The house was beautiful and clean. Easy bike ride to the beach with plenty of bikes available for all of us. There were plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards which was great to have as well. A little slow getting response from rental company. One shower was not working which was inconvenient but we made it work. The amenities listed that there was a fusbal table at the house and a basketball court in the community but we did not see either but we had plenty to do so not an huge deal. Overall great trip!!

Very clean. Super easy check in and check out. Much to do in the area and located and house is located only a few minutes from the beach.
4.0 / 5.0
Didn't get a text to enter until after the checkin time and housekeeping was mediocre. I realize we are at the beach but we had to sweep up sand upon arrival due to how gritty it was on the floors. Trash left under bunkbeds and in outside shower. Cleaning crew came next day to clean shower. We did other since we had kids in a room with left open drinks and didn't want them to try and drink it.
It was a bit of a walk (which we knew) to the beach but not pleasant with kids and all the beach things. Adults only trip would have been fine.
Great house layout (be mindful of steps) and had a great stocked kitchen.

Great location in Corolla for us! We enjoyed using this house as our “family moon” week long vacation! Great space for all of us and loved the amenities it offered! Definitely hope to be able to stay again!

The house was clean and perfect for our family vacation. The community pool was an added plus. The walk to the beach was about 5-10 minutes.
5.0 / 5.0
Easy checkin, close walk to the beach, lots of beach accessories (bikes, chairs, beach wagon, boogie boards etc). Instructions would have been helpful for TV, devices since remotes were scattered and not matched to the room.

Excellent Stay
Had a wonderful stay at Cruisin’ the dunes. Very comfortable. Loved having the bikes available. The pool table was a hit with the boys. The girls loved soaking in the hot tub after biking and walking the beach. Perfect weather all week! Highly recommend. Also recommend the outerbanks boil company! We had a great meal!

Not as expected
House is nice and in good condition but needs a deep cleaning top to bottom. We arrived after the 5pm checkin time and the housecleaner was still working. Sasquatch and family must have stayed the week before us. In addition to the mess they left, they left a horrendous amount of both people and dog hair and lots of large dog piles in the small courtyard. I didn't expect to spend the first night of my vacation cleaning. Management company did send someone back out to reclean as requested. Expected to be able to use the hot tub but if we could get the temperature up the bubbles would not come on. When we managed to get the jets working the water was cold. Teenager did expect an air hockey table,, but instead there is a new pool table. Listing needs to be updated. It is nicely insulated so you don't hear any noise from neighbors. Nice walkways to the beach. Lots of steps...be prepared.

Great house, great location
Our family enjoyed this home immensely. House was comfortable (though full!) with two families of 5, and a set of grandparents. House is newer, clean, and well-stocked. A couple of points that might be useful:
1) This home is a quick/easy walk to the beach. For in-shape adults it’s about a 7-8 minute walk. For my 80-year old father, it was about a 12-13 minute walk.
2) House came with 2 rolls of paper towels, a small container of dish soap, 3 laundry pods, lots of dishwasher pods, and about 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. I like knowing this for planning purposes. :)
3) There are no beach towels, so plan accordingly!
4) It will be hard to come up with a kitchen appliance that isn’t provided - crock pot, blender, Keurig, regular coffee pot maker, etc.
5) There are tons of boogie boards and bikes of various sizes. There are also a couple of shovels and sand pails, as well as balls. There are 4 adult-sized beach chairs, and two beach buggies. We’ve now rented 5 houses on the OBX, and never had this much stuff provided for use!
Only thing this house lacks is a view, but that wasn’t high priority for us. One other note: We had an issue with the clothes dryer. Called the property management company, and they had someone on site to fix it in 2 hours. Great service!

Thank you for a great week in Corolla! After a long year + it was great to get back to the OBX. This is certainly our happy place. I always like to give as much information as possible for the next person.
The pros: a very nice, clean house and very close to the community pool, basketball and shuffleboard. The ice cream truck stopped every night in front of the house. There is beach gear here to use. If you are traveling with a large group and everyone wants a chair, there are 6 Beach chairs so you need to bring more. There are ton of bikes and 2 Beach buggies in the garage with a ton of boogie boards, shovels, pales and all other Beach toys. Every bedroom has a TV and there is a Sonos speaker in multiple places. A/C works well through out the whole house. Outdoor shower is private and has hot and cold water. Plenty of board games and puzzles but beware, every puzzle is missing pieces.
The cons: this is Northern Corolla so be prepared for a lot of traffic and a good ride from the by-pass. Only 2 minutes from Currituck light. The grill was filthy and we spent an hour taking it apart to clean it after our first use. This home is in a planned community so there is no privacy. You have privacy fencing around your yard but people are always looking at you from their decks. If you are sitting on either deck you are looking at each other too. While there are a ton of bikes (not the owners fault) previous renters have beaten them up really bad and we spent more time then we should of fixing them throughout the week. Again, not the owners fault; there was dog waste all over the yard, the previous renters should have cleaned up after the dog so that we didn't have to. We stayed away from the hot tub, it got cool enough in the evenings to use it but the cover was shot and the tub was full of dirt. Having one at home,, they are not hard to clean.. The flies were horribly relentless, I have never had that problem in Corolla and we have been here many times, we had a 1 day reprieve during tropical storm Elsa then right back to swatting the nasty buggers and covering food and beverages outside. We are a family of 10 with 6 teenagers between myself and my brother. The listing says it sleeps 12 but that would be really tight and require you using the pull out sofa in the game room which is the lower level of the house. The pool table/air hockey was broken so we had to use stools to prop it up as level as possible. Yes there is a boardwalk to the beach however its a 2 minute bike ride or a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Ocean. We transported all the beach equipment in my truck but to drive down equally takes 10 minutes (round trip with no parking there) because of the way the roads are laid out. We ended up using the pool more than the beach just because of the logistics of it all. Regardless, we had a great week with family and are grateful to be back in our happy place again. We wish the owners many years of success with the property.

Wonderful Property!
The house was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The garage was stocked with bicycles, boogie boards, sand toys, a beach cart, and more. We did not use the community pool, but it looked very nice. The beach was a short, easy stroll away. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Overall good, bummed about hot tub.
The house was great for a weekend away with family. Lots of games and a well stocked kitchen. We were only disappointed by the hot tub, which didn’t work well for our stay. The maintenance team was helpful in getting a hot tub guy out there the first morning we noticed it wouldn’t turn on and he “fixed” it, but we couldn’t get the temperature of the hot tub to go above 97 degrees for the remaining two days of our stay, which we did make a follow up call about and the hot tub guy said it would just take a while to get the temp up but that everything was working. Thought after 40 hours it might have gone up! The hot tub was one if the main reasons we chose the place for the weekend, so we were pretty bummed it never got hot. Otherwise the home is beautiful and was clean (aside from a lot of hair on the master bathroom floor). Still, we are giving it 5 stars for a great spot in a great location in Corolla. The check in process was easy and it was great to be able to bring the dogs with us. We were able to drive around on the beaches even though the weather was miserably cold windy and rainy, we made the most of it!

We stayed February 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed this home. Having never visited the OBX during the winter, I was mildly afraid that we might get bored when stuck indoors but this house is equipped for boredom prevention! We play some of the TONS of board games that are provided, plus the throw-back Atari game system. We had sweat inspiring air hockey matches and knocked around some pool balls. TVs in every room allowed us to individually choose what we wanted to watch. And that kitchen is AWESOME. Plenty of room for several people and incredibly well stocked with whatever you needed! The hot tub was great and the proximity to the beach made it a pleasant stroll. During the summer, this place will be amazing, close to the bike path AND provides bikes to use?! Beach chairs/equipment including 2 beach wagons! The community pool is right beside the house, plus basketball court and volleyball net. You just can't wrong here - loved it!Recommendations? Ummm, I have to greet really nit-picky to come up with those. My number one will be the fireplace. I expected to enjoy the fireplace (advertised as gas) but it was electric and NO HEAT came from it. Just pretty lights of fake fire. I missed having a jetted bath tub at this house - but no house can have EVERYTHING! And there was only one "chip clip" to be found for closing half eaten bags of chips and snacks. That's it! The only things any of us found lacking in a whole week stay with vacationers that visit the OBX at least once a year for 1-2 weeks! Color us impressed

Good location
We enjoyed our visit- 5 minute walk to beach and great bike paths. Close to bakery and few other small shops- seemed like less touristy area, which I wanted. Appreciated beach supplies provided. Coffee maker didn’t work and dishwasher needs to be cleaned or replaced to better clean/ dry dishes. Also, would be nice to have screens in all windows to enjoy sea breezes. Took a time to receive WiFi access, as provided info was not up to date. But, overall well stocked kitchen and spacious home. I would recommend.

Relaxing beach getaway
Our trip was an awesome getaway. Check in was seamless receiving the door code before we even arrived. The house was very clean and well kept. Beach was an easy 5-7 minute walk away. Loved having the grill and the hot tub in the backyard. Only issue was the bike lock code was not up to date and we never heard back from the rental company on the new code. Other than that everything was perfect. Would highly recommend staying here.

A VACATION CUT SHORT
We would recommend this property. The property was very clean and very well stocked. Unfortunately our stay was cut short because of hurricane Dorian. We have a claim in now. Hopefully this will be as easy as the rest of the trip.
