We stayed in this villa for 7 nights as 6 adults and 3 children.
We had to meet the villa host in town so that we could follow her. This is essential as you wouldn't be able to find the villa on your own. Communication with the host was excellent.
On arrival the villa was immaculate, the outdoor area is amazing and this is where we spent most of our time.
There are 4 large bedrooms in the villa. We did have to use the separate villa as we needed the extra bedroom.
I am not sure if this is used very much. It is a beautiful villa but it did have some mold in when we arrived.
This was dealt with very promptly the next morning.
The main villa itself is beautiful. The pool is one of the largest we have had in a villa stay and was very clean.
Ostuni itself is a 10 minute drive away and is a charming Italian town with lots of beautiful buildings and restaurants. The pizzeria which is 5 minutes drive away is delicious and very charming.
We were here attending a wedding so we didn't get chance to go to any beaches nearby although we were happy to stay by the pool all day.
We would definitely go back to this villa again

4 nights for Family (2 elder, 2 kids (8 & 5), 4 adults).
Check-in:
Confusing-we had to meet the property manager at the town's fire dept. She showed us the way to the property (even with coordinates on Google maps) to reach the house. We were nervous about the process. Our first night & up to afternoon next day, we had NO RUNNING WATER. We were ok with evening & told it would be fixed by next day morning. We had to follow-up multiple times. We had to keep complaining & were told to be patient, & in the end, they realized they never turned on the water.
Safety Concerns:
the rule: you need to inform the property manager within 24 hrs of any damages upon check in so you will not be charged. We noticed immediately: freezer bin broken; bathroom mirror door in 1st room cracked held together by tape!; kitchen lights right above stove & sink kept falling down - once even while we were cooking!; MOLD in the ice maker; the bathroom sliding DOOR that fell on top of my mom, and also injured my dad in one of the bedrooms. my mom was changing & the door fell on top of her. she was concussed, while my dad's eyebrow and arm was scratched, and his eyeglasses were broken because of it.
Communication:
Very poor - esp when there are problems. we were offered compensation for my parents' injuries: we only asked for my dad's broken glasses & our lost expense for the beach club fee. they have been giving us the run around until we give up. they try to blame it on us not giving bank info.

Tenuta Lamia degli Ulivi was the perfect location for our family vacation in Puglia! Ilaria met us in town and we followed her to the property, where we were welcomed by this gorgeous villa & guest house, pools, beautiful rooms, and bath robes & towels for each guest. The kitchen had ample plates, bowls, platters, glasses, cutlery and cookware, including a Lavazza coffee maker, an ice maker, and a large fridge & freezer. And after a quick trip into town to buy basics from the grocery store, we were set. ( Since we were a group of 9, we did have to buy extras of things like bottled water, toilet paper, etc but it was easy and not a bother.) The outdoor blue tooth speakers were lovely for our days spent at the villa and dinners there as well. This villa’s location was ideal. We explored Ostuni and spent time at the villa enjoying the pool, outdoor seating areas and dining at the villa, but also took day trips all over Puglia to explore different cities, sail along the coast, visit beaches and sites. Ilaria was very helpful, responded quickly to any questions we had and our vacation could not have been better. We hope to return to this villa again in the future as our experience was truly wonderful! Puglia is magical!
