No Storm Damage-Property was not touched by the recent hurricanes! “Pool Villa by the Beach” located in South Venice - a recently remodeled home that's less than 2 miles to the famous Manasota Beach! South Venice is a laid-back community conveniently located within minutes of many local beaches such as Manasota Key Beach, Blind Pass Beach, Caspersen Beach, Venice Beach, Englewood Beach, Stump Pass Beach and the beautiful historic downtown Venice and the beautiful historic Englewood featuring local shops, restaurants and golf courses. Just a few minute drive to world famous spots such as Sharky's Pier and the Venice Jetty and Boca Grande known for great fishing and catching beautiful sunsets! Pool Villa by the Beach offers accommodations for up to 6 guests (up to 5 adults) in great comfort (one king bed, one queen bed and one queen sleeper sofa).
We are local hosts and available should a need arise.

Open concept living space with split floor plan, allows you plenty of privacy. As you enter through the front door a large great room welcomes you with a 55” smart TV and plenty of seating. Just off the living area is a newly remodeled Florida room where you can sit back to relax and/or read your favorite book. The fully applianced modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and white cabinets. Sip your morning coffee at the kitchen nook or dining area overlooking the pool and beautiful backyard lined with palms. Fully equipped with kitchen gadgets, cookware and dinnerware make whipping up delicious vacation meals a breeze.
The 1st Bedroom is a master en-suite featuring a king sized bed, 2 dressers, a private bathroom with a large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 features a queen sized bed, a desk (perfect for “work away from home”, a dresser and a generous sized walk-in closet. The 2nd bathroom is conveniently located across the hall from the 2nd bedroom. All bathrooms have hair dryers. Florida Room has a queen sleeper sofa. This home has the convenience of streaming cable TV with hi-speed internet and Wi-Fi. The laundry area has a washer and dryer for your use. All linens, towels and pool towels are provided for you.
Private caged in heated pool for you to enjoy! Enjoy the lounging area or soak up the sun on the spacious pool deck with loungers or patio set, perfect for relaxing or entertainment! There is a stand-alone gas barbecue grill just off the pool deck. This home is also ideally located just a few minutes drive from the uncrowded picturesque beaches of Boca Grande Island with first class salt-water fishing and water sports. Visit the many excellent restaurants that cater to all tastes. Stocking up on groceries and other essentials is a breeze with shops just around the corner.
*As a courtesy, free of charge, the pool is heated during the winter months up to 75 degrees (Oct-April). Please let us know if you would like the pool heated above 75 degrees, (at additional cost of $20/day, $125/wk, $400/month) during the winter months (Oct-April). *Also please note that during cold nights/days the water may not be able to reach 85 degrees. Pool floats and toys are available for guest use and located in the shed of the pool area.
*Home is not child-proofed for young children. Additionally there are no safety gates/locks from preventing young children from falling or getting into the pool.

This is a Great property to stay at. Very clean. We had a lot of fun riding the bicycles and playing/relaxing in the pool. We used the sifting tools to find over 100 sharks teeth at the beaches. Stan and Liz had lots of pool stuff that we used and other game stuff we didn't use. They were easy to communicate with and very helpful to me getting through the booking process. We would stay again and highly recommend this property.

We loved this house. Great little place for a friends’ getaway in a perfect quiet neighborhood The pool was fabulous….warm and clean. And the accessories in the garage were a big plus….bikes, helmets, lawn chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc….we used them all! Thank you!

The home was well appointed with all needed. Close to local beach but spent a lot of time in the car traveling to attractions north of Venice. Pool was lovely with solar cover that was easy to put on/take off. Great water pressure in shower! We enjoyed our stay!

Every good thing you read about Stan and Liz and this excellent rental is true. We needed a puzzle table and chairs ... Stan had them there for us. The heated pool was nicely warm. The house is immaculate and well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet and within short walking distance of two nature areas, one of which has an active eagles nest. We happily signed up for next year.

We stayed in this property for three nights on our way to a long term rental. We needed to rest up after a long drive and prepare for a visiting grandchildren.
The house is lovely. Very clean, SO nicely decorated, and lacking in nothing you need in the kitchen for meal preparation.
Stan was very quick to respond to all inquiries .
My husband loved the proximity to the beach. A very short drive or bike ride.
The pool is well equipped with floaties and there were lots of chairs for outside use.
Our only minor complaint is that there is not a lot of direct sun in the pool area. It is treed all around and feels a tad closed in.
But overall this property is recommended and communication with the owner/property manager was excellent!

House was in a good location to go to the beach. Nice neighborhood nice and quiet. Some in the party found the pool to be to cold to swim in. The shower water never got hot. It was hot for boys but just kind of hot for the girls. Lots of toys in the garage to play with. This was the first time using the VRBO app i found the check in process to be stressful. Just not knowing how it was done until check in time stressed me out. Overall a nice place to stay

My husband and I extended our stay in FL after a week long cruise. This was the perfect house for us. I had to work virtually and the internet worked great for me. The bicycles were a very nice plus as my husband used one and went on a 30 mile bike ride up to Shamrock Park and then the Legacy Trail. While the temps were cooler than usual, we did pay to heat the pool but still a little chilly to swim. I was able to go in the last day but my husband was able to go in it a couple days. We met Stan, he is across the street and very friendly and responsive. We definitely hope to make it back again.

We had a great time swimming and playing in the pool. The backyard is sheltered so that was nice. It was a cooler weekend so my granddaughters really appreciated the heated pool option! We were going to use the kayaks but had so much fun poolside that we never got around to it.

Property was exactly as advertised. House was extremely clean, comfortable, close to the beach and centrally located to any convenience that you would need. They furnish bikes, kayaks and sifters used to hunt for fossilized shark teeth at the nearby beach. The house is in a quiet area.

It was tucked into the neighborhood and would have been impossible for me to find without GPS. The kitchen was fully stocked. Hosts were wonderful and right across the street to help us when we had any questions! The neighborhood is nice for bike riding, close enough to town that it's only a short drive but far enough away that it's still peaceful and quiet at the house. Will definitely be coming back and staying again!

The “Relax Refresh Renew” wall hanging perfectly describes our time at this property! Open, spacious, and perfectly suited to the 2 couples sharing this house. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths are at opposite ends providing privacy while maintaining the togetherness of the other living spaces. A sunroom with best pullout couch we’ve ever slept on, chairs, end tables & coffee table. Bicycles, kayaks, coolers, beach chairs and towels, all supplied. A heated swimming pool for refreshing dips. Public beach with bathrooms, picnic tables & foot washing stations. Swimming, walking, beach combing for sharks teeth all only a short 2 miles drive away. Friendly owners were available right across the street with answers to all our questions or needs. Thanks to Stan and Liz for providing this hidden gem for an escape from the snow and cold!

Wholeheartedly, I would highly recommend the hosts and home to anyone visiting the Venice area. The cleanliness, accommodations, and tranquility were outstanding! The home had everything we needed and so much more. Our trips to the beach were made easy with the beach chairs, shark tooth finders, and perfect sized cooler. We cooked and BBQ'd too while our kiddos had a blast in the pool. We were so close to friends that recently purchased a home in the area too. We felt very safe and the hosts were so welcoming. None of us wanted to go back home. :)

Perfect vacation
We found the house very clean and with all the things we needed. The pool was perfect for those days when the sea waves were too high for our kids. The host has been super responsive and helpful. The beach was very close (and has free parking), only few minutes by car. Highly recommended!

Great for Families
We absolutely loved our stay. The hosts were very responsive and the house was immaculate. It was loaded with everything a family would need. The pool is a huge bonus when you are exhausted but your kids want to keep going. The neighborhood is quiet and close to major beaches. My favorite part of the trip was sneaking out to kayak with my husband and the provided kayaks. I look forward to booking again.
