Lovely property but a toilet and bathroom upstairs would have been a big advantage

The house was fabulous. Exactly as described, only better. We had eight adults staying and all were extremely impressed. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and the views out the windows are gorgeous. Everything worked as promised and we were warm all night long. The location is perfect and the walks to wineries are scenic and easy. We would all stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Collins street house perfect for our family get away.
RedHill is our go to place for family get away as it’s so close to all the places we enjoy visiting.
Perfect for my 70th birthday with family.
The only issue we had was the paint smell that everybody commented on when they first arrived.
One of the family went home and got their humidifier which seemed to work especially in the upper bed rooms other than that loved our stay.

Wedding weekend away
Rented this property with friends for a weekend wedding in Red Hill. Plenty of living space, and we’ll appointed bedrooms that ensured everyone was well rested and had their own space to get ready. Handy location for a short walk up the street to Nordie cafe for coffee and breakfast, and a short drive to anywhere in Red Hill. Good outdoor spaces, but a lovely, light-filled and relaxing property.

Nice but tired
We had a nice stay. The communication was great, the beds were comfortable, it was great to have a real fire, the windows are very pretty, it’s close to a nice.cafe and there was plenty of space (would be perfect for a few families with kids). Unfortunately, there were a few things that need some attention. The towels were damp (possibly just because it was so cold in the house), the handle on the fire place was broken which means it got too hot to touch, the pedal on the bin was broken, the wheels on the dishwasher tray fell off, some of the dishes were dirty (I think because the dishwasher doesn’t clean very well) and there were no face washers or tissues. Given how much we paid the little things were a bit disappointing.

The fireplace was great, we all loved our time here.

Just fabulous!
We had 3 combined families with people of all ages (including fur babies) and it was truly a wonderful short stay with enough space for everyone. Very quiet neighbourhood so you do have to be mindful of noise at night but we had no issues. Management was swift in their response. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you so much!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Collins House. We were attending a wedding at a nearby winery so the location was perfect for an easy trip to the wedding, exploring Red Hill and visiting the beach at Dromana. 8 adults and 1 baby fit in the house very comfortably, with ample space (but not enough time!) to lounge around.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful. It was just the three of us staying but it could easily take a huge group of friends and family. It was a home away from home, much enjoyed. The cafe on the main road was lovely too for deli items, although the farm shop was pricey so take food with you! Lovely and peaceful though. Thanks!

Attending our daughters wedding in Crittenden it was a perfect property for our whole family to stay...

very poor as far as cleanliness goes. The house was clearly not prepared for our stay. Overall, very disappointed would not recommend.

We recently stayed at Collins Street House for the long weekend.......and could not fault our stay. The house was much larger than we thought, and comfortably housed all 12 adults & one baby. Lovely open fire place, great kitchen to cook in.......everything is considered. Every bedroom is lovely - quite often when you go away with a big group there will be a few people that luck out with the not so lovely rooms......that never seem to feature in photo's of the property. But not at Collins House, everyone had more than a comfortable stay. Including our baby that had his choice of port-a-cots and a high chair as well. Also Kim was an absolute delight to deal with in the lead up to our stay, and her communication was impeccable. Thanks for a fabulous stay....we will be back sooner rather than later!Thank you :-)

Weekend away
Lovely house in a nice quiet location but with easy access to Red Hill village and the surrounding Mornington Peninsula. The house was light and bright, clean and tidy, and well equipped for a weekend away for five mums and five teenage daughters.

Great House. Very well presented.
We had a great long weekend at Collins St House celebrating my birthday. We are a family of 6 adults, 4 children and two dogs. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room to relax and very well presented. All the essentials were provided. Above and beyond Kim. Well done. We did the recommended walk to Green Olive. Most enjoyable. Next time we will book ahead for lunch. Would love to return.

Great stay
Our family was well catered for in this lovely house. It was well presented and had plenty of everything we needed. We were even able to take our pet rabbit. There were 10 of us staying and we thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay for a large group. The communication with the owner was comprehensive and responses to our emails were received promptly.

We had a great time staying here! The house was cosy and warm, and there were enough space for adults and kids to have their own corners and enjoy themselves. Kim was a great host and was very quick in her response for all the questions we had! Thank you, Kim!

Perfect for a group of adults
We stayed at Collins Street House with our children and their partners. We had a lovely time.
There were eight of us and there were plenty of beds and plenty of space in the house. Even though the weather was cold, wet and windy which meant we spent a lot of time in the house, we didn't feel too crowded. The house is well stocked with everything you need to cook, eat, sleep and live (although we couldn't find a broom anywhere!).
The house was cold when we first arrived but it didn't take long to heat up as there are plenty of ways to heat up the house - split systems in the main area and in the bedrooms, several portable heaters and an open fire with plenty of firewood. The local powergrid failed on two mornings, not due to anything in the house but due to trees coming down on powerlines in the wind. Thank goodness for the fireplace which kept the living areas warm.
The beds and furniture are very comfortable, as is the whole house. Kim is a good communicator and host. We highly recommend Collins Street House.

Nice little cabin with great fireplace and plenty of room
We had a great weekend there for my wife’s 30th. Slept 10 of us comfortably, bathroom situation probably worked fine but anymore people it might be a hassle. Overall loved it here, would stay again!

Perfect house!
We loved our stay. Such a beautiful big house with multiple nooks for relaxing, beautiful fire and lots of heating to keep us warm!
Quick walk to some good coffee and some shops.
Most importantly so clean!

Excellent property
Such a beautifully set out property! Great for large family / group of friends. Lovely location too. Only suggestions is checking all lights work before hiring out as half the lamps didn't work, a lock on the main bathroom would be good as the shower is directly as you walk in (if staying with friends this would help), also didn't notice a smoke detector in the second large bedroom upstairs at the back of the house - there may have been one though?

Great holiday home
Our family had a wonderful 4 days at Collins St, Redhills. The large house catered for 4 couples and 4 children and the layout of bedrooms works great for privacy.Great kitchen with everything you need. Handy to local shops and beaches. Would definitely come back. Thanks Kim for extra requests.

Wonderful Weekend away!! Pure Bliss
We stayed at the Collins Street house for a 40th Birthday weekend, it is an amazing home! Kim was so helpful! House was spotless when we arrived, lots of firewood to keep up warm during a cold and wet weekend! Collins Street House was stocked with everything we needed and I cannot wait to return!
We had 9 adults stay and didn't feel cramped...everyone commented on the quality of the house..the new bathroom is stunning!
Great location for exploring the area!
