The location was good.
I reserved 2 king sized bed rooms and when I got there at 4 pm to check in they said they only had 2 queen sized beds. It didn’t seem to matter that I had reserved rooms Also housekeeping started knocking on our door @. 8 am. I get up every morning at5:30 this was my chance to sleep late So we put out a do not disturb sign Then my husband left the room around 10 am to go downstairs and take one bag to the car. The next thing I know the housekeeper is opening the door that still has the do not disturb sign on. I appreciate her eagerness to clean but this was a little excessive. The outlets also did not work in our room.

Restaurant on site was pricy and limited food selection but overall a good experience

The staff is very friendly and helpful
The decor is stylish.
I love the gym and pool.
The only thing I’d say needs improvement are the pillows and sheets. We had some sheets with holes in them and the pillows were way too soft. They need a variety of pillows for different sleepers.

We stayed at this property to be close to the UNC Charlotte Football game. It's a great location and nice property. Walking distance to the field. The front desk staff were kind. The outdoor pool was nice.
The rooms were not ready on time. For the price we paid for this hotel, we expect excellent service and accomodations. We wanted to enjoy some down time before the game and wasn't able to do that. That is very frustrating again for the price we paid. There are many other properties near campus so I'm not sure we will be staying here again. The coffee bar downstairs never had an attendant so we couldn't have drinks made. The breakfast was good but it took a long time to be seated and to get our food.

The room was nice enough.
The staff were courteous at the front desk.
The bar and restaurant staff were exemplary.
The food in the restaurant was amazing.
I was not expecting to be billed on a daily basis. Not really a problem but the numbers did not make sense. Read on...
1. the corp card co would send me an sms on the first couple of days to say that a nightly room fee was deducted from my card
2. This plus an airfare and other charges had push the card to near its credit limit. About AU$2000 left.
3. Suddenly a charge of US$1900 was applied and rejected. FOUR TIMES in one day. I didn't pay attention but planned to ask about it in the morning. Still adjusting to the east Coast time zone, i took a sleeping pill to try and get some sleep.
4. At 10:30pm i was woken up by a security guard banging on the door to tell me i had been summoned to reception. If you have ever taken a sleeping pill (this was only the second time ever for me) you might know how it feels to have to get up and move 20 mins into sleep.
5. The two staff on the desk (a manager and a clerk) could not explain why the large single charge was made and simply said "that is how the system works when we run our report."
6. I was then informed that "we can let you back into your room" (I wasn't aware not getting back in was a possibility) but i had to "sort it out in the morning"
7. The next morning there was no record of the large charge (I can show to my record of it) and the reception clerk said i would just continue to be billed at the nightly rate. I never reached the limit of the credit card.
8. The most frustrating thing was being dragged downstairs "to the principals office" for something that could have been resolved over the phone earlier in the day, or by call to the phone in the room (I checked - it works). Security guards would be my last resort. Not my first.
9. I asked if I could have some laundry done. I told the desk that I had left a bag of laundry in the room and the reception clerk made a note. It was never done.

It was clean hotel with a nice pool and exercise room. The bar was nice with good bartenders. The valets were very helpful too. Good location as even though it wasn’t right in downtown had a short train ride. Train right in front. Plenty of places to walk to too.
When we arrived the front desk just stared at us and the person who was to help us said his computer was frozen which is fine. But 2 other people just stared and didn’t offer to help us check in. Very uncomfortable. The parking was odd, never had to stay in a lot not owned by the hotel. It was right there but you had to pay.

The Valet service was phenomenal. Check in and drop off was easy and pleasant. It was extremely close to PNC as advertised/expected. Excellent area for shopping and food.
The air A/C would not stop running on auto no matter where you set the temperature. It was 63 in our room and just had to turn it off and on.

Some of front desk staff was very rude, inconsiderate, and unwilling to assist. Customer service was very poor!

The area is in walking distance to a lot of eateries. Quiet environment, friendly staff, very accommodating to your needs as the guest. I will always book here anytime I visit Charlotte.
I can’t seem to find any flaws.

The shower did no drain and the water was in the tub all night. we called the front desk twice and they said they were coming and no one came. we asked for blankets and bottles of water three times and no one brought it to our room. The service was poor and it was not worth 340.00 a night. We were very disappointed.

great location to campus for a campus tour.
Our refrigerator did not work and when we asked about it, we were sent a maintenance worker that told us that it was working and we were wrong that all of our items were not cold. The front desk told me they would “make a note of it” but nothing was done about it. Also, the walls were so thin that after midnight we had to knock on our neighbors door and ask them if they could keep it down. We could hear every word they said through the walls.
