Clean and well decorated. Everything worked.

Excellent location, great views. Good walking. Peaceful.

The location was totally peaceful and incredible. The place was so clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the items we could possibly need including dishwasher tablets along with various different types of coffee and tea. It’s close enough to walk to Ruthin for shops and tourism attractions. The beds and sofa was comfortable. There was a very helpful booklet of information and some leaflets. The TV has Netflix and Amazon prime to sign into as well. Really beautiful place and so well kept.
Nothing. The only thing we couldn’t find was coasters which we wanted to use to keep the furniture protected.

Everything. Stunning views. Lovely apartment, nice welcome pack and fresh milk waiting. Could not fault a thing. Look forward to our next visit .

The cottage is dog friendly and although it was very clean , it was also practical. This is so important when you have dogs to feel you can settle into your stay because it’s comfortable not clinical and you feel at ease. Also worth a mention is the large field behind the cottages which is free for dogs to use. Lovely peaceful spot with great hosts and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.
All good 👍

Accomodation was comfortable, clean and well appointed and the view of the hills from the windows was superb.
Location was good for what we had planned to do. Hosts were welcoming and friendly.
The fridge was a little small for our needs and was situated too low to be able to reach items comfortably.

fabulous location, idyllic surroundings and within walking distance of the lovely town of Ruthin. Hosts were welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. We appreciated the welcome items and extra pet towels. There was a large, safe field to let our dog run around in. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed drinks and snacks in the lovely huts at the back of the accommodation .

Fantastic location. So peaceful and relaxing.
Nothing. We loved every bit of our stay.

Had everything you could need especially kitchen wise including dishwasher tabs and fresh milk etc ... There was a lovely area to have a fire on top of the hill in the evening which was gorgeous, so many nice touches like pillows and blankets up there too! Its a nice quiet area, which was really good for us as we took our dog so felt secure letting him walk around. The accomadtion itself was all very clean and tidy and the owners were friendly - welcomed us as we arrived.
Nothing was bad about the accommodation itself, there isn't alot close by so you do have to drive everywhere. There is a big supermarket about 5 min drive though which was handy but nothing in walking distance.

Lovely location, beautiful surroundings. Very easy to check in/check out. Place was absolutely spotless and a very high standard of decor. It was extremely cosy and perfect size for the two of us. We would definitely stay here again.
We went up to the little huts at the back and unfortunately the big wooden steps were extremely slippery (it had been raining earlier on) and my husband had quite a nasty fall and hurt his back. So those steps could do with some gripping on them to ensure no-one else does the same. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

The owners were very welcoming. All facilities were available for us. Short drive to Ruthin centre.

The Granary has been a brilliant spot for our long weekend. It's a brilliant spot to get out and about into the local area. The accommodation is lovely! Really comfortable and clean. Tom and his parents are lovely and we can't wait to go back!

The owners were very accommodating & friendly, nothing was any trouble. Apartment was well equipped with all you needed for a weekend break .
Very dog friendly, with a lovely big field for them to run around in .
The steps to the tiered garden were not well lit, so when going out with the dogs, late in the evening, it was very dark. But we survived with a torch

Location was good and very peaceful. Living room and kitchen space were adequate and reasonably well equipped.
Outdoor space and huts were good and we spent a lovely evening reading in them.
Bedding was nice.
Welcome pack consisting of a packet of Welsh cakes, pint of milk and decanted tea, coffee and sugar.
The mattress was very uncomfortable for us and it seemed to be on the small size for a double bed.
There was insufficient water for a warm bath and despite several attempts the shower flow and temperature remained unpredictable. There were also insufficient towels for a three night stay, just one hand and one small bath towel per person.
Although overall clean, the accommodation was very dusty and there was a very unpleasant fishy smell that appeared in the bedroom every time I put the main light on, it seems to come from the light fitting itself.
Also, there were no lights on the steps leading to the outdoor space, so after dusk you need to be extremely careful on all flights of steps leading down hill from the
the huts, that although beautifully lit with solar fairy lights provide no illumination beyond.
As keen walkers all we really require is a comfortable bed and a hot bath or shower, sadly these were both absent at the granary.

The entire thing. Just brilliant. The price was great too.
Only fault I could bring up was that the bath water was not warm enough. Shower was great.
