Winter Driving
Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order. You may find valuable winter driving tips from the CHP here: https://bit.ly/3IKiY7n
Summer Patio Furniture
Patio furniture is available for your use during summer months only. All outdoor tables, chairs and loungers are put into storage in the fall, in order to protect the furnishings from winter weather. Barbecue grills, however, do remain outside for your enjoyment.
Be Bear Aware
Black bears are very common in this area and have become habituated to human food and garbage. Because bears no longer have a strong fear of humans, you may encounter bears during your spring, summer and fall stays. Feeding bears is illegal. Leaving food outside, trash accessible, or doors and windows unlocked is likely to cause significant property damage to homes and to vehicles. Please take a moment to learn how to be Bear Aware, so that we can continue to live in harmony with our wildlife.

This was our second time staying at this home and it really is an incredible place! Our Rhodesian ridgeback loved all the artwork :) It’s so convenient to everything and has such gorgeous views of the lake. Can’t wait to stay again!

Beautiful setting, well maintained property with super amenities.

This house was not only clean, luxurious, and expansive, but also kept revealing interesting details over our 3 day stay. The artwork is amazing. The great room ceiling is painted to look like clouds, but when you look closer, those clouds are in the shape of bears! The master bedroom ceiling was painted to show the constellations, and when you pull up a star gazing app, it almost perfectly lines up with the actual positioning of the stars!
You can see the lake from the deck, but only small pieces because of the tree canopy. Kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil and appliance you would need.
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning in the future.

We loved every bit of this house!
Very well equipped with all the necessities. The layout and the size was perfect for our family. Very cozy with top end appliances.
Waking up every morning watching the sunrise on the lake from the master bedroom was a treat. This is coming from someone who is not an early morning person, but we did not want to miss it.
We loved how closed to town and the ski resorts the house is, and yet a little distance from the buzz.
We will rent it again with no doubt.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

This house couldn't be any more lovely! Beautiful views from the Primary bedroom of the snow-covered trees and sneak peeks of the lake. A hot tub nestled in the winter wonderland, a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace, close to Northstar & Kings beach, and plenty of room for friends or family (and our little dog too). The driveway is steep, so make sure your car is 4wd and you bring chains but the property manager was helpful and warned us of this in advance so we were prepared. We had to leave the cars in the driveway a few times if we went out in the evening. We would definitely rent again next time we head to Tahoe!

Incredible Property
We had a great time at this property. The house looks new inside and out. Incredible views, very secluded, quiet, absolutely ideal. The hot tub out on the deck was very large and in the perfect spot. We had several teenagers with us so it would have been nice to have a second family room/bonus room on another level but even without, we absolutely loved the place and would definitely stay there again. Thanks for everything.

Very Impressed
The home was clean and very well furnished. We were impressed with how well everything was thought out and prepared. The jacuzzi was warmed up and ready to go upon arrival. The home had a good heating system and each room had a separate small heater. Loved our time here

Great location/nice cabin - better communication
We were so excited for our stay here! Unfortunately, poor communication about an important feature of the home forced us to stay inside for a full day. We were told the driveway was heated; however upon arrival something seemed off. One of our cars was slipping and couldn't make it up to the garage. My husband slipped while walking across the driveway because the ice was so slick. He spent a good part of the afternoon removing ice and nursing a sore hip due to the fall. One of the showers didn't work which wasn't a big deal. The home was nice otherwise - we enjoyed family time in the big living spaces and many of the views were marvelous. We just wish we were communicated with about the heated driveway not working so something could have been done prior to our arrival.

The views from the cabin were absolutely breath taking.
We enjoyed staying at this cabin. It gave us that at home feeling from the moment we walked in. The views were what got us. Waking up in the master bedroom and being able to see the trees full of snow and Lake Tahoe in the distance was amazing. Only negative experience was the driveway especially on the days it snowed. Just a little scary since it gets pretty steep toward the top. Would stay at this cabin again.
