Our stay was awesome.! We had a couple small setbacks that our local vacasa rep sorted out in a flash! Will definitely be back in October and I can't say enough about the awesome service we received from Carol and Meredith and the main office. These two are getbthings done and run a business the way it should be ran! A++++

If you’re looking for an inexpensive house for a lot of people it’s fine. It has potential to be a really gray house. The outdoor lighting getting up the stairs is scarce to non existent so be sure to bring a flashlight. Nothing in this house makes sense including the only entrance to the deck containing the hot tub are through two bedrooms. One if you are using it and they’re carpeted. It’s very outdated but sufficient if you plan to be gone most of the time and just sleep there.

This house has potential, but needs upgrading and a good deep cleaning. Furniture is outdated. 2 full cans of trash with more left outside the bins was left by for us to take out. Other issues include broken kitchen faucet, non-draining shower/tub, missing refrigerator drawer and shelf covers, exterior stairs had sticky red liquid, dirty carpets, grease stains on kitchen window & walls, all beds squeak loudly and terribly, couch is so old that the cushions are nearly flat, among others issues. But - Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans and other necessities. Had a 6pm check-in (which I thought was late anyway) but was told we could not check in until 7:15pm - however, I was monetarily compensated for this. Check out instructions in multiple places were inconsistent. Would not stay here again without a good cleaning first.

We were very happy to find a place so convenient to the beach. We had no problem with the house obviously having been redecorated in the 70s/80s - even books and games found in the house were of that era. The owners have just revamped the living room and the hot tub is a treat for sure. The real problems were that when we arrived at night the light outside was not working and is probably still not working. This is extremely dangerous as you have to climb the three flights of wooden steps in total blackness - read more about this further. We contacted Vacasa by text as calling didn't answer unless calling to their new rentals number. After that the light in our daughters room fell apart after she turned it on. This was followed by the dishwasher leaking. And finally the one wooden step breaking making that step incredibly dangerous. At no point did we hear from Vacasa regarding these matters , or were any repairs done. After texting the first two problems we stopped receiving texts in response to our problems. My call to Vacasa a day after our return was answered and the feedback was that "the dockets" were on record. No apology until I pointed this out. I pointed out that having "dockets" about the problems did not fix the problem. So in the end Vacasa is the one who kept dropping the ball.

Had not been cleaned on our arrival
Cleaning crew came later in eve after we got in
No beds made trash left etc
Jacuzzi.. we were afraid to use given lack of attention to property .
Too late check in
Too early check out
Only 2 dish towels
Skimped on towels
Management answers were as if right hand and left hand did not know each other
Bedroom window broken and temporarily filled over with card board and masking tape
We had a great vacation because of ourselves
House was comfy enough
That was sweet
But service not good
We regretted no grill on a beach trip and annoyed to have to rent a grill extra from elsewhere

The service elevator is wonderful in getting things into the house.

The house is in north end of Avon where there is less flooding. We stayed in this house about 10 years ago and really liked the location. The house shows it’s age but it served us well enough.

This property is managed by Vacassa. Vacassa has terrible customer service. You have to wait up to 30 minutes to talk to a human. There is no way to talk directly to the owner at all.
I arrived at the property, and the hot tub was broken. It took days to get an answer as to what was going on. Then Vacassa played hard ball on giving me a small partial refund for the rest of the week. It really ruined my whole vacation.
VRBO told me I had to resolve the issue directly with Vacassa, and took no responsibility.
Overall, my worst vacation experience ever.

the home needs updateing with the furniture wich is so worn out and uncomfortable, there was moldy shower curtains and mold in bathrooms and bedrooms. We had no hot water for the first 2 days, half the windows had no screens and ther were no directions for TVs. The set up of the home with thw big kitchen table and bedrooms on second floor was ideal for my family but the home needs alot of TLC.
