Nice Hotel clean and comfortable and very secure room

The Location is approximately 3 mins walk from the Railway Station. Regular trains from Early Hours to the End of the Day that connect you with Sydney . Easy reach of the Harbour via Railway or even the Airport is near enough for a Train. Local shopping centre has a few cafes in it and a cheap supermarket is right inside the Railway Station before you entrer through the barriers.

No real view of anything. Slap bang in the heart of the Chinese Community so you feel like the odd one out

Our room stunk like something had died in the drains so they bombed it with huge amount of perfume to mask it but no luck once it wore off had to keep bathroom door closed whole time to avoid throwing up

At the price point of $135, this is a good place for a short stay.

This hotel accepts cash - you can avoid paying card surcharges! Close to buses and rail station. Our room bathroom was refurbished and modern.

No street drop-off point, and no onsite parking - found parking can be expensive! Room was comfy but small, so no space for a table nor chairs. Some noise intrusion from industrial aircons.

I won’t recommend anyone wasting their money. one of my worst stay with booking.com. I don’t know why they have high rat

Only the location is good as we wanted to stay in Hurstville for our convenience.

I didn’t like the property the moment I entered. we checked in at the bar. The room was not properly vacuumed. Toilet had mould and cockroaches. There were no microwave in the room but a noisy bar refrigerator. very suffocating rooms.

Location was awesome…and restaurant downstairs was amazing

Room a little shabby, I’ve stayed in 3 star in Japan for a lot less money and they were amazing. This room had a faulty toilet roll holder, missing handle off cupboard, black carpet showed white fluff??? No iron, no hairdryer. no instructions how to close or use the safe. Loud aircon,

Perfect location, great deal, super comfy, Halal food nearby!

We love our stay at this hotel so much! For travellers like us, the hotel location is perfect, it’s about 100m walking from the train station and there are so many eateries and stores to shop and dine! For Muslim travellers, the location also has multiple Halal eateries nearby, including a kebab store right across the street. We can’t find fault in this hotel, honestly. Check in and check out were super quick and easy, staff was so helpful and friendly. Left luggage storage is available and the Wi-Fi is fantastic. The hotel has an elevator, which makes it extra perfect for families with kids and elderly, or travellers with large luggage. Our room is sweet and simple, we really enjoyed the beds and showers. There are also a mini fridge and mugs with the basic complimentary tea-coffee-sugar combo, shampoo, soap and body wash. Our TV is huge and we love it! The extra plug points are also super helpful for us to charge all our devices and power banks. The hotel is basically located on top of a restaurant and sports bar, but trust us, it’s really quiet at night! If you’re travelling to the airport from this hotel, you can take a bus from in front of NAB/Chemist Warehouse and switch to another bus just 10 mins later (use Google map for details); because this only cost us about $4 to get to the airport instead of the $21 train ride! What a deal, right?

We have almost nothing to complain, really!

Would recommend travellers

Location wise was good as we are surrounded by good food and about 1 min walk to the train station.

Could have spoons for coffee in the rooms and hairdryers would be a great help along with connection with netflix on the tv as watching local channels are very boring.

Pleasant

Kitchen staff denied to heat up meal for my little one. They said it is not for guests in the hotel. Staying in the hotel and not even getting to use facilities on the building made me really upset.

My security deposit was not returned

I stayed there for 2 weeks but the housekeeping did not bother to change the sheets even when I placed the "please tidy up my room" sign. There was also some knocking on the door that I reported but the staff said there's no one knocking when they checked the CCTV. I was also not told on when they will give me back my security deposit.

not worth for the money .

close to public transport

too noisy , wasn’t clean , table lamp didn’t work , shower didn’t have much pressure. bistro closing time said 2139 but was closed by 2050 .

regular visitor but seems room cleanliness standard going down everytime. will have to reconsider future visits

bathroom exhaust not working, aircon barely working and dust clearly visible inside. sheets were not fresh. towels had hair in it. fridge had water leak inside. wardrobe shelves dirty, floor carpet not vacuumed. overall felt like a big let down in cleanliness.

Meridian Hotel Hurstville with easy airport access

Meridian Hotel Hurstville is a good location at a reasonable price and with good access to the airport. There is a restaurant on site but it seems only Chinese. The room was adequate. The main drawback is lack of parking. There is a little carpark opposite the front of the hotel which is free after 6pm. Before 6pm you can only wait there for one hour.
