I really don't give this house one star review but I'm unable to give it negative stars. This house was the "comparable" house we were relocated to AFTER the house we actually booked, paid for, and confirmed was good for our arrival was actually discovered to be under construction, inhabitable, and unsafe upon our arrival. This house was filthy, carpets were sticky, mattresses need to be replaced (urine stains & beds sink in the middle), microwave oven/exhaust didn't work, oven only had one rack, wifi didn't work at all, overall just vile and not well kept by any means. Do not rent this house, save your money, and prevent your vacation from being ruined. We did not even stay in this house for 24 hours.

The location and size of the property were great. Other than that, the property needs a lot of help. I was told 30 minutes before checking in that the dryer did not work and that somebody would be out in two days to repair it. No one showed up even though I called and messaged several times. There’s a picture of an outside grill, but we were told it does not work, and there was old furniture piled up under the carport. Microwave above the inside oven does not work and neither does the exhaust fan. There is a stand alone microwave on the counter. The house has two bathtubs, but neither one could be used because there were no stoppers. There was no way to bathe our three little kids. I contacted Vacasa several times and they were very nice and polite, but took no action whatsoever. All of the lighting outside was covered with plastic as it was in the process of being painted. I would recommend that the owners come and check out their house and make all the necessary repairs and then switch management companies

We absolutely loved staying here. Very close to the beach and had the perfect layout for our family. Thank you for hosting us.

The house was very nice..it was clean… rooms were a great size. Enjoyed the 3 full bathrooms. Location was great! Was a little disappointed there wasn’t a bbq grill, and the patio chairs on second floor 2 out of the 3 were broken. Other than that everything was great. Living room and dining room kitchen open concept was great… loved the huge kitchen table and huge kitchen/bar counter top. It accommodated my family of 15 very well.
4.3
Exterior is a bit on the rough side but interior is very accommodating. Interior is dated but good basic needs met.

We were looking for a place that was a little out of the chaos, direct beach access with nice accommodations for our extended family. Paradise Everyday hit all those. Clearly they have been making improvements and upgrades to the property and it showed… clean and updated. Even the AC was excellent.
Highly recommend!!

We had a great time here. The house was perfect and the view was breathtaking. Check in was a breeze, and the house had everything we needed. I would definitely suggest bringing loads of mosquito spray because the walk from the house to the beach the mosquitoes will eat you alive! They are not bad if you are just sitting outside on the balcony or if you are actually at the beach. But thru the dunes they are horrible!!! But other than that we would definitely stay here again.
4.3
Great location on the beach. Rooms were nice with a great view. Bring bug spray as the mosquitos were something else!

This location was perfect for our kids and grandkids! The house was lovely, the kitchen was amazing...and that VIEW!!

This was a poor rental. The price we paid for two families to stay here was not worth it in the very least. Roaches in the kitchen, sand everywhere, hair in the showers, toothpaste leftover in the sinks, trash cans outside overflowing, a lot of basic but deferred maintenance was visible. If you’re okay spending three grand for roaches, lumpy beds, moldy couches, but a pretty beach view it’s for you. But not us and it was a disappointment.

Everything was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone - two sofas and chairs and a large dining table. It would be nice if more wash cloths were provided in the bathrooms. There were plenty of towels. The slider in the main bedroom did not lock, so my husband cut a broom handle to fit the bottom slot. We then felt much more secure. Thank you for a very nice vacation.

Large and well stocked home. Has everything you need to cook and enjoy being at the beach. Plenty of room and clean, as well. Vacasa has done a good job of keeping this high traffic home in great shape. Would stay again.

I chose this property for the large windows and the ocean view and it did not disappoint! Fabulous location and just an awesome home!

We loved the location and the house was very nice overall. It was missing a few basic items (functional grill, scissors, bathtub plug, can opener), but the property management company was great and addressed most of the missing items ASAP. We would stay there again.

Wonderful property. Wonderful location. Quick response from VACASA, but without any real solutions to problems causing it not to be worth the price paid.
Before booking this home, make sure they have repaired or replace the ice maker and the shelving situations in the freezer and refrigerator. The lack of shelving along with the absence of ice (causing us to use what little space to facilitate only ice) was a huge problem for a family at the beach. Also, make sure they have restocked basics before renting. It was wonderful, but it is a 40 minute trip one way (minimum) for supplies ….we had to make many for things that wet token or not supplied.

Everything was great, love that you could walk out to the beach or sit on the balcony and watch the waves. It was very peaceful. My children and grandchildren had an awesome time. This was much need family time. This was the first family trip without my husband, their father and grandfather. He passed away February 19, 2023. There was a few minor things that need to be taken care of it was taken care immediately.

For the short time we were there (Friday pm-Sunday am), I never expected to have so many problems. I still haven’t received a phone call (Sun pm) from anyone like I was told several times. Here we go.
First thing when we arrived we let the dogs go potty, and they come back limping. So I start checking both of them & they have sticker burrs all in their paws. I start to pull them out & they are SHARP! After we head up. There were several lights burnt out throughout the entire house and what look like multiple pee stains on the carpets. I call management because there were no beach towels, as listed, in which took over an hour for someone to bring some. After going to the beach and when we were ready to take our showers, we noticed only TWO washcloths were supplied to us in the entire house. While watching tv, I then notice a couch pillow had the entire top seam ripped open where the stuffing was showing. Now on to dinner, we grab pots to cook. Majority of the pans are deeply scratched to hell. The cast iron skillet has so much gunk in it I had to put water in the pan, put it on the stove, and heat it up for it to come off. After getting dinner together, we sit down. There is a bar chair with a broken rail at the bottom. We decide to make some frozen drinks, the blender starts leaking from the bottom as we are using it. The next morning I start the laundry. The washer stopped working with the tub full of water. They send someone out. Later that afternoon, the hall toilet upstairs, starts running. So I take the lid off the tank thinking it’s a quick fix and water starts spraying everywhere. I put the lid back on, shut the water off, I then take the lid off again, and the hose has fallen off and can’t be put back. The entire ‘guts’ assembly looks shot and needs to be replaced, so I call….again. 3 hours later-no one shows up or calls back. I call again to be told everyone is busy and can’t get to it until the next day. So, 9 people who were upstairs will have to use the master bathroom. In the master-the towel rack was hanging half off of the wall. I was told someone was going to call me about my issues to discuss a partial refund for the issues, and that has not yet happened. The house itself is beautiful but when you have all these issues, it takes away from that.

Great things: location!!! This house is beautifully situated right on the beach with a wonderful porch and rocking chairs to sit back and enjoy the amazing views! The house is wonderfully laid out with enough room for 12-14 people in beds. The kitchen has dishes, spices and pots/pans to suit most cooking needs. The home has cable in the living room which is a nice perk when most places want you to sign into your own streaming service.
Not so great things: the house needs a thorough cleaning. All of the vents are filthy, some with what appears to be mold. Same thing with the curtains - dirty, some with mold. While the sheets were clean, the coverlet in the master bedroom reeked of the previous renters’ cologne/perfume. Other stuff we noticed: The furniture is worn and has definitely seen better days. No oven mitts so we had to use bath towels to remove stuff from the stove. The porch and backyard need some TLC (painting and mowing). There are big beautiful windows facing the gulf which you’re able to view when you open all the curtains, the windows being clean/clear would’ve been nice.
A good cleaner and a few updates would remedy these items VERY easily and may not even matter to the guest who plan to spend most of their time at the beach.
Things to be aware of: The house is a solid 15-20 minute drive to the grocery store, which due to the remote nature, is very expensive (but nicely stocked). So, would strongly advocate for getting all your grocery shopping done in advance if being cost conscious is a concern or be prepared for the 30-45 minute drive back to the seawall for a larger grocery store. Same with food delivery - Uber eats, door dash don’t deliver here; you’ll have to order from one of the local pizzeria places.
Beautiful home and surroundings, you won’t be disappointed.

The view of the Gulf is exceptional.

The house is very cute. Absolutely loved the giant dining table and open kitchen for family get together. House was mostly clean. Kitchen was not as stocked as stated but we made due. Several things broken: kitchen faucet leaked, no plug in the bath tub upstairs, sinks in master don’t drain, microwave above stove doesn’t have a light or vent (there is a microwave on counter that works), ice maker doesn’t work (they did leave ice though). The beach is a drive out beach so it was much busier than we prefer. But overall a great stay! House layout was great for kids and families!
4.3
This house is very large with plenty of room for big groups. Also had everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. It's far from the crowds of galveston but not too far from a small grocery store and bait shop. Super easy beach access.
4.3
We really enjoy our stay. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable.
4.3
We had a great stay at the house. Perfect space for our group, and location was away from the crowds. The house has a great layout - big kitchen and dining table, and nice new picnic tables. All of the rooms are great sizes. Plenty of bathrooms and having the half bath was nice. Only issue was both sinks in the master bathroom took forever to drain. But this is one of the nicer beach homes we have rented and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
4.3
Such a nice beach house!!! Very spacious and just minutes to the beach!
4.3
Very clean, great location. A little dated with nice bathrooms and kitchen. Master bedroom sinks clogged - but nobody can beat a home literally on the beach with that wonderful ocean sound and breeze. A good weekend.
4.3
Great location away from crowded beach. Newer home with many luxuries. Very well stocked and also had many beach toys for the kids.
4.3
Trash bins were full when we arrived and smelt awful, first thing you see and walk by. Master balcony door did not lock, husband had to fix it due to safety concern for our toddler. Power in three rooms did not work first evening we were there. We were told ticket would be escalated but nobody called until next day. Sinks were plugged and one in master leaked on towels that were stored, husband had to fix pipes. One of pull out beds under bunk had urine stain. Towels from previous renters were left out on top balcony, and in bedroom.
4.3
Coffee maker did not work, mold on the curtains, microwave was broken, grill was broken, AC only works upstairs, kitchen appliances, broken chairs outside, and small appliances very dirty and greasy. Not a good vacation.
4.3
Seemed like a rushed cleaning job. Details need to be address. Windows need to be cleaned, exhaust fans are dusty, etc.

Our friends live about a mile down the road on 3005 so this was great. Just make sure you bring what you need, the closest store 7 seas is double the price of in town groceries.

Wonderful getaway
This house is clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We were minus 4 people due to covid so it felt extra luxurious. The floorplan was ideal for our family because my parents had a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, which gave my daddy's aching knees a break. My kids LOVED their room. There are bunks and trundles for 6 kids. We'll be back next year, I hope.
