About this house rental
Welcome to the George Taylor House! This lovely historic home dates back to 1810 and has been recently renovated to provide guests with a comfortable and memorable experience. The house is located on one of the most picturesque streets in Annapolis, just steps from the State Capitol, the vibrant City Dock waterfront, and all that Historic Annapolis has to offer.
The house consists of 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. The first floor layout includes the living room with a flat screen TV, gas fireplace and a built in bar and wine fridge, perfect for entertaining guests. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, beautiful granite counter tops, a gas oven range, a microwave, a toaster oven, and all basic cooking and eating utensils. The kitchen island seats four guests, while the dining room seats eight. There is also a powder room on the main level and a rear outdoor patio with comfortable seating.
The second floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The master bedroom, overlooking East Street, has a king size bed, a flat screen TV, 2 closets with ample storage space and a gas fireplace. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a flat screen TV.
The third floor is one of the coziest rooms in the house with a full bed with trundle, two twin beds, a window seat, flat screen TV and a full bathroom.

-South Street Lot (South Street, off Church Circle; $15/day; 7 minute walk to house)

My daughter was getting married around the corner at the Gov Calvert Inn. This rental was not only drop dead gorgeous and spacious for the bridal party but the perfect location to walk to everything. The perfect blend of historic charm and modern conveniences. Beds comfy and the bar in the front room was perfect for weekend fun! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Annapolis!

This property was the perfect backdrop for our annual college roommates reunion. It’s cozy, elegant, historic and spacious for a small gathering of friends — plus the location is fantastic for walks to the USNA, City Dock, Capitol, and downtown shopping and dining district. This house is walking distance to everything. Steps away from restaurants and shopping. The Naval Academy and are Yacht Basin are so close but you are away from the crowds and noise on a nice street
The house has that downtown charm with exposed brick and hardwood floors but is still decked out with the modern convieniences

This house is a quintessential Annapolis home. It is in a perfect location, and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the owner Donald is very accessible. The George Taylor home made our Christmas 2022 very special.

We were visiting for a wedding and hosting the wedding party.. Donald was an excellent host. He was extremely accommodating working with us amid our hectic schedule leading up to the wedding. The excellent location with its proximity to downtown made this trip extremely enjoyable. When we arrived the place was clean and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others. Overall an amazing experience.

Perfect location, walkable to everything Annapolis has to offer. Lovely home, impeccably decorated and very comfortable furniture and layout. Well stocked kitchen and very clean. Check in and out times were very reasonable and the owner was very responsive. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed at - lovely special touches (real flowers and coffee!)

We loved the house which is an historic home dating from 1810. It has been modernized with a great kitchen but in a way that takes nothing away anything and which blends seamlessly with the original elements of the home. The owner, Donald, could not have been more helpful, he is an excellent host. The location of the property is also amazing, including being an easy walk to both the historic statehouse and the US Naval Academy which one one of the best tours we were ever on, by the way. There were five us, including 2 of my sons and their cousins and everyone had a great time. Great restaurants in the area as well.

Amazing VRBO!!
I cannot say enough positive things about this property and the location to DTA, USNA, and the Navy Marine Corp Memorial Stadium. We were in town for my 20th reunion from USNA and the house was absolutely amazing for our family during our stay. I would stay here again and loved the historic but up to date feel of the house. Fantastic stay!!!!

Great rental!
Terrific family trip to USNA to see my daughter. The location is perfect. We walked into town, to USNA and to the football game. The house has everything you need, and we loved the back patio. We look forward to renting from Donald again who made it so easy!

We had a great time staying here. We rent houses through VRBO frequently and in all different areas. This was one of our favorites. The location is great. It is literally a two minute walk to everything... the shops, the waterfront, restaurants, Ego Alley, etc. You can't beat it if you want to be near everything.
The house was also super clean and very welcoming. It appears to be recently renovated and everything was brand new, clean and in excellent condition. The beds were super comfortable.
The layout of the house is great too. There is a third floor with three single beds. We had four adults and three kids so the kids stayed up there, which was perfect. The third floor could easily accommodate more kids if necessary on cots/air mattresses.
The owner, Don, was great too. He was very responsive and made the check-in process easy. We had one special request, which he accommodated, no problem.
Overall this house is an A+. We will definitely be back and this house will be our go-to spot in Annapolis.

Amazing place in the heart of downtown Annapolis! Newly renovated with great amenities and very spacious. Great living room with bar to hangout with family and friends, nice dining area, larger kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Great communication with owner. We will definitely stay here again!
