This beautiful home was perfect for our family for six adults and four small children. We live in three different states, so coming to your house allowed us to spend extended time together.
One of our favorite activities was flying paper airplanes from the balcony of the top floor to the living room. Thank you for leaving two small foam airplanes to inspire us. The living room was a great place to gather to read a pile of children’s books intermittently throughout our days with our little ones. At night, the adults enjoyed watching football games together. The dining room table was just the right size for us – so glad there was a high chair for the baby – thank you! The kitchen allowed us to fix our meals and had plenty of room for us to be together and have little ones playing at our feet while we cooked. Much running took place in the side yard – balls were kicked, bubbles blown, grasshoppers were caught and released and little bodies happily rolled down the hill over and over.
Even the driveway became a place of play with brightly colored sidewalk chalk creations.
We were grateful for our comfortable beds at night and our grandchildren especially enjoyed their baths in the big bathtub off of the master bedroom.
We highly recommend this Bridgeton get away

We decided to take our family holiday on the road this year (we live in Michigan). I've always wanted to visit Maine and after reviewing this posting, everyone got on board with me. This home is absolutely beautiful! Everything is in great condition and it was squeaky clean, too. Plenty of room for four families to spread out. The only downside, no fault to the owner, was the lack of water access. There are other homes down by the lake that are private property. So you can see the lake from the house but you can't simply walk down there to fish or swim, etc. because then you'd be trespassing. Driving to the closest lake was about 15 minutes, then you had to trek down a trail a ways between two private properties to get to a very small beach-about a 10 minute walk. With no easy access to water, it was a little hard trying to figure out what to do with the kids everyday, but we were able to find some places nearby that kept everyone having fun. Owner was quick to respond to all questions and very accommodating when I had to change the departure date. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with me and my family!

Our family does a group vacation every year and this was our first time in Maine. Our group this year consisted of 2 seniors, 5 adults and 5 teens. This house was wonderful for our group. The house is beautiful and was fully equipped for all of our needs. The 3 levels of the house gave everyone plenty of room to spread out. We ventured out to Portland, Kennebunkport and York. I would highly recommend this home.

This beautiful house is just perfect for a family get-together. The layout of the house gives plenty of room and privacy for everyone. At the same time the living room is large and convenient for spending time together. I would suggest that a Guest Information book be available inside the house to help guests....the kitchen light switches were tricky!

The home was great and the whole process was very smooth. Several days we were there were >90 degrees and the house stayed cool the entire time. Would definitely return.

House was perfect for family vacation in Maine. Close by the water and hiking. Hosts were communicative and addressed any requests I, or others in the house, had. They even mailed some items left by members of my family home to them, as the house is 13 hours away! Super kind! Thanks for the great stay!

Great House
The overall experience was great. Beautiful house and great host. However the house does not have direct access to the lake which was a little disappointing and the fridges barely worked resulting in us having to throw away $400 dollars worth of meat and food that went bad overnight.

Great time relaxing with family
Had a great week away relaxing with family! The house was very well laid out and comfortable for a multigenerational family get away. Plenty of common gathering space and still room to get some alone time space. Very comfortable beds and downstairs area was perfect for kids to have their own space. Check in was very easy and hosts were very communicative.

Great Family Vacation
The house was more then what we expected. Plenty of space inside the house for everyone, two washers and dryers. Close to a lot of fun spots for the children and adults. We highly recommend this home for a family vacation. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Deeply Disappointing
This is a spacious home on three levels with well appointed furnishings. However, the beauty of the home was diminished by the lack of attention to detail by the manager.
The listing indicated that this home is air conditioned. This is misleading. There is no air conditioning on the lower level and the main and upper levels are “cooled” by noisy room units that are ineffective.
The beds were not made when we arrived and the linens at the foot of the beds were in some instances not the right size and others were missing pieces. The bathroom towels were second rate and worn. The kitchen that was generally well stocked but was missing a complete set of dinner plates and cereal bowls.
The floors on the main level were dirty, dusty, and had an abundance of pet hair. The kitchen counter tops were gritty. There were active bird nests on both the front and rear porches.
The garage housed recreational vehicles and was not accessible. We had to carry groceries from the car to the door in the rain.
There were no instruction manuals for the kitchen appliances, televisions, or ceiling fans. There was not a full spare tank of propane for the outdoor grill. The table lamp in one bedroom was broken and in the same room the ceiling fan light was burnt out.

Gorgeous home above Long Lake for a family birthday week!
This house is spacious, beautiful, and well equipped for 3 couples and a single adult. The lower level has a complete kitchen in addition to the main floor one and there is plenty of space on the deck, chairs, a fire pit, and a gas grill. Beds are very comfortable and linens are provided. Bathrooms included toiletries. There is no direct lake access, although you can see the lake. You can bring or rent a boat and swim at public beaches at Sebago State Park and other nearby lakes and ponds. We rented a boat in Naples for a day and visited Pondicherry Park in Bridgton for trail walks. Marija the owner was very responsive to emails and provided some good information about the area.

Beautiful escape to the Lake Region
The home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful with a great view as well as privacy. We all had a relaxing time with plenty of close by lakes and hiking trails. Sebago Lake is a must see as well as Long Lake for boating options. Loved being able to sit on the desk and just read and enjoy a fire at night. The beds are exceptionally comfortable . The host/owner, Marija was so pleasant and accommodating. We have already referred two of our friends to the property.
