About this house rental

Wake up every morning to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean while you enjoy your coffee on the gigantic, ocean front, patio. Tie your hammock up to the palm trees in front of the property on the beach and enjoy your day! There is a nice grassy area as well as a sandy beach only steps from the front door. Later in the day, enjoy the ocean view at the eat-in bar that is open from the kitchen to the patio. Blend up some frozen drinks or feed the kids a quick bite of lunch. There are almost always surfers and Kate borders to watch in front of the property. During the right season, turtles also love our beach to lay their eggs… If you’re lucky enough, you might even see some hatch! Take a walk down to magnificent food vendors or sit and have some drinks and food at the local restaurants. The kioskos are also only a couple minutes away, by car, and have a variety of local foods as well as burgers and fries, lobster, or some frozen drinks! There is also a super calm beach just behind the kiosk and to the right as you face the ocean.

This is the front half of a duplex. It has 2 bedrooms with a king sized bed and a twin over queen bed. There is also a studio apartment available at the rear of the building that can be rented separatelyif you need more space for your group to spread out! Property ID #2131780. The house is minutes from many local attractions such as El Yunque rainforest, the bioluminescent bay, Old San Juan and the forts, lighthouses, the ferry to Flamenco Beach, Icacos Island, and so much more!! Not to mention it’s located on one of the best beaches in the area! Spend your days exploring, shopping, fishing, eating, hiking, laying in the hammock, or just laying on the beach!

We stayed in the front unit as a family of 5, and my parents stayed in the back unit. This was a very nice place, the location ideal. We loved the front porch and the fact that the ocean was feet from the door. The place had a kitchen with everything you need, as well as ample towels for bathroom and beach, and beach chairs. The beds were also very comfortable. Such a great place.

Good location and spectacular ocean view!! The porch was a great place to take in the amazing view, to hear the waves crashing and people watch as they jogged or walked by. Mary was awesome as the Property Manager.

We loved staying here! Cute and cozy house. Ocean views were wonderful - colorful sunrises. Luquillo is a fun place to stay. The neighborhood is great - walking distance to good restaurants, short drive to a great beach and the kiosks. Location is close to the kayaking in Fajardo and ferry ride to Calebra as well as to El Yunque National Forest. We were sad to leave and would stay here again!

We highly enjoyed our stay! We loved watching the waves and the surfers. We thought the location was great for food and visiting other beaches. As well as other activities like hiking the El Yunque Rainforest, ziplining, and fishing.

We love luquillo and loved our stay. The porch is huge and even with the street you feel like you are right on the beach!! We spent most of our time on the porch on the tall chairs watching surfers and the ocean. Boardriders restaurant is right there and the food is awesome! We wish we could stay longer!

We stayed in the smaller apartment last year and loved the area so much we decided to come back and visit with our kids. We stayed in the front apartment this time and it was perfect! Our friends got a rental down the road, but our place ended up being home-base for both families to hang out on the front porch. We went on a bunch of adventures, including Yunque Ziplining, 787 Fishing in Fajardo, and surfing lessons right across the street in Luquillo. It wasn't until the end of our week that we saw information about volunteering to walk and play with local shelter animals, but we will be back and add this to our itinerary. I can't say enough about our stay, the house, and the people in Luquillo. It was an awesome adventure. Thank you, Amber!

Nice, clean property. Comfortable bed in the main bedroom (did not use the other beds). Mary, the property manager was a great communicator. Walking distance to beach(es) and several restaurants. Good shower pressure. The only downside is that the street in front of the property is quite busy. It is popular for people watching surfers or as parking spaces for people to walk along the beach. Many folks just park and sit in their cars, all hours of the day. It did limit the view occasionally and could make getting in and out of the driveway annoying. That said, the use of the driveway is included with the rental and that made the busy street less of a bother. Hubby and I agree we would stay here again.

Our stay at Change Your Latitude beach home in Luquillo was delightful. The spacious front porch became a favorite spot, where furry friends often paid us visits. Mornings were a joy by opening the giant window at the breakfast bar, sipping on coffee and taking in the views. The well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation for our kids a breeze. The generously sized bedrooms, with their ceiling fans, ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The convenience of two full bathrooms added to the overall comfort, and the ample supply of hot water made showers a pleasure. The picturesque scenery, highlighted by surfers on the beach just across the street, provided a perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway!

We loved being right on the beach-wonderful access-very relaxing. We would have appreciated to know there was a back apartment being rented/shared with us. The other renters took over the driveway and chatted daily right outside our bedroom window-early and late after 12:00.. this really astonished us as we had no idea there was a rental right in tieback of this rental

THE PROPERTY WAS FINE. I WOULD HAVE LIKED SOME GRAB BARS IN THE SHOWERS. AND GETTING RID OF THAT VERY SMALL STEP TO THE BEDROOM WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA. I ONLY FELL TWICE AND I DON'T DRINK! THE BEDS WERE THE MOST COMFORTABLE I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON.

We rented the whole property to celebrate our friends celebrating their 10year anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony. The rental was a block from our friends ceremony so perfect location. Mary was great at communicating anytime it was needed. The view every morning and company from our friend cuco made the stay so amazing.

We travel to PR more than any other place. We love it. For this property, there is a HVAC line that drains outside the door path which was slippery but you can step over it. However, the worst was VERY Loud music throughout the night due to people parking right outside with their stereo blaring every night. It was so loud, we couldn't have a conversation inside the house while it was playing. This should be mentioned in the description. It may not bother some, but we were tired throughout the day due to being kept awake. One positive to this property vs others is the beach is directly across the street. House was well equipped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; the beachfront view is amazing. I woke up every morning to watch the sunrise. Very convenient location with multiple restaurants within walking distance, in addition to a really nice coffee shop (La Fonda, Boardriders, and Coffee Therapy are all great). The Kioskos are a very short drive - #60 was our favorite as well as La Parilla. Just about everything we wanted to do was within a 30 min drive or less: El Yunque, Ceiba (take the ferry to Vieques or Culebra), San Juan etc. Seven Seas beach in Fajardo is gorgeous. The property owner, Amber, visited during our stay and she’s wonderful. I highly recommend this house and will DEFINITELY be returning ASAP!

Property is a wonderful location with stunning views and everything you need and Luquillo has lots of cute spots to enjoy for food and coffee. Recommend La Fonda and Coffee Therapy. Recommend Finca de Cacao La PruVite, a local, woman-run cacao farm, Virgen is such a wonderful host. We wished we could open up the windows to let the outside in but it was so hot and humid we really couldn't. Location is a popular area for surfers, who are parked on the street all day. You have to squat on a hammock spot if you want one, cuz they're out there early and there till after sundown.

The location is excellent. Sitting on the front porch, you have the ocean and beach right in front of you. The rooms are very spacious, there are beach towels, beach chairs, first aid kit… very thoughtful.. beds are comfortable. Running water and cooking stove are all working well. The check in and check out are very easy.

Great location! House was exactly as expected - we loved the porch and the 20 steps to the beach! House had everything we needed to cook a few meals and the bathrooms were nicely updated and clean. Our visit was absolutely fantastic! The home is wonderful! It had everything we needed and is in the perfect location. The view from the front porch...WOW!!! We probably could have stayed there all day. :) Honestly, everything we really needed to enjoy the taste and culture of Puerto Rico was in walking distance. We were also lucky enough to be visiting while Amber, the property owner was visiting. She is so nice, helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be visiting again!! The Carr Family

We loved watching the sunrise every morning from their beautiful front porch. Also I like the location… it’s perfect. You can boogie board in sandy beach and then Chilax at playa azul! We were two couples do the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom was perfect!! I will definitely book next year!

Great location! On a quiet street with very low traffic. The large porch was the best for enjoying our morning coffee. My teenagers enjoyed the boogie boards and skim board available. We spent a few days relaxing in hammocks enjoying th sound of the waves and peacefulness.

Our family of five completely loved this property. The location is amazing with the beach and surfers right across street. There are restaurants within walking distance. My favorite part was sitting on the front porch listening to waves. The beach chairs and body boards provided by the host were a nice bonus.

This house was perfect for us and our teenage son. Close to lots of adventures and a good landing pad when the day was done. House is comfortable, two bathrooms are a plus. We didn't really cook, but were happy to make coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening and sit on the porch to enjoy the view!

This place was in a great location by lots of locals. Walking distance to different restaurants and the beach. Only main issue were the bugs, lots of flies that somehow kept getting in the house. The owner was very nice and gave us different fly traps to use, but it was a bit irritating at times. Other than that would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here for two weeks in January. We love the Luquillo area and have vacationed here before. The home was very comfortable, clean, with plenty of thoughtful beachside extras. We especially enjoyed the deep covered porch and the high top bar. Perfect for windy days! Thanks for an awesome stay.
