Quietly elegant yet home-like, my experience of Palihouse was a delight. The staff are all—to a person— kind and welcoming, and the vibe is warm, familiar, well-curated and much like a club of which you’re a long-time, valued member. The room was very spacious, extraordinarily well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable. A private taste of SoCal at its best; I’ll definitely be returning.
No bathrobes

The property was very hip and fit in well to Santa Barbara. The location was ideal. We were able to walk everywhere. Restaurants for dinner, coffee shops, Christmas boutiques, and tons more.
We were able to plug in our Chevy Bolt in the garage which was a huge plus.

This is a great boutique property, a short walk from downtown State Street Santa Barbara. The hotel is very comfortable and very quiet in spite of its in-town location. The staff could not have been more helpful. I spent an extremely enjoyable 4 days and had great weather to boot. I will go back

The comfort, calmness and peace I felt. It was like home. Great location!!

I love the location, walkable to the center of town, restaurants and historic buildings but on a quiet street. I also love that it has an underground self park garage, cute design, spa water and lemonade on tap in the lobby.
The room cooling is on some kind or programming that is not changeable and I wasn’t cool enough at night. I requested resetting but it wasn’t much improved.

Beautiful hotel and bedroom
Loved the courtyard , a piece of heaven in super busy Santa Barbara
Nice pool , small but well kept
Super friendly staff especially Chandra
Way too expensive for a 4 star hotel

Beautiful room and courtyard
Ladies who served in bar and dining space were delightful
I think it’s overpriced - for this type of price ($1K per night) I’ve previously stayed in Shutters on the beach or at Calamigos Ranch and the facilities there are far better - more choice of restaurants and with a wider variety of areas to hang out in. The communal spaces are small and there’s no facilities whatsoever for evening meals. Also the rooms need to be supplied with milk and tea making facilities.

charming and historic outside and loaded with amenities inside. location was perfect
so many properties state they have a gym but it’s not well thought out. they had 2 bikes and a treadmill. they could have fit at least 2 Elliptical machines. one time investment

I loved the vibe of this boutique style hotel and loved that it is only 2 blocks to the Lobero Theater. I was there for a concert and the ease of walking was why I chose this hotel. I will be back!
The Expresso maker baffled me, but I finally figured it out!

The restaurant bar was closed so there was no food at the hotel.
Our bathroom sink was clogged and couldn’t be used. And the hotel had no personnel to fix it.
Very expensive for such an unpleasant stay.
