Absolutely horrible host and should be removed. He stated via email there was a driveway when I questioned the email that said we could use 1 community parking spot. Then after telling me multiple times there was parking in front of the house

The property was dirty, smelled and the kitchen had ants. The view was nice of downtown Kansas City.

It was good overall, the only thing that would help improve it it would be to add some darkling / noise canceling curtains in the bedrooms. the blinds are nice

Around 10:30pm the gun shots started. They were very close to the property and on multiple sides. Terrifying night. 0/10.
Do. Not. Stay. Here.

It is a nice property, nice, new washer and dryer. The front entry door glass was broken when we arrived (wind) I would recommend this property

Interior design was nice. AC didn’t cool down much and wish beds were bigger. Overall a nice stay

This was perfect location for our cross country trip. Beautiful views, and the old charm of the house and neighborhood was just what we needed after hours in the car. The only downfall was that it was 82 degrees in the house when we arrived, and took a few hours to get in contact with the host. They were very responsive in the evening, however since we were staying one night it turned out to be a hot stay. Someone had messed with the setting before our arrival which impacted the heat. It was unfortunate we could not get this remedied but understand that was difficult with just one night stay. I was told I would receive a 20% refund because it only dropped from 82 to 79 during the night. I have yet to receive the refund or a response to my inquiry about this after our stay. Other than the heat and lack of refund. A beautiful and convenient location!

Great value
House was very well decorated. It is an older home and on the end of a street immediately next to the interstate. Noise was not too much of a problem. Beds were very comfortable plenty of room. Parking was a small issue, but we made it work. Very close and easy access to the American Royal while we were there for a cattle show.

Great weekend on the Hill
Pristine and tastefully decorated property perfectly located on a dead end street for privacy and a quiet weekend stay!

Great Place
This place was great. It was close to downtown and had plenty of room and a great small backyard. Super clean and everything went smoothly checking in and out. The only thing is, if you like super fluffy pillows I would bring your own or just double up like I did. Would definitely stay here again.

Overnight Stay
Some friends and I went to Kansas City for a concert at the T-Mobile Center, awesome location just 10 minutes away and a variety of food places near by. A little noisy from highway, but sleepable.

Very Responsive Host!!!
The host was very responsive when we told him that the hot water faucet in the shower produced lukewarm water. It was repaired the very next day in the early afternoon. Beds were comfortable even though they were smallish full-size mattresses. Heat worked perfectly as did all appliances. We hope to book this property again on our next visit to KCK! FYI. Bring headphones or earplugs if you are sensitive to highway noise!

Our weekend away
Great price for the size of the property! Just wasn't aware that we'd be staying on the other side of the river- in Kansas.

Charming but Dirty
While the home is charming.. it did not seem well prepared. The kitchen sink was clogged . There were several burnt out lights in the bathroom. The bathroom tub stopper was broken and the scald guard is set way too far on the cold level. The bathroom tub and sink were dirty. The kitchen counters had crumbs all over. The house is cute and charming but we were rather disappointed that the home wasn't clean and so much maintenance needs done. Andrew was semi responsive but you can tell he just sends out a general template. They also didn't respond to my concerns. It wasn't awful but I will not be staying here again.

Everything we needed
This was a great property with easy access to all the downtown attractions! Being able to bring our dog really helped in planning and made it feel like home!

Nice stay
Good overall communication around the check-in process. The property had everything needed and was modern and clean. The only drawback are the beds are a little small and there is some highway noise at night. Knowing this I'd still highly recommend for a small group or family.

Kansas City Exhibit
Nice little house at the end of a dead end street. Covered porch, good if you have a smoker in your party. KC skyline view would be a plus with a little outside trimming. Comfortable and everything you need for a visit to KC.

My husband and I stopped through for one night on the way to Colorado. We were kind of sad to leave and wanted to stay longer. This house is in an awesome location with a BEAUTIFUL view of the city. It’s super cute and comfy, and very nicely decorated. We didn’t have much time to explore but it looked to be within walking distance to some cool places. We discussed how great it would be if we could stay longer. We loved our stay and you will too! ✌️

Great stay
This was a great place for me, my husband and my dog to stay for the night on our road trip. The beds are a bit short, neither of us are over 6 ft and our feet almost hung over, but otherwise comfortable! The view is great and the neighborhood felt safe.

Great place to stay!
This place was nicely done on the inside and was perfect for what we needed. I have one complaint and that is the shower would not get hot at all. It was very unpleasant to say the least.. The sink would produce hot water but the shower wouldn’t so that was a bit confusing. Other than that small issue, the check in process was extremely easy and everything else was as advertised and suited us perfectly. Hopefully the host can figure out the shower situation but it certainly didn’t ruin the trip and I would recommend staying here!

This was a beautiful little house with ample natural light. There were minimal dishes, cooking was a challenge, but everything was very clean. Great place.

A thrill on Strawberry Hill!
We stayed at the house on Strawberry Hill. So clean & charming. An incredible view of downtown KC. It was the perfect spot for our getaway and a fantastic location. We fell in love with the charm of the house and of the Strawberry Hill neighborhood. The history of Strawberry Hill is fascinating.
We LOVED our time here. Can't wait to come back.

Almost great
We were very pleased at our initial impression. Perfect size, well decorated and maintained. I made dinner and found there wasn't a cutting board and the coffee pot was the size for one person at best. Neither of these were terrible, just noticed. Then comes time to take a shower, after a long day. I couldn't get a decent water temperature and ended up boiling water to add to the luke warm water and took a bath instead...not exactly a relaxing time. The remainder of they stay was nice, as my company was the best I could ask for :-) We didn't realize it was daylight savings time so the next morning was a slight rush. We cleaned up, packed our bags and walked out at 11 on the nose. Unfortunately we found we were face to face with the cleaner/owner (whoever it was). I have stayed at quite a few places and never had I experienced walking into someone at exactly check out time. I found this to be rude, bordering being shooed out, without so much as a 5 minute grace period. I always leave on time, so I don't know when the crew usually comes, but I can tell you, between this poor customer service experience and the inability to take a hot shower. We will not be back.
