Home has an excellent location and quick response from property manager (those are a 5 star). Maintenance of home is Poor. Because of lack of home maintenance, brought this home to 3 star. Needs interior touch-up/painting, broken screens or none, broken window, needs new window coverings/repairs, not enough glasses, silverware. Dirty under kitchen sink. Broken kitchen counter top. All couch/chair cushions in interior/exterior need replacement. No directions for bbq and fire pit use on roof deck. Bedroom closets need repair work and clean out. All towels, bed linens in good condition. Beds are comfortable.

Great property, but parking is very tricky. The measurements of the parking areas are in the property description, but difficulty of getting into the spaces is not publicized; the spaces are in a very narrow alley with legally parked cars and building structures that made very challenging obstacles for my Honda Pilot and my husbands Tesla Model Y. I ended up scratching my car on a concrete post near the garage on the second time I parked my car there. I called the agency about street parking confusion, as the white and red signs near where we ate on Mission Blvd said 2 hr parking. I assumed t. I guess the agency did not know about the areas with two hour parking when I called,

We did stay for 6 nights in this house at mission bay. The house is really nice, we loved the roof terrace and had more than enough space for 5 persons.
But first problems did already appear on the first day when we started to cook for dinner. Some dishes have been full of old dried food, so that we had to clean it again.
After dinner we did want to use the dishwasher. When we opened it, a terrible smell came out of it and the bottom side was full of old ugly water. If somebody would have checked it in before, he would have definitely recognised it. We tried to start the dishwasher, but it didn't work, so I contacted the surfstyle team.
I was impressed about the fast feedback and directly in the next day a technician was planned. But finally he didn't come. After several mails from my side, the technician did come on our 5. day, but was not able to solve the problem without a spare part. Until the end of our stay it didn't work. I hope for the next ones it has been solved.
We did cook 2-3 times a day by our own, so it was a big miss.
Also the bbq on the roof top terrace was full of dirt from former uses…it did take about one hour cleaning to achieve a acceptable status to use it.
Just the 2 biggest examples…in general cleanliness status was the worst compared to all the other apartments and houses we stayed during our long west coast trip.
In addition the area around the house is beautiful and you will find everything you need, unfortunately at our time, there was a lot of construction work around the house, so that it was really loud during the days.
To summarise, really nice house in a beautiful area, but improvements in regards to cleanliness and maintenance needed!

The location is perfect having access to the bay and ocean. It served the purpose for us and we had a good time. However - The house did not feel clean to us and it is clear that a thorough cleaning needs to be done. There also needs to be basic maintenance done, making sure doors and doorknobs all work, windows too. A good coat of paint everywhere might help. The dishwasher needs to be replaced as it has mold inside it and we could not use it. The upstairs fire pit needs maintenance as well. We just got the overall feeling that the owner does not care about the property.
It should be noted on the details that the parking garage and parking spot can really only accomodate smaller cars as it was extremely difficult backing out of the garage.

I had family in from Virginia and we all stayed in this home over Labor Day weekend. It is just a few steps to the bay, and a two minute walk to the beach. You can see the beach and the bay from both sides. The beds were very comfortable, everything you need for a weekend getaway.

The location can't be beat, between the bay and the ocean and close to everything. There is a bathroom for each bedroom which is wonderful, tv's in each room and the house has everything you need for your stay.
Our issue was the cleaning staff. The house could use some TLC; there was grime on the door, light switches were dirty, pet hair on the kitchen table, I cleaned food out of the drain, there was sand and hair in the bed sheets, spider webs (some with spiders) in the bedrooms, and when I opened the bottom drawer on the stove I could see food under it. I did reach out to the owner and asked for cleaning supplies. They said they would send someone over to clean it but I wanted to do it myself. I asked for supplies, was told they'd drop some off, never did. The cleaning staff also came to the door on 2 different days wanting to get into the garage to grab supplies. My daughter was working from the home during those days and they disturbed her calls. I don't understand why they stored items in a home that is rented out. The house has a lot of potential, it just needs to be cleaned. Thankfully I brought clorox wipes, I used them all to clean.

When we arrived at the house it smelled terrible. Immediately had to go get candles and try to air it out. House did not smell or feel clean. Our first night we saw 3 spiders crawling out of a vent. I contacted the rental company. They said they could send house cleaning and a bug company out but we decided to check out early and left. I don’t think for the price it is worth it to stay there. I won’t return.

Location of this property was excellent. Steps from the beach, restaurants, grocery stores. Property was very clean with comfortable beds. Very comfortable for 4 adults, two teenagers, and a dog. Wonderful rooftop deck with fire pit. Kitchen was well equipped. Our dog loved laying on one of the decks gazing at the bay and people. We would certainly rent this place again.

- floors weren’t well mopped (I’m sure hard to do well for a beach property).

Fun visit to mission beach
The house has a great rooftop deck with views of the ocean and the bay. The evenings on the deck had beautiful city lights also. We spent a lot of time on this deck. The kitchen was big enough to prepare great meals along with the BBQ located on the rooftop deck.

Best location
Lots to see within a very short walk. I loved being back a couple of blocks from the main area for the noise insulation. We could easily see both the bay and ocean from all levels of the house and get to either in 5 mins or less. Having a full house to ourselves made it feel much more like we were at OUR house. Beds were comfortable, enough towels, beach towels and beach toys all available. The roof deck was a great way to start and end the days. The 2 parking spaces included gave us room to maneuver, and glad we had one to get around to see the sights of San Diego.

Can’t Beat the Views!
Perfect location for my husband, me our son, wife and 9 month old infant who had his first beach experiences in San Diego. The space worked for all of us and easy access to bay and the ocean couldn’t have been better. We were content with staying near the house the entire stay and had easy access to good places to eat. San Diego Beach House
I can’t say enough good things about our stay! The house was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations! We had the ocean on one side and the bay on the other, which could be seen and enjoyed, especially from the great roof deck. We could walk to beaches and restaurants, and bike and scooter rentals were on every corner. We rented a car but we hardly used it since almost everything was in walking distance. A great long weekend spent with family. We will be back for sure👍👍

Large House with Great Views
We had 8 guests stay in the North Point house, it fit us all well with everything needed. We really enjoyed the main living area on the 3rd floor and the rooftop sealed the deal for us returning again (along with the carport parking space that fit our Escalade!)

Surf Trip
This is a lovely rental home, perfect for our family of 5. I highly recommend using the roof top deck for coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. This home was perfectly located between the bay and the beach. Also, the coffee shop, sushi place & Mexican restaurant down the street were fantastic to walk to every day. Our biggest struggle was with parking-both our Expedition and Silverado were too long to fit in the garage so we used it as storage for surf & paddle boards. One car did fit in the carport.

Beach Birthday Bash
We had a great time as a family at this home for my husbands 40th birthday. The home had plenty of space, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and ability to view the beach on one side and the bay on the other. It was during Covid so we walked around and had food delivered to the home. Very easy for everyone to locate it , no issues.
