Beautiful property, Joe communicated with us throughout the day since there was some snow fall. He made sure the cabin was ready early and met us as we drove in and gave us "the lay of the land". Great guy and we felt at home and safe at the cabin. Loved being able to run with the dogs and pet the horses. It was cold in Arizona for those few days but the cabin was warm and cozy. It's about an hour and 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon South rim entrance.

Amazing cabin not far from William's. Close to train and town, deer farm, and tubing/ roller coaster. We had a fire every night. Joe provided wood for us. It was quit and tucked in the woods. The four of us had a great time
Don't be scared when you get to the dirt road. It feels off grid, but it was actually close and convenient.

I loved everything about the property! Joe and his wife was very nice. I loved the heated bed after hiking all day. The property and scenery is great for a get away and to be stress free.
Nothing everything was great! and if you need any info on what to do or any extra items all you have to do is ask.

The location was beautiful. The hosts were very friendly.
I went with my two teen boys, thinking they could sleep on the pull-out bed/couch. The mattress on the couch was unusable. And couch was more of a loveseat. So I had to sleep in the king bed with my 2 teen boys. Definitely not the best scenario. Also , there was no dresser. So all of our clothes were on the floor. There was no table or anything in the bedroom so everything was on the floor. It would be great to have a dresser inside the closet. Also, there is no wifi. I dont remember this being mentioned and maybe I missed that but that should be VERY clear on the description.
I had no idea how isolated the place was. My bad. I was totally unable to plan my trip from home and would have to wait until we drove into town to do any final planning. Although it was a bonus to have my kids off of their phones for a minute, it was just hard for planning. And comically, I had rented a BMW coupe, thinking my 17 year old would have fun. Definitely NOT the car to bring to a dude ranch. Lol. It made it though, unscathed. I think I just completely missed the memo on what a ranch in Arizona is like. Its a great cottage for a couple or single person who doesn't mind not unpacking and who wants to unplug. Joe and Barbara are VERY nice and it is a BEAUTIFUL location! I bet it is even more amazing in the summer!

EVERYTHING!!
best stay in the US we had
awesome hosts that put a lot of effort in the house, from a great kitchen to small details and the effort to make you as much as possible feel like home.
it’s quiet and you have the chance to get relaxed
couldn’t stay longer… ;)
seriously, nothing. but pay attention it’s a bit off the track. we had heavy snow fall but still made it without 4x4, but if you’d ask Joe, he wouldn’t recommend it

Location was excellent and away from the crowds. It was easy to get to the Grand Canyon from there.

Beautiful location. Clean cottage with a big comfortable double bed and well-equipped kitchen. BBQ and fire-pit. Children loved it. 1 hr away from Grand Canyon and Sedona. Friendly and helpful hosts. Perfect.
The sofa bed was good enough for our little kids but it is probably uncomfortable for adults. My wife and myself slept on the big double bed which was super comfortable, so can't really complain.

Joe and Barbera are very friendly hosts. The cabin was well equipped and clean with everything we need. Joe helped us with lighting the campfire.
The horses roamed about freely and so did the dogs and cat. Our 7 year old son was allowed to drive the tractor and feed the animals. He and we had a blast!
A sign on the road to find the house would be helpful.

We've had an amazing and unexpected experience thanks to thé owners who walked us around the property and the animals in the ranch. They told us a lot about the area. And they organized for us activities. We couldn't expect more!
The cottage IS very comfy, with sweet decoration. WE Hope to Come back. Great retreat in authentic America.
Nothing.

I liked the surroundings. It was a great location for our dogs. The owners live at the location and able to answering our needs. We also liked the location. It was just 17 miles to Williams or Flagstaff. Joe (owner) suggested the small cafe about 6 miles away and they did have an awesome burger. Which tasted great after our horseback riding adventure. We couldn't have an open fire, but they had a BBQ grill and a full kitchen, we used both.
It was our fault, but the horse backing riding was a big extra expense. They only had a 2 hour trail ride. There is two of us so it added up to almost the cost of the cottage for 3 nights. We would had preferred and hour, but that wasn't an option. Ask the cost before you commit to anything. It was a beautiful ride, I guess we just have buyers remorse.

The moment you pull onto the property it is welcoming and warm. We got the tour from Miss Barbara and Dago Joe. We stayed in the cottage for almost a week and it is cozy and just big enough for 2. We stayed outside most of the time keeping the fire going. The horse ride to a breath taking peak where you can see forever! The ride was great because you aren't riding a trail with a robot horse. We're from Texas and working our bucket list. The Grand Canyon is now checked off. We STRONGLY recommend the Ranch!! And you will find April weather in Arizona is 👍
There's nothing to dislike

The property was clean and pleasant.
I wish we would’ve have booked the bigger cabin, but that was our fault.

They didn’t offer breakfast, but that did not matter. They had a very nice cabin with a nice kitchen,so we could do our own breakfast. It was very clean and spacious. They have very comfortable bed and a bed sofa, also a heating blanket. You might need that. The owners were very nice and was very patient with two seniors. The horse back riding was so fun. We hadn’t rode for ever so they taught us everything we needed to know. Made sure we were safe with the horses. He should tell the renters that the riding is extra so they can plan their expenses. It wasn’t a problem with us, but maybe someone would have a problem with it. They should also tell the people to bring cowboy boots for riding so they can been their own. That was not a problem with us but maybe for someone else. We are planning on going back this fall. There is a store 6 miles away to get groceries and gas and a deli to eat out. It was close to the Grand Canyon; that is why we rented it,and because it was a cabin. They also have goats and chickens AND have fresh eggs to buy. There were many things to do and people to visit with. It was a very good history lesson, too. You can have a fire with your own wood burner outside. And you also have a grill for your own use. Over all it was a very very nice place. The scenery was outstanding. You not be disappointed .The weather is very ify.Just be prepared. They have a pallet burner in the cabin for cold weather. Call ahead. They will help with that. Have a great time. You will enjoy every minute of your vacation. Thanks Joe and Barb for a great time. CALL TODAY!!!!
Tell the guests of the extra costs that they might have. The horse back riding, cowboy boot rental, extra wood burning. That was no problem for us but maybe for someone else.

We liked everything thing about our stay. It was a perfect getaway. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
My wife and I felt totally at peace in the quiet woods that surrounded the very comfortable cabin. Getting totally away from the city and the stress made going back a plan for another vacation. Chris
