the location

the fridge had not been turned on some was warm and smelt terrible the bed in the main room was extremely damp. when I pointed this out I was told the room had been steam cleaned and the dampness had not been spotted prior to our arrival. wholly unsatisfactory and no offer to make the situation up to me and my friends

Had a great stay and all in all would definitely come back!

Perfect location! Loved the decor and rooms were spacious. Was nice having a bit of outdoor space. There were some lovely touches like coffee/ tea / cereal provided. Was worried we’d have issues with noise from the high street but it was totally fine. Would recommend you bring an eye mask as gets bright in the rooms in the morning.

There’s no freezer, which I didn’t realise and bought a bag of ice. Feel like even a small freezer would be useful. The beds are cool but if you’re tall hard to sleep on. Could have done with more loo roll.

A good base for a stay in Margate. Ideal for 3 of us.

Location was excellent, right on the sea front. Less than 10mins to the Turner Gallery & also Dreamland. About 15mins walk from the train station with a suitcase. The old town with its excellent bars & restaurants was less than a 5 min walk away, just around the corner. This apartment didn't have sea views as it's at the back of the block, but other ones in this building did. The decor was cool.

Not a complaint, but could be a problem if you have mobility issues: the apartment is up 2 long & steep flights of stairs. It was quite a struggle with a big suitcase. The outside space has no views, & is accessed via the larger bedroom (the pink one with circular bed). It is overlooked by the other apartments in the block. So we had exclusive use of it, but it's not private. The circular bed wasn't ideal for anyone over 6' tall, but it's novel.

Wonderful stay in gorgeous Margate in a beautifully kitsch apartment in the best location imaginable

Amazing decoration, fantastic location, lovely little details.

The only issue was that we found the shower ran out of hot water before the 4 of us could all shower

Fun, colourful beautiful palace

The facilities were good, one bed wasn’t the comfiest and the living room outdoor noise was noisy from 6am. I had to wipe down shelf’s and surfaces and clean pots before use. The apartment was beautiful and lived up to our expectations aesthetically. However, the shower we had to be super quick and switch it on and off while showering to ensure everyone could have hot water as there were 5 of us. All in all we would return if cleanliness standards were better.

The hot water situation in the shower and the cleanliness could have been better.

A total dream

This apartment is a brilliant place to stay with a friend or 3. Its so close to everything Margate has to offer. The decor is just so great, I could cry- it’s like being in a dream. I was worried it couldn’t live up to the photos, but it totally does.

Just a couple of tiny niggles: - the water tastes and smells so weird (like the wax from Babybell), I couldn’t drink it, even in tea, so had to get bottled water in. - it could do with a couple of bedside lights - the heating wasn’t on when we arrived, and it took several hours to warm up enough to take our coats off. - the bed in the shell room is so soft, it’s almost like a waterbed. - the blind in that bedroom was broken (open) when we arrived (and is now broken closed). -supplies were pretty sparse- we ran out of toilet roll and tea during our 3-night stay.

Gorgeous apartment

Beautifully decorated unique apartment, lovely comfy beds. Pretty courtyard to sit out in. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely soft fluffy towels. Spotlessly clean.great location by the seafront and not far from old town and the station

With a bit of TLC and better customer service this place could be exceptional.

The location was excellent - very central in the old town and just a short walk to the station. It had also been decorated really boldly and creatively. It's an instagrammer's dream.

Unfortunately there was really poor communication with the people who run the place - no response at all when I contacted them using the email address and telephone number on their website. Like others have said, check in could have been a little more seamless too. The place could have been cleaner. There were dusty cobwebs on the inside of the windows and parts of the bathroom were really dusty. The carpet in the main bedroom was stained. The fridge needs defrosting and light bulbs in the smaller bedroom need replacing. The shower drain was partially blocked, so you couldn't have the shower on full power or it would start flooding. They say there is enough hot water in the tank for three showers, but we found it ran out after one quick 10 minute shower.

Wonderful. Margate exceeded all expectations .

The location was fantastic and perfect for our trip. Literally across the road from the beach and five minutes walk from dreamland. The apartment itself was clean and the deco fun. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and all the facilities you’d need.

A couple of minor points - didn’t make a big negative impact to our very positive experience. The bath room smells damp. We didn’t use the radiator which may help resolve that. With the very central location it can be a little noisy at night . This really didn’t upset our stay at all.

Perfect for a girls weekend away

Check in was super easy. The property is in an incredible location, so handy and easy to get around town from. The decor was fun and made for a great photo shoot for the birthday girl! We were able to walk to Haeckels spa for treatments and Sargasso for dinner. A great stay for four friends celebrating a 30th.

There were a few little details that would have been great that were missing. Things like bedside lamps, bins in the bedrooms, or kitchen bits like kitchen roll, scissors and a lighter for birthday candles. This would have made the stay a little more comfortable and easy.

Superb

The apartment was super clean. Attention to detail of the theme was amazing! The apartment is gorgeous! Loved the welcome book. Really helpful and good recommendations. Restaurant underneath was out of this world good. Great location would definitely recommend to all my friends.

To be honest it was a lush stay but the round bed was fairly uncomfortable. The bed in the mermaid room was lush though! Would've been a nice touch to have a fan in the apartment because it was super hot in the night. We'd love to stay again but the reason we wouldn't is simply because the next time we want to bring our dog and unfortunately it's not dog friendly.
