About this house rental
Welcome to Wine Country Haven, a splendid 3-bedroom retreat nestled in the heart of Santa Rosa, owned by passionate wine makers. While not on a vineyard, this cozy abode is designed to immerse you in the spirit of viticulture, offering a unique and charming getaway for wine enthusiasts and those seeking a taste of the good life. Indulge in the warmth and comfort of our wine-inspired home. This retreat is perfect for up to six guests, whether you're traveling with friends or family.
Fun Inside: A unique three bedroom/three bathroom floor plan (in essence three master bedrooms) makes this house ideal for large groups of friends or families to make the most of their wine country getaway. An excellent choice for a Thanksgiving feast, holiday dinner party or something in between. What you will like most is that when you settle in here you’ll feel at home.
Fun Outside: A well-manicured backyard with a dining table, lounge chairs and an awesome view start the outside fun. Enjoy your morning coffee or wrap up your day with a glass of wine out here. When you want to venture away from the house you’ll find yourself one mile away from the nearest winery with Kendall-Jackson, La Crema and Korbel being not much further. Beer lovers will find Russian River Brewing Co., Lagunitas, Bear Republic and HenHouse are all right here too.
When you first enter this home you’ll notice a complimentary bottle of wine from the host’s own winery, Hermosillo Family Wines. Their current vintage includes a rosé (elegant & balanced) and a pinot noir (full-bodied & complex). Both are delicious and one will be handpicked for you. Enjoy!
The KITCHEN is built around a center island that serves as a dining counter as well. All you need to cook any meal or serve up delivery/take-out food is here. Modern appliances: a blender, toaster, coffee maker, double-door refrigerator with ice-maker and so much more. Tools of the culinary trade: pots, pans, platters, dishes and utensils.
A solid dining table fills the DINING ROOM. Four chairs flank this table along with seating for two at the counter, and interestingly a lower side table perfect for the kids to eat at (makes them feel grown up having their own table).
The LIVING ROOM has a leather sofa, matching loveseat and end chair (all of which are motorized recliners). Lean back to get a theater-like view of the wall-mounted TV or relax around the gas fireplace.
All three bedrooms have their own bathrooms, plenty of closet space and are dressed with high-quality linens.
BEDROOM #1 is downstairs and has a queen bed along with a dedicated work desk and chair. This bedroom is especially convenient for any guests with mobility issues as they will never need to go upstairs; and will not miss out on a minute of the fun around the kitchen and living room.
BEDROOM #2 and BEDROOM #3 are upstairs. One has a California-king bed and a huge lounge chair; the other has a queen-size sleigh bed.
The BACKYARD is furnished with a six-top glass table ideal for alfresco dining, or enjoying a bottle of wine beneath the strings of Edison-style light bulbs. Along with the table, two fluffy red lounge chairs and a decent-sized grass area provide views of a beautiful field along the back edge of the property, or to lean back and stare up at the stars.
A WASHER and DRYER are here for your convenience. The fastest Wi-Fi Comcast offers is installed here.
You’re provided with TWO PARKING SPACES in the driveway. Extra cars can park on the street in this safe neighborhood.
Your PETS are welcome. Please let us know if your furry friends will be accompanying you at the time of booking. A $200 per-stay charge is required.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The checkin/checkout process was simple. The house is in a very nice neighborhood. The views out the back were peaceful. The house is nicely decorated and the layout of all the bedrooms having a private bathroom was perfect for our stay. Loved our visit to wine country and we can't wait to return!

This home was very comfortable for me and my family!

Arrived in town with no access code to get into the house.
While at dinner I called the host and was told the location was unavailable!! Stranded in town with no place to stay.
I had to initiate contact to find this out.
After multiple messages prior with the host!
Worked with VRBO representative to get a refund and they nicely offered to provide reimbursement funds to find a place for the night.
. First time in over 20 years with VRBO (Home Away) that I was left abandoned by a host.

Nice location for wine country. Well equipped and maintained.

Loved the 3 bedroom w/ attached bath setup. That was our main reason for picking this property.
Nice little backyard, with plenty of seating. A fire pit would have made it perfect.
Very comfortable house, handy location, nice setup.
This house will be our first stop next trip to wine country.

5 stars across the board!!!!!
This stay from start to finish was excellent!!
While no place is perfect, this comes pretty close. We would recommend this location, house and host to everyone staying in the Santa Rosa area.

Great location with wineries, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great space for friends to relax and enjoy being together. Owner was very responsive to our needs. Highly recommended!!

Loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths for 3 adult couples. The grill was a great bonus for cooking dinners, however the sprinklers came on during dinner time every evening while we were eating on the patio. Yes, we got sprayed. Kitchen was well stocked. Owner was very responsive to our requests for repairs and supplies but by the third day we gave up and stopped asking for help. Plenty of hot water for showers. Biggest issue was unable to control the a/c by the NEST thermostat. There were no instructions about how to operate it and it reverted to preset temperatures which we were not able to control. There is no internet in this unit!!! The modem and the router are located in the unit next door and we could only use the internet in the living room. No internet in the bedrooms and no TV’s. If you like to sleep in a cool, dark, quiet bedroom, this is not the place for you! Two of three beds were very noisy/squeaky and woke us up whenever either of us moved. Need ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and room darkening shutters or curtains. Highly recommend the owner gets new beds, put internet in this unit and get rid of the NEST or provide instructions about how to operate it.

Can't say enough good things about this VRBO. It was even better than the pictures, most well-equipped VRBO I've ever been in. And nice quality. Leather furniture, nice thick towels, crisp quality bedding, lots of little extras in the bathrooms and kitchen. Four of us old friends getting together and catching up. It was terrific and we will do it again. Thanks Cynthia.

Very enjoyable- great privacy and communal space- close to everything we wanted to do- experience great restaurants, wineries, gardens and fun.

Everything was good we just had a small issue with the door not locking when we left one day. The manager ended up giving us the second door code and all was good. It worked when we come in later that day so all was good.

We all enjoyed our stay. Even though the property is in a dense neighborhood, it backs up to open land, so it didn't feel confined and afforded quite nice views of sunrises over the mountains. Outside space is small but adequate. A few minor maintenance items knocked our rating down to a 4 from a five, but we'd stay here again.

The accommodations were very good. Great set up with 3 bedrooms w/connected bathrooms. 1 bedroom on first floor great for anyone with mobility issues. Beds were very comfortable- a real plus. Kitchen was well stocked and had modern appliances.
The central location is great for visiting wine country. Minutes from Healdsburg or the Sonoma area vineyards. Would recommend!

Very well appointed house and very clean. Comfortable for 6 of us. Cynthia was very accommodating and great to work with too! Fantastic location for us to do all the things we like to do in Wine Country / Sonoma County. Whether that is a quick jaunt out to Bodega Bay, a trip to Napa County or wineries in Russian River, Dry Creek and Sonoma Valley. Easy drive to Lake Sonoma. Healdsburg, downtown Santa Rosa and Sebastopol all within 15 minutes. We have visited Sonoma/Napa for many years and this has been the best location for us! Definitely will be back!

Very homely and clean!
The space is really well planned, with two bedrooms with attached bathrooms each upstairs and a bed and bathroom downstairs. They have the cutest backyard facing the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous sunset in the evenings. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with everything we needed. Location wise, it was about a 12 to 15 min drive from Santa Rosa downtown. Quiet and pretty neighborhood.
My only qualm with the place is that they had just one trash can and I wanted to ensure glass doesn't end up in landfill. So we segregated the trash ourselves. But that's no biggie at all. I recommend this place 100% and we'll definitely be booking for future travels again. It's perfect for two families.

In the midst of it all
We visited the area a few day's before a family wedding in San Francisco. Enjoyed our stay out of the city. Perfect area with a close by walking path that connects to other neighborhoods. Less than an hour drive to several excellent wineries and plenty of restaurants in Santa Rosa. House had everything we needed. Very quiet but for a little freeway noise outside. We really enjoyed all the beautiful roses, rosemary hedges & other landscaping.

Great space and well stocked!
My family of 5 adults came and stayed at this property and it is a fantastic size. Everyone had their own room and bathroom which was a treat. The house is one of the best stocked houses we have rented. Lots of kitchen items and choices for bath items. We would definitely stay here again!
