We had a delightful week here. You walk out the front door and you’re on the lake. We spent the week swimming, canoeing, kayaking and reading lakeside. The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed and the whole process from reservation through check out was smooth. We will be back!

This is our 3rd year on Salmon Point! We love everything about this home. It checks all the boxes! Perfect size, water and lake are fantastic. Easy to navigate the lake. Beach is great and nice and private. Matt is wonderful to deal with for any issues at all - very responsive. Bridgton is a great town with lots of food choices. Groceries are close by too. We are hoping to be back next year and every year after!

We had a terrific time! Great weather and terrific location!!
Very clean and comfortable! We all loved the easy access to the water!
The next door neighbors were very nice and suggested a couple nearby car rides which we really enjoyed!
We would highly recommend staying here, we look forward to a return visit!
Thanks, Rick&Roxy

The beach and ease of getting in and out of the water.. the screened porch was super for cribbage and meals.. and comfy couch options for a late night movie was just perfect. We spied two bald eagles!..& viewed a full moon rise seated around the camp fire. Would highly recommend!

Lovely home in a wonderful location. House was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The private sandy beach was perfect for my family with young children. We canoed, swam, and fished every day. Neighbors were friendly and shared fishing advice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reservation, check in, check out, and communications with owner were easy as can be. We even tried to book again, but the house was unavailable for any dates that worked for us. We would welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

The house is well equipped, the dock works for a 22’ pontoon boat, and the private beach is perfect for the group to hang out.

This is our ideal vacation venue! It checked all the boxes and was fantastically appointed. There wasn't one detail left undone. This was our second year on Salmon Point and we are hoping to make this an annual memory! From the beautiful house to the lake, dock and amazing huge beach. We couldn't ask for more. There is so much to do and just taking a cup of coffee and sitting on the dock or in your boat on the dock - was the ideal morning office check in. The master bedroom is something out of a picture book. The neighborhood is full of welcoming and friendly people. Our host is so approachable and helpful. It is a short hop by boat to downtown and the causeway. I can't say enough about this once in a lifetime find - hope to be back for more next year.

A Beautiful Lake House, Done Right!
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed 10 days in this lovely lake house. We loved every minute there, especially the screen porch, the views from the upper deck, the canoe, & of course, the new dock & "perfect" beach. The clear water & gradual sandy bottom entry is perfect for all ages. In June, the water is chilly, but we still enjoyed several swims & appreciated the water "noodles" to use. The lake is funny because the wind changes directions & can kick up waves from the north or the south. The good part about the location & wind is that we never saw either a black fly or a mosquito during our time there (June). The canoe is great & we took it out several times to go fishing or to explore the coast. Our niece came to visit overnight & a couple other relatives came for lunch & thoroughly enjoyed the home.
The home appears recently remodeled, is very clean & comfortable. We enjoy cooking and this kitchen is well-stocked with virtually any pot, pan, or utensil one could want. Appliances were all in good working condition and the climate controls were perfect. The hosts have been very generous with the linens, supplying kitchen, bath, & beach towels. The beds/sheets were comfortable as were the living room chairs/recliners/sofa. The fluffy throws were appreciated on a couple chilly evenings. The decor & layout is attractive & functional making the house very comfortable & easy to love.
It is clear that the hosts have worked to make this home a joy for others. They even provided a bundle of firewood for the firepit. We started to set the firepit up to use but the strong wind changed our minds and we left it ready for the next vacationers instead.
The neighborhood is quiet & we did enjoy walking the loops around the campground next door. Some families & kids came daily to the public access area (which is adjacent to the house beach) but it was no problem. We spent most of our days on the porch or in the living room although we ventured out for a short hike at Pondicherry Park in Bridgeton, & took a day trip (a 2-hour drive) out to the Camden/Rockport coast to see the tower view from Mt. Battie, grab a lobster roll, & picnic at Owl's Head lighthouse park. We also took an evening to tour Long Lake on the Songo River Queen (a replica paddlewheel boat) out of Naples. We intended to eat out more, but the house was so nice we just cooked in and enjoyed it instead! Thank you to the hosts/owners for creating such a beautiful vacation experience for us!

Relaxful
First, I am a very fussy person when it comes to cleanliness. This place fit my criteria for clean. Neighbors were great, weather was great, and it was very relaxing. It was our staycation because we had no kitchen to cook for Thanksgiving. Everything was there to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Possibly thinking of making it a tradition.

Fantastic property!
A piece of paradise on Long Lake. Property was clean and very well kept. Very quiet area, yet only a couple of minutes from great restaurants, marinas and shopping. Communication with owner was quick and informative. Looking forward to next year’s stay at this property!

Great stay at a lovely spot
The house worked out great for our family and dog. Lots of room and so great to have the beach right out the front door. We enjoyed swimming and canoeing and the sunrises and sunsets. We look forward to returning!

Great Family Vacation!!
This house was the perfect family vacation spot. We had 4 adults and 2 infants and plenty of room. The house was fully stocked with linens, clean towels, soap, and basic kitchen items you could need. The beach was awesome for toddlers and the location on the lake was great. We had a great week and would 10/10 book to stay here again!!

Family vacation
Absolutely beautiful house. Very comfortable. The sandy beach was great and perfect for my nephew and dog. Wish we had known the kayak wasn’t available to use before we got there. Also didn’t realize it was next to a public beach and it was a bit busier than I was expecting. Overall great stay would definitely stay here again.

While the square footage on paper is small, the place feels huge with plenty of room. With 4 adults and 3 kids we never tripped over each other and had plenty of space. The beach is perfect and the dock is a nice addition. Kitchen and bathroom had plenty of amenities and you are 5 minutes from downtown Britgton if you need anything. We felt secluded/private but still connected with Brigton and Naples a stones throw away.

Such a great vacation
The home was very nice; the private sandy beach was an unexpected gift. We stayed for two weeks with friends and both couples had our kids come up for the middle weekend. A fourth bedroom would have helped but one air bed and we made it work. I’d definitely stay here again.

Location is lovely on Long Lake. The house interior was spacious, comfortable, and clean (the screen porch needed some love) - lovely view from the master bedroom! Neighbors are cordial - there is a campground with seasonal residents as you enter the private road (they have their own beach). There is a small semi-private public access beach with picnic tables next to the property. Our time was 2nd week of June, i.e. - no review on summer capacity. A kids activity center with go-carts and very nice miniature golf, Sebago Lake Golf Club (also very nice) are conveniently on Rt 302 before you get to the lake house. Hannaford grocery store is very close by and the center of Bridgton is also. It has a unique walking area called the Pondicherry Park Loop. You will also find assorted shops and Sammy's Scoops - delicious ice cream! The lake house owners responded to a question in a timely manner. We were fortunate to have good weather and got to see a fabulous full length rainbow over the lake after a brief rain storm - the storm clouds were even awesome too! And a little family of ducks came by every day on their own adventures. We hope to return also.
