Excellent location and historic building- enjoyed the garden off the apartment. Beds comfortable. The only negative would be limited light as the only window is the top half of the door exiting to the garden.

Everything in the home was beautiful... Lots of amenities and nice quiet block

The place was great and quiet inside the apartment. It was easy to use for myself and my dad who was in a wheelchair and allowed us to stay up different times as we battled the opposing coast jet lag with the quiet separate rooms. Front staff was helpful and friendly. Access to parking was a bonus.

To come from somewhere that is not close to being rural, we enjoyed our stay. Most of the things were new to me, but we managed. Appreciate the Host that was always replying every time I needed help.

The building is good, location is good, and we felt safe and comfortable at first. Unfortunately after this stay, I would not stay here or at this any of this property owner’s properties again. The first night, we discovered one of the toilets was malfunctioning and wouldn’t flush. I contacted the owner and she said she would have maintenance come ASAP to check out the toilet. Two full days passed and no one came and I didn’t receive any updates. This was an inconvenience and frustrating but normally would not be enough for me to justify writing a bad review. However, on our second to last morning I woke up with multiple bug bites and noticed a bed bug in the sheets. I sent photos of the bites and a live photo of the bug to the host, who seemed understanding and professional about this at first. She offered to refund us our last night so we could get a hotel because I did not feel comfortable sleeping there another night. We weren’t refunded that day and even if we were, it would not be enough to cover a hotel, the additional transportation we needed to buy, the clothes we lost because we didn’t want to bring home bed bugs, or most of the last day of our trip which we had to cancel plans and launder our clothes and inspect our luggage. The host maintained that I was bitten by “a bug” and was careful not to admit to having a bed bug problem. She said she would have an investigation done with pest control and would follow up with me. She did not follow up with me or refund the last night until I followed up with her multiple times directly and through VRBO support. The bug in the photo I sent her (that had the date and location because it was taken on my iphone) is obviously a bed bug. This honestly was such a bad experience with this individual VRBO and with VRBO that if I can avoid it I don’t want to stay at a VRBO again.

I really enjoyed this rental. I stay in this building often and this is one of my favorite apartments by far! The access to the courtyard is great. The only thing to be aware of is that there are no windows in the bedrooms. I felt that the lack of windows made for a great sleep. The bathroom is very large as are the bedrooms. The only reason it lost a star was that there was a hole in a closet door and scuff marks on one of the walls. I will definitely be staying here again.
4.6
The apartment is sufficiently large and comfortable. Lack of windows in both bedrooms was surprising, but ventilation was quite good, so it did not cause problems.
There have been several small things missing or broken at the apartment to the extent, that if it were my apartment, I would not rent it without fixing or replacing them first. The owner was very responsive in acknowledging all the issues and taking care of some of them. Others needed more time to respond to than the duration of our stay.

My kids and I traveled from Chicago for a week of SI at the Rock School. We booked well in advance but arrived at 10:30 at night, & I hadn't received check in instructions so I reached out to the host. While awaiting a response, I parked on the street, walked up the stairs & into the lobby, stepping over condom wrappers & needles, to the desk. There was a man sitting on one of the couches talking to himself & picking at his face. I couldn't get too close to the desk attendant because there was trash everywhere; bags of trash, boxes of trash, trash on the ground & the counter was covered in trash. The place smelled awful. The host messaged me back & sent the check in instructions. The unit was located near the desk & I entered it with the instructions provided by the host.
The unit looked nothing like the photos; it appeared those photos were taken decades earlier and/or photoshopped to make the unit appear brighter, cleaner and newer than what it actually is. The unit smelled foul & there was a lot of yelling upstairs. The front door had only a yale lock; the chain had been broken off. I went out to the desk to ask where the parking garage was located & the attendant gave me instructions on how to get there. After which, he said he was new & couldn't help much but that I shouldn't go into the garage alone because it wasn't safe.
I drove my car around & entered the garage, it was unlit, windows broken out, & very dark. We drove up to the second floor & were surprised to see a man urinating onto the hood of a car, but proceeded to the third floor where the host instructed us to park. I unloaded our suitcases, & kept my children close as we watched the video and followed its instruction to get though the dark passageways & over to the unit . My kids were scared and so was I.
We got into the unit and I contacted the host stating the unit wasn't what was advertised & that it was unacceptable and unsafe. The host didn't respond. Suddenly, screams from the surrounding units sent my 3 kids running into my arms. At 11:45pm, I called customer service for help & I made hotel reservations for the week. I notified the host that I would be leaving in the morning. That night my kids & I sat awake & frightened as people screamed & pounded above us. Early in the morning, I left the unit exactly as I'd found it & moved to a hotel.
I've been fighting for a refund for over 2 weeks. I have requested the host refund me; the host ignores all messages & requests.

Two bedroom, two baths was great. Close to stores and a restaurant. Laundry in unit was a bonus.

Excellent Time and Location!
Overall, this stay was excellent! The location was walking distance to locations was excellent! And, it it was very clean.
That being said, here are some areas for improvement:
1. Not enough towels were provided. We had to use our own towels we provided.
2. The front desk area is a disaster. Packages were everywhere and it is not clean. The picture makes it look very appealing, but it is not. It is a complete eye sore for the building.
3. The parking location is great. However, it is a hike to get to the apartment. There is no elevator so you are walking down the ramp or lugging bags down flights of stairs.
4. The apartment could use a good coat of paint and some overall maintenance.

Philly Trip
This place is great place to stay, in a nice location. We loved the garden area, and koi ponds. It’s close to a Target for all your shopping needs. We used a nearby subway station and we got right into the stadium for a concert. Also easy to get to City Hall and see the sights. We would definitely try to stay here again on our visit, thanks for making our trip memorable!

My family and l stayed 3 nights, total of 6 people. We found it conveniently located for most things, especially considering the off street parking. I really appreciated the video instructions on parking lot to condo. We were able to easily walk to the historic district and walk home from Reading Market. We made a trip to the Target next door just about every day for groceries. The condo has an ice cream scoop! There is a Starbucks, chipotle and Popeyes very close. Don’t hesitate to book your vacation here and enjoy your stay! Sheets are very comfy. 🙂

Great place to stay for a few days
My mother and I spent a few days in Philadelphia and rented this unit. It was clean, nicely located, and very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed this place. The parking is a blessing, we parked when we arrived and didn’t move the car until it was time to check out. Our renters were very good at checking in on us and making sure we were well taken care of.

Conveniently located one block from the subway! Took just minutes to get to Citizens Bank Park. Parking was a breeze! We had two cars so the other car we put in a garage two blocks away for $24/day. Building was very nice, beautiful courtyard and friendly 24 hour reception. Great restaurants within walking distance (go to Pho75 if you can)! Target and Starbucks next door. Had a great time! Thanks!

Garden in the City
We stayed with friends over Memorial Weekend, choosing this location because of the 2BD/2BA set up and being just a few blocks away from their daughter. You can't beat the location being right on Broad Street. There is a Target, Starbucks and a Sprouts grocery just across the street; as well as a wine & spirits store if you need that.
The unit is walkable to the Italian Market which we highly recommend stopping at Di Bruno Bros. for excellent cheese, Anthony's Italian Coffee house for the BEST cannoli and Talluto's for the best pasta. You are also a block or less from entry to the subway, which we used to go to a Philly's game. Citizens Bank Park is one of the nicest ballparks.
The unit is perfect size for 4 people with privacy. We made coffee every morning (uses large cone filters and ground coffee which we brought with us). And kept our water cold in the frig (there is a filtered water pitcher). There is enough cups and mugs for everyone. We didn't do much cooking in the unit but did enjoy wine and cheese and fresh items we bought from the Sprouts grocery store.
We very much enjoyed having access to the building's garden and Koi ponds. We would head out regularly to see if we could spot the 2 turtles sunning themselves. The foliage is beautiful making us jealous of the plants we cannot keep at our home in Michigan.
The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Bathrooms came with shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap which we didn't use, as we brought our own but it was nice to have as an option.
Check in and out was super easy. The unit owners were great about sending information to access the unit (they even have YouTube videos) and throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed.
The only issue we ran into was operating the Google Nest thermostat. We were not familiar with how to operate them, so we could get the air conditioning to run cooler. Once we figured out to tap and slide on the side of the mechanism, we were all set.
The unit had a few cosmetic blemishes that a fresh coat of paint would cure, but don't we all in our own homes, so that didn't bother us in the least. The buildings lobby attendants work long hours so they may not be first to greet you, but be sure to engage with them. My husband would ask them how they were doing whenever we came and went and they would brighten right up.
We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Friendly and accomodating property owners, beautiful location, enjoyable patio with coy pond. Very close to grocery store (one block), Target, Starbucks. Quick 5 minute trip to many of Philadephia's tourist sites. Perfect location for my family's visit to see the museums and historical sites! We will stay here again in the future!

Perfect!
Our stay could not have been better! The check in and check out process were very easy. The condo was cozy and the location was just what we were looking for! There were only 2 of us but there was plenty of room for approx. 2 more. Having a Target right across the street was the icing on the cake. There are quite a few flights of stairs to get to the designated parking area.
4.6
The unit was very clean and the hosts were excellent and responsive. We chose it for proximity to relatives a 10 minute walk away and the neighborhood is easy to get around, and pretty close to the airport. A Target and Sprouts Grocery are conveniently located across the street. It's not obvious from the pictures, but there are no windows in either of of the bedrooms, and only a door in the living room; making the unit much darker than it appears in the photos.

Spacious Alternative to Hotel Stay
This space is fully equipped with a kitchen and laundry/ dryer, so it offers much more than your typical hotel room. It is conveniently located in downtown Philadelphia, so you can get to and from many common destinations within minutes.
As far as the interior elements go, the apartment has both a contemporary and urban charm.
The only drawback is the parking situation. The parking garage was poorly lit and I didn’t feel super comfortable there at night (but also note that it is secured by key card and not a public space). I’m not sure if handicap accommodations can be arranged with the host of the apartment, but from the parking level that we were assigned (Level 3), there was no handicap accessibility whatsoever. We had to park in the front of the building to get my handicap family member to our vehicle. This was a bit stressful considering the traffic of Broad Street and the almost constant lack of empty spaces in front of the building.
Overall, this space is a decent alternative to a pricy inner-city hotel room, but be aware that the parking situation isn’t the most seamless, especially if you are traveling with handicap individuals. It’s definitely an attractive apartment with many perks, and I enjoyed my stay.

Great little spot in South Philly
The apartment was clean and spacious - and the parking garage was a life saver. The neighborhood has many little shops and restaurants, but you can tell the area's still developing. I felt safe and comfortable with my family.

We stayed over Christmas, my husband and our two kids. Everything was wonderful! Elizabeth and Michael were super responsive and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. It was a bit further from some of the stuff to do with the kids but we made it work!

Beds are very comfortable and property is well maintained and clean.

Pleasant and safe stay 1 mile from Center City. Convenient access, especially to pick up essentials/groceries. Found some worthwhile restaurants within a short distance: Flannel, Devil's Den, Vista Peru. Friendly building staff and convenient onsite parking. Direct access to courtyard was especially nice. Elizabeth was thoughtful and provided excellent communication. Would stay here again.
