A very good night's stay.

Attention to detail throughout. Welcoming owners and staff. Clean room with a lovely shower. Food made with quality locally sourced ingredients , and tasted lovely.

Would have liked to stay longer if it was possible, as we had only booked one night there.

Would definitely stay again.

Great location for exploring Norfolk, lovely garden, relaxed atmosphere, tasty food and friendly staff. Room was well appointed, comfortable and attractive decor.

The road noise. Although only occasional traffic, with the roof lights open at night the sound of a vehicle was magnified.

Brilliant stay overall, Charlie was great and we had a chilled afternoon on Sunday with a lovely roast and great live mu

Ideal perfect for the north Norfolk area attractions. Staff - especially Charles/Charlie was awesome.

Friday evening meal, think there was a lack of communication between staff and we waited a long time before being asked about desserts menu.

All round great place to stay and have a meal. Will be back!

Staff excellent food and choice of very good Great breakfast. Just brilliant all round 😁

For such a good place was let down very slightly by the towels in the room. They could have been a bit more luxurious but I am really struggling to find anything negative to say!

Excellent Accommodation and Facilities.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The room was bright and spacious with a modern en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful - we had a very enjoyable stay!

It was quite expensive for a two-nights' stay in a B&B, but the standard was excellent.

Brilliant!!

Breakfast was very good, staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough and it was great for what I wanted. I also travelled back from the days out to eat.

Amazing stay, spacious, clean and modern rooms and really friendly staff.

We booked last minute as we decided to stay overnight. The rooms were very clean and modern, and the staff was amazing and polite. The whole building has a friendly and calm atmosphere. 100% recommended. Not to forget, the breakfast was delicious 😋

A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

A well presented spacious pub/restaurant. Lovely garden and plenty of parking. Staff were extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and the service provided throughout our stay was excellent and consistent. Room was furnished and presented to an extremely high standard and certainly exceeded our expectations. Good selection of food and drink. All meals taken (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were also well presented and produced to a high standard using quality products. Overall, we enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay and will definitely return.

Lovely place to stay - definitely recommend.

Lovely room, beautifully decorated, new bathroom with great shower. Mattress felt like it had seen better days (saggy). Staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast menu was huge and looked lovely but breakfast didn't start until 8am and I had an early appointment to get to so wasn't able to make use of it.

Ordered fish & chips for dinner and the skin was left on the battered fish which was a tad disappointing and I'm a huge fan of Pinot Grigio and it wasn't a good one unfortunately. However, lovely atmosphere and staff in the pub so enjoyed my evening.

Room excellent. Large comfortable bed. Very roomy. Food of a good standard. The lady in charge was very efficient and coped with a busy evening service.

Cold water tap in bathroom not working. Milk at breakfast was on the buffet table which meant several trips when you have more than one cup of tea. Suggest some small jugs could be put on buffet table so individuals could take a jug of milk back to their own table.

This place is a find, very comfortable room, the bed was huge and lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, beer garden huge and well presented. Breakfast is great value and good quality. Very close to the north Norfolk coast and the lovely town of Holt.

We had a mushroom starter and a crab timbale. The crab lacked flavour as did the seafood linguine. The lamb was good but also needed seasoning and I never season food.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well equipped, clean and we'll decorated. We wanted for nothing in the rooms Breakfast menu is excellent

The evening menu choices weren't as varied as we would have liked.

A good stop over when visiting north Norfolk

A very good country pub, well appointed, comfortable and friendly staff. The food selection is small but wide ranging and the breakfast is hearty. Plenty of parking and a good location if visiting north Norfolk.
