The top floor of the property houses the open plan living, kitchen and dining area. Contemporary style includes an L-shaped sofa, a gas fire and a brand new 50" inch Smart TV. However, the pièce de résistance is the balcony, which runs the length of the property and is big enough for an early morning Yoga session. The property faces south east so is flooded with light in the mornings. At the back of the top floor you will find a decking area complete with a gas BBQ, and steps leading up to a terraced garden with a romantic pergola and a round dining table that once again affords you views across the estuary.
The property also has parking for strictly one car directly outside the property.
Recommended for: Groups of friends and families. The property is less than a one minute walk from the Harbour Hotel with its spa facilities, restaurant and bar.
Favourite feature: The view of the estuary, which is omnipresent from almost all parts of the property.
About a holiday in Salcombe
Salcombe is a historic fishing and sailing town that has become famous as a holiday destination because of its natural beauty and its local charm. Blessed with more beaches than you can visit in a week, a jaw-dropping estuary and magnificent walks along the South West Coast Path, it’s also filled with local traditions. For example, there’s the Town Regatta in August, excellent sailing opportunities, its own gin and ice cream factories, unparalleled clotted cream fudge, a magnificent bakery, and restaurants such as The Winking Prawn (a few minutes’ walk from the house) that have practically become a rite of passage for visitors.
Please note: Any availability of Spa facilities is under the control of the Salcombe Harbour Hotel and we cannot give any discounts or amend bookings if the facilities are not available during your stay.

On a positive note, I have used vrbo all around the world and it is a great service.
More due diligence is required on a non-maintained property like this one at Beacon Court.
Too numerous to tell you all the issues but a few are the following:
-Could not use garden due to wall collapsed--this has been like this for a while/as per the next door neighbours
- Frie place was broke -this was documented in arrival pack hence also been broke for a long time
- No audio entertainment - /broken system (Reported multiple times and non-one could fix it)
- No BBQ -BBQ was broke and reported first day--workman arrived 5-day slater and fixed it (Only time anyone came to the property)
- For a large property a single small TV in main lounge
- Balconies were nice but broken and limited furniture
- Mold around exterior of balcony and walls
Smaller items
- Many lights out including, security issue, main door exterior lights
- Zero toiletries -even a motel has soap
- Single roll of toilet paper for 6 people :)
Clearly just an owner who does not maintain anything and making easy money.
Teh company that runs/supports this property responded via email---never answered the phone and it took 5 days for workman arrive and he agreed that the place was a shambles.
Teh 'support' company also left a bottle of cheap fizz stating, 'sorry for all the things that are wrong!"
Further actions will be taken directly.

3rd time back and very enjoyable.

Great place in a great location, stunning views of the estuary especially at sunrise.
Took one star off only because there were some issues with the cleaning that we fed back to the agent so they should be sorted now.

Fantastic stay
We have not holidayed in the UK for a while but we needn't have worried about the standard of accommodation we had booked at Beacon Court. The property is fantastic, comfortable, brilliantly positioned with the most wonderful views. We were there with our daughter and her family (2 of our grandchildren) and an adult niece. We took full advantage of the use of the Harbour Hotel spa and pool which comes with the property. We were very pleased to have booked a couple of meals out as all restaurants, bars and pubs in Salcombe were completely full.....it was impossible even to go for just a drink. We found some locals to be less than friendly but Covid was beginning to spike again in Cornwall and Devon so perhaps they have just had enough......but we did not come away with a "we'll be pleased to see you again" feeling! We were so lucky with the weather being able to be on one of the many beaches every day. Our only negative comments are: disappointed not to be able to access the property until 5pm given we had paid for 7 days; there was no corkscrew (!!) nor a cheese grater (we bought one and donated it) and we were told to bring beach towels - all being bulky items - and it turned out that beach towels are provided. However, we would have no hesitation in booking this property again.....it had everything we needed to make it a special UK summer holiday.

We had a gorgeous week in Salcombe, the property’s interiors were spot on but could do with more comfortable outdoor furniture on the main level with some seating outside the bedrooms. Also the outdoor patios could do some attention as I dont think they were cleaned before we arrived and look quite tired. We really loved Salcombe as this was our first time here and will definitely return.

Beautiful views :-)
This is a very well equipped, well designed house. There was an issue with cleaning not finished and also they only had one key. Despite this would definitely recommend

This property is in the most amazing location, with views over the estuary, out to the sea and down towards Salcombe town. We were there during the Merlin Rocket week and were able to watch sailing races everyday along with other boating activity on the water. The balcony was perfectly positioned to get the morning sun, ideal for a breakfast of fresh pastries. The open living area was lovely to sit in and to socialise in. The bedrooms were bright and enjoyed their own balconies. Having use of the Harbour Hotel Spa was an added bonus and the keysafe made it convenient for a large group to enjoy doing different things. We had a wonderful week.
