwave would have been useful.
We would definitely return!

Centrally located, lovely views and stunning villa
The Villa was lovely, well looked after and spotlessly clean. A small pool a lovely roof terrace with fab views of the sea, take your binoculars and watch the turtles playing in the bay.
The stay was without fault, because of the central easy to walk to 5 minutes to every where, the location made it a pleasure, however there is a little road noise, which of course if you want to be centrally located is to be expected.
Kalkan is wonderful, the people friendly, pretty village by the sea, with just enough to do. I would recommend this villa and Kalkan to any of my friends and family and already have done so.
