Let the coronation begin for the ocean view Sea King. This huge 4000+-square-foot luxury home has royal blood. The ground level has great parking, under house entry, close pedestrian beach access, and a private unheated 32-foot-by-14-foot pool with furnished sun decks. Everything about the Sea King is super-sized. The first level has a large storage area, two large bedrooms and a full bath on the hall. On the second level, with its bubbly hot tub on the wide deck, each bedroom has a private bath, and bedrooms four and five are ocean view with deck access. Bedroom six has deck access. The upstairs great room with tall ceilings, stately furniture, and good ocean views is fit for the king’s entourage. The well-equipped kitchen with tiled floors, breakfast bar, pantry, and nearby dining is ready for any appetite. Wide decks circle the main bedroom on the East and South sides and end in a covered deck. Stately nights are assured in the 'king's' suite with an en suite bathroom, plus hot tub and deck access.

I was fairly disappointed with this home. We visit the banks every year and this house was by for the worst. It is a beautiful home and very spacious but needs major improvements. When we arrived there was a note on the washer stating it leaked. Which was a huge understatement. After 2 visits from maintenance we were told it was broke and would have to be replaced but that would not happen during our visit. Almost every external door handle in the house was broken and in our room the door would not even stay shut because of a broken handle. Door handles would come completely off in the living room area. Maintenance came worked on some things and was supposed to return but never did. We had a family member get stuck in a room d/t a broken internal door. They did fix that. The house states it has an elevator but does not state that it is outside on the deck. This made it very difficult for some of our family members that struggle with stairs. The decking around the house is in extremely bad shape. Our shower would hardly drain and would fill almost completely up before we could get a shower. The hot water upstairs would barely get hot. It was not even hot enough to bathe our granddaughter in. It is very spacious and in a wonderful location. But all of the bad definitely out weighed the good. We will not stay at this house again in the future. There was an extreme amount of poison oak/ivy around the pool in which my granddaughter was covered in by the time we left. Definitely needs better yard care. The main couch in the living area was broken and while it was electric the plug did not reach the wall.

Not for handicap accessible even though had elevator. House was very roomy. We did like ice maker. That was great. Bedroom layout was very good. We did have a good week.

The view and convenient location is great. Grocery store and dollar store very close along with coffee shops. Also a very quick bike ride to a very cool trail to the sound. Not a fancy house if that’s what you need but very spacious. Location, size and well stocked kitchen is what is important to our families.

Price of house was reasonable.
Furniture in living room was comfortable minus one recliner being broken.
Kitchen chairs very outdated.
Twin beds were broken.
Sitting on blocks.
Ceiling in stair well leaked and dropped pieces of ceiling on to the floor.
Both doors in living area leaked had to use towels to keep water out of floor.
Dead files were on countertops when we arrived had to be cleaned.
Candy papers were on floor in master bedroom.
Not very well cleaned at all.

Plenty of rooms and we loved those that had beach access. Beautiful scenery and grand living room holds the entire family. Definitely worth the trip.

Great house for a large family. Unfortunately the pictures are not current so don't go by the green/blue furniture as it is not there. Has one large sectional. Kitchen needs some work with additional silverware and utensils and could use a second refrigerator but worked ok for our large group. Pool and hot tub were a hit! The large ice machine on the bottom floor was perfect!!

Hopefully, it was “end-of-seasonal things that need some TLC. Broken blinds, knobs off cabinets, a shower that sprayed straight up, broken shelf, light bulbs out and and dirty rugs. Also, some plaster fell down which we were told is a roof leak. Bring your own wine glasses as there were none. Vacasa sent someone within an hour and the shower was fixed so that was terrific! Given these things, the fees were a bit high. The house itself, the pool and the location were terrific. The cleaning crew did a good job.

Sitting directly between the shopping center and ocean was a perfect location for our group. However, the home has many maintenance issues, several being safety concerns.
• Deplorable grill - poor condition, dangerous worn burners result in high flame up which present serious fire hazard
• Rain water pours down front of elevator shaft and over door and call buttons. Doors are warped and difficult to open.
• 3rd floor door to decking on right (facing ocean) does not lock
• Main kitchen sink has leak with standing water under the sink
• Leak in roof – center stairwell
• Leak from AC – “dining room” ceiling
• Broken cabinet shelving in lower kitchen cabinet
• Broken/missing cabinet handles
• House really needs two refrigerators, and the one available in the kitchen is tiny for a home used by 14 people. Also, we found kitchen refrigerator to have a broken/jagged edged left bottom drawer.
• Roach issue – seen on floors 1 and 3
• Ant issue under house
• Main hose faucet handle very difficult to shut off
• No service to pool or hot tub during week
• Basketball goal is broken
• Outside shower head missing on one of the showers
• Many lights had no light bulbs or those that did were burnt out

• Carpets need cleaning in high traffic areas
• Beach house kitchen requires a large stock pot

There clearly needs to be work done on the home such as the roof is clearly leaking with visible damage to the ceiling in the main room. Bugs aplenty in the home and it was not overly clean. Also the upstairs air conditioner broke near the end of the week but was quickly fixed the next day. I would not want to buy this home as there are many items to fix and the upkeep seems enormous.

The location (one house back from the ocean and right across from Food Lion) and the price makes this house a great choice! It's a little on the older side and parts of the house show it but nothing that is a deal-breaker, and there are some furniture updates this year that provides some freshness to the house. Thanks for a great helping us create life-long memories!
