Such a cool, quirky house! Eclectic decor, tons of cool features. Extremely well appointed, and the owners make sure you have plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. Great communication with the owner! No...the floors and walls aren't perfect, as it's an old house. But that all contributes to its quirky charm! Before checking out we already booked the house for the same week in 2025! Thanks for a great VRBO, David!

Our crazy family came from 5 different states to attend a family wedding anc celebrate a high school graduation. We loved being able to stay together in such a spacious house.

This is a good location for a larger group, with plenty of space, rooms and restrooms for weekend stays.

This house is wonderful. There were 18 women from various locations who gathered here this weekend and NO complaints! That's saying A LOT!! We were all delighted with the space, decor, amenties. I received a ton of compliments about the beds. I was concerned about having enough hot water. No issue at all. The decor is absolutely delightful. There was plenty of room and a a couple really comfortable gathering places. It's close to everything. Parts of Market Street are sketchy, but we just walked down a different street. The description didn't clarify that the 2nd floor isn't accessible from the 1st floor. It's a separate entrance outside. That would have been undesireable had the weather been snowy and cold. But, it wasn't so it wasn't an issue. I highly recommend this house and would definitely come back.

This is the second year we have had our family Christmas at this property. It has enough bedrooms for our large group. We appreciate the extra garbage bags, paper towels, coffee filters and other extras that are available to us. David is very responsive to my texts. We also appreciate the cleanliness and the comfortable beds.

This was a great house to get for our staff trip. We go to several different cities a year and this one was great as far as space, comfort, and location.

Our family converged here over the Christmas weekend to celebrate the holiday and our mother's 85th birthday. The house was great for accommodating our large family and the location was very good for Indy activities. We appreciated how well the house was stocked with towels, extra blankets, soaps, etc. However, the listing did not mention that to access the upstairs of the house, one must go outside and use a separate entrance. Cold, rainy weather and nighttime treks from downstairs to upstairs made this less than ideal. The kitchens could have been better stocked with plates and eating utensils for a house this large and the overall cleanliness was lacking in certain areas. Many of the rooms look very different from the nicely staged photographs shown in the listing. We were disappointed that the house did not appear as nice as the pictures portray. Overall, David was a very good host and the house fulfilled its purpose.

What a great place for our group of runners in town for the Momentum Marathon!

Bad odor when walking in the door. Bedroom by laundry smelled of sewer. Poorly stocked kitchen unless you ran around to all kitchens. Then not enough utensils or bowls to have soup with. Floors unlevel. Not good for older folks. Microwave cart kept rolling away from the wall. To access 2 nd floor you had to go outside. Fridge froze vegetables in crisper drawer. Beds adequate but sheets and covers not comfortable. Front porch was only outdoor seating, not the best neighborhood. No text or phone from owner. I know olived next door, but I don’t knock on doors of those I don’t know

We needed a place to sleep a big group for the weekend, and this was a perfect place to crash. We were in and out but David made it easy to have a good place to rest even with our numbers. Friendly host and very responsive.

This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. I bring a group of interns from my school to Indianapolis each spring and we live how spacious this place is and how many restrooms are available for us to use. Very clean, allows larger groups to each have their own room.

For once we had enough sleeping rooms for our large family. Loved the large room in the back of the house where most everyone gathered. The kitchens weren’t very well equipped, but we brought paper plates and plastic forks so, we got along fine.

As advertised
We had a large group stay here for the 500. The house was exactly as advertised and the pictures were accurate. The house is old, so the floors and doors and beds creak and groan, so lots of noises during the night, but that’s to be expected in an older home. There was ample kitchen equipment, bedding, and towels. Plenty of parking too, which is a plus downtown. Communication with the owner was timely and helpful.

Lots of room. Whole house comfortable and well equipped.
House slept 10 adults for a work overnight comfortably. So many touches for making it easy to be away from home, box fans, mirrors, 3 kitchens, lots of chairs and tables, comfortable beds, great host!

OMG This was the worst experience and very strange and weird. I’ve rented many properties in the past and I actually don’t remember ever having a bad experience ☹️
But I also never had an owner who lives across the rental property and monitors you 24/7.
I came along with 7 moms and 13 teenagers. We rented the property only to have a place to sleep at night and during the day we attended NCYC event for youth.
I arrived on Thursday at 3 PM and I was pretty disappointed to see that the house is actually two different apartments and to go upstairs you have to go outside and use a different door. It is an old house and there wasn’t much effort put into cleaning it. The curtain in the shower looked like it was never washed, The carpets are old and covered with extra rugs, the linens did not smell like just washed, But they looked OK so I was just praying they were not used before :( without washing.
Downstairs we could smell the mold!
I was telling myself we are here only for the night and where will I find a new place for 20 people in last minute- so I decided we will have to manage but when the other moms arrived at 10:30 PM - they were panicking especially because of the smell of mold.
On our first night of stay (which ended to be the ONLY night)- owner David sent us a message that we can party all night and we don’t have to worry about keeping it quiet as long as it’s inside and not outside of the house. I mean we did not come to party, and we need to have a good night sleep but I thought that’s nice of the owner to be so open for parties 😳. Although pretty strange at the same time.
Next morning I open my phone and I see several msgs from the owner sent at 1 AM: “ You must stop the drinking and smoking NOW!
When I read this message to the other moms we first thought the owner meant to send it to somebody else and by accident he sent it to us. We came to attend a religious event, we had zero alcohol in the house and zero cigarettes!
We got home at 10:30 PM so by the time 20 people ate and took shower (in just 3 available bathrooms)- the last ones went to sleep around 1:30 am.
Then the owner sends me a video where he recorded two of our teenagers playing in the room. This was pretty creepy that we were monitored like that. They were simply laughing and goofing off like teen boys do, and one of our teenagers made a mistake and he threw an empty plastic water bottle through the window. 🤦🏼♀️ Of course that is NOT

Great stay for our large group!
We had a group of 18 ladies for a bachelorette weekend and the house accommodations were perfect! It was a quick Uber ride to wherever we wanted to go downtown. David was easy to communicate with and welcomed us when we arrived. I would definitely rebook this house if I’m ever back in town with a large group!
