Rapporto qualità/prezzo pessimo, veramente molto caro.

Location: Very close to the big, Long Beach. Also close/walking distance to the Main Street in Santa Barbara.
Atmosphere in main building: Small lobby with a lot of decorations, nice inner patio in main building.
Check-in: The rooms were not cleaned when we checked in and they were finished for us to use 2 hrs check-in -time.
Pool: Very dirty, no-one could have cleaned it in ages.
Rooms: They were NOT located in the main hotel Villa Rosa Inn, but across the street in a 2 stores Motel-look-alike-building in TIDE POOL VILLAS. We had paid for a balcony, but it was a patio with 2 chairs on the stairs up to second level. So we basically did not stay at the Villa Rosa. I felt they kind of 'cheated' on me. Paid too much for that room, that not was like in the pictures.
Breakfast '(include'): It said 'breakfast included', and what we were served was on paper/plastic silverware (is that even allowed any more?), some coffee, only some bagel and cream cheese (all plastic served). Disgusting and I also felt cheated since I booked 'with breakfast': no vegetables, no fruit, nothing. Extremely bad.
Cleaningness: In the room, the sheets felt like they were not clean. Messy.

Super!

Breakfast was subpar. Location was the best thing about the place
At Breakfast there was a unhoused gentleman who came daily to eat. He was pleasant as he filled a large thermos with what was left of the coffee. I am happy that they help people in need,I wish it was not at the expense of paying guests.

The hot tub was nice. And fireplace in lobby.
Parking was a challenge, the bedding, sheets, pillows were low end. It wasn’t overlooking the beach like the pictures showed. It’s down the street instead with no view or balcony liked it showed in the pics. For $340.00 a nite. I didn’t see the value. No wifi was given. Nor did they say breakfast is over at 10am.

It was a beautiful hotel that is located close to the pier…
At 3pm, there were 10-12 ahead of us in a line that wasn’t moving. I had to get dressed for a nearby wedding at 4 in the tiny (one at a time) bathroom off the lobby while my husband dressed in the conference room. Thw line had hardly moved and we had to leave without checking in. We were told that we would be called as soon as our room was ready but was not called. when we returned from the wedding at 11:15pm, the front desk was closed. When called, we were told that check-in closed at 11:00 and had to wait until an employee was called to return. No one let us know we had to return by 11, nor did we get confirmation that someone would come back. The manager Tia, was rude when I called back and even hung up on me. When we finally got into our room, there was no toilet paper whatsoever!!

Nice looking main house, good located, very friendly employee at the reception, but unfortunately the management don’t care about there guests, no reaction to our mails and problems with the room.
main house looks nice and tasteful, unfortunately the room we got seemed to be recently took over old und not renovated yet with mold in the bathroom at the ceiling and tile joints. Everywhere are paint stains, the second bed we specifically booked was in the kitchen closed to a loud fridge and the walls are totally undecorated. The Garden/patio is a dump and in daytimes the rooms nearby are construction sides. All this does not fit to the Hotel Villa Rosa that we booked.

The breakfast is very bad

This was really a little gem! I loved the rooms and the common area. They provide decent breakfast, a free cheese and wine in the afternoons and it's very close to the beach, but still quiet at night. Loved the pool area with flowers, statues and interesting decoration and the fireplace in the common area in the reception. Such a lovely and unique place!

The place has so much potential but is over-stuffed with a mismatched collection of a artifacts. I felt like I was in a storage facilty. Not for me.

The property was beautiful. The room included large balcony. The location was close to restaurants and shops.
The room was small. The door to the bathroom wouldn't close with the toilet seat down.

The breakfast was very very boring. Dry white bread, some jelly and a waffle.

Not very good. All bread or pastries, no fruit or juice.
The place needs a facelift and interior makeover. The decor is dated. Too many items--clutter with no single main theme. Bathroom was very plain, with nothing special. But the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is great. Staff was underwhelming, not very warm and welcoming.

Location! Next to the beach and a pier, a lot of nice restaurants nearby. It’s a bit oldie but cozy.
One bed in our room was very squeaky 😫 It was not possible to move into your bed and do not make a noise.

I came in last minute with a a large dog on a Friday. I was impressed regardless of how busy they were with check-ins and it being a summer weekend, the staff was accommodating, nice and found me an amazing room.
I was worried about the balcony, Being so close to the beach, it was rusted and looked like it has not been maintained in a while. I have a great dane 160lbs and did not let him onto the balcony with me for fear of too much weight.

Great location, close to seafront, pier and beach.
Arrived late and female member of staff kindly stayed past her finishing time to book us in.
Main stairway carpet at entrance was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. This gave a very poor immediate impression.
En-suite in bedroom was fine and bedding was clean, however bedroom carpet needed cleaning or replacement, and walls repainting. Fan didn’t work!!
Availability of breakfast items, including coffee was random, and when items ran out they either took a long time to be replenished, or they simply weren’t!! Breakfast staff seemed disinterested.
All of this was really disappointing as the hotel location is great, the architectural style is interesting, but we couldn’t recommend it on the basis of current cleanliness and presentation.
