Loved the "fancy hogan"! It was great for our family and our dogs loved it as well. The weather was nice, and the AC unit upstairs really helped on one particularly warm day.

Situated between Flagstaff and Williams. It was easy to get everywhere and nice to return to a comfy place at the end of the day. The wooded property and the large decks were favorite spots for the kids.

My kids love the pine trees on the property. The cabin is centrally located and we are glad that it’s not that far from the paved road. Thank you!

Great place to unwind and relax... centrally located to various attractions. Would definitely stay there again!!

Lovely location, quiet and home was accurately described in the VRBO materials. This is the second time we stayed in this home. There are some needs that should be considered in the not too distant future. The property could be enhanced by a deep cleaning inside and out. The property is quite nice located close to Williams and an easy drive to the Grand Canyon. Clear nights make it a great location to star watch. Would we return for a third stay? Yes, we would.

Everything was fantastic! Only thing to complain about was that the drain for the shower was clogged and I had to fix it myself. Other than this, it was a great stay. Lot of dishes too (no dishwasher). Other than these suggestions, the location is prime and the house is amazing and close enough and far enough from busy flagstaff! Thank you for the hospitality. Would also recommend a trashbin as well.

This cabin is very lovely. Vance, the owner communicated all instructions and i had no issues at all. Will definitely, visit this town again.
Thank you for allowing us to use your cabin.

Host was super accommodating and very responsive. House was clean and we had everything we needed for a short getaway. Area has excellent hiking spots and is not too far from other great places to explore

This cabin is perfect for our family. Peaceful setting with an open floor plan - it felt like home. Great place to celebrate our daughter's graduation. It was perfect.

Winter Getaway
This cabin was located on a nice piece of land and the kiddos had plenty of room to sled right on the property! The upstairs view was amazing and the family room was cozy! It snowed the whole time we were there and it was beautiful. Vance the property owner was very helpful and easy to contact with concerns or questions.

Quiet and peaceful
Very quiet and peaceful property. The back yard is a short walk to the national forest on the back end. We heard nothing from any neighbors whatsoever and spent most of our time relaxing on the decks. It was a cold few days that rained so the fireplaces both downstairs and up made a big difference! the heaters take some time to heat up but overall great. We made great use of the little getaway and look forward to maybe returning here in the future.

Currently Misrepresented
These are the amenities that were not available, but that were listed on this listing: NO internet, NO house instructions, NO gas (not wood) stoves were working, NO filtered water, NO entertainment system in upstairs living room (just Dish, with no internet we could get no movies except live TV), NO DVR downstairs in family room. We ended up leaving a day early. Very disappointing, especially because this was my birthday getaway, and the cabin is cute, and it could have been a relaxing, cozy stay in the pines. Without internet, and with very unstable cell phone connectivity, I could not check in with my business. Without the fireplaces, we had no desire to stay. Even the bedroom ceiling fan is broken and only works at top extreme speed. If you are counting on the above listed ammenities, they are not there. Check with the owner for those fixes before booking.

Beautiful Setting
The cabin is wonderful. Sits next to the National Forest. There are homes nearby and across the street, but still felt secluded. The photos on the Internet show the gas fireplaces working, but they do not. That was what we were looking forward to. The cabin has a second floor which overlooks the trees, very nice! Fed the squirrels and birds. Very enjoyable. We were very comfortable there. Would go back again.

Perfect Getaway
Stayed for a full week and could not have been happier with the property. Better than advertised. Well stocked kitchen made cooking super convenient. Close to nature, attractions and Flagstaff. Would absolutely come back.

Nice unique cabin
My son and I went up to Williams and had a great time at the car show, Bearizona, and Whitehorse lake. Everything was as described and a great fun cabin in the woods. No dishwasher but not a big deal. The host was great and readily available.

We spent 2 nights here. While I was concerned about warmth, it was quickly abated! We were extremely comfortable. It was a great place, most everything you need is available in this cabin. It was very nicely decorated and easy to operate everything. The owner was so pleasant and easy to talk with!
I highly recommend this cabin!

A wonderful time was had by all!
We spent a full week at this cabin and had a wonderful time. there were 6 of us plus our puppy, and no one felt cramped! upstairs and downstairs so plenty of rm for everyone. Master bedrm upstairs with a fold out couch in the living rm. 2 bedrms downstairs. all were really comfortable! Cabin was clean and well stocked. Dealing with Vance was a pleasure! Am hoping he will have us again next year for our fishing trip! We used the grill every nite! The wild life was just what we needed to relax lots of birds and squirrels, even a couple deer came thru. truly a wonderful getaway! I did buy an egg pan as there was not one that was non-stick. Hey its a rental, small thing! Ice in the door doesn't work that great, would buy a bag of Ice and did just to have. even tho they ask you to conserve water, we always had good pressure! Great place, great value! this is the place to stay! Thanks again Vance for letting us stay in your lovely second home!

Unique, quiet and fun!
The directions were spot on as we arrive late Friday evening. In the mornign we found squirrels and birds on the deck and fed them some sunflower seeds. The squirrels were not hesitant to hang around and visited throughout the weekend. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. We are planning to come back again.
Take a larger frying pan as the two we found were not non stick and too small to cook for the 4 of us at once. Also the gas fireplaces were not functional.

Peaceful getaway!
I stayed here over 4th of July weekend with my husband and two teenaged daughters. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and perfect for families with older children. Our two girls took over the downstairs while my husband and I enjoyed the master bedroom suite and balconies. The cabin was very clean and well equipped - the upstairs kitchen, dining room, great room area had great views of the forest which made cooking and meals very enjoyable. We loved the quiet with no wifi and only spotty cell phone service. Even my 13 year old daughter adapted after a brief freak-out upon arrival. The "town" of Parks is almost non-existent and it is a 15 mile drive to Flagstaff or Williams - so be prepared to bring your own food. The kitchen is great and has any type of cooking utensil or appliance that you could ever need, including a waffle iron, and there is a nice BBQ on the balcony. We look forward to coming back in the winter.

Wonderful Cabin! Wonderful Experience!
We rented this cabin for the weekend rather than a hotel so we could be in the Flagstaff area for our daughter's graduation from NAU....and so glad we did. The family was all able to be together and had such a great time. The cabin was all that was promised and so much more. Everything we needed was there, even the extra space to set up the "cake table" to honor our graduate. We loved the uniqueness of the cabin and it felt very roomy and comfortable. Another thing the cabin offered over a hotel was the great outdoors! The two grandkids never got bored since they were able to go outside and play and discover. They would have never been able to experience this had we stayed in a hotel. And we could always see where they were with all of the huge windows! The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable, and we found it very clean. Vance couldn't have been more accommodating with answering my questions very promptly and even little special requests. We had such a wonderful time making good family memories there and everyone wants to go back in the winter to play in the snow! Definitely will be returning!

Quiet and Peaceful
My husband, teenage son and two young adult daughters, along with our two dogs, stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was very nice and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The floorplan plan is nice especially if you have older children. All the windows on the second floor give you the feeling of being outside and the wrap around deck is nice. Flagstaff is far enough away but close enough if you want to go into town to catch a movie or have dinner. This was our first time renting a house and it was a positive experience. Vance is very prompt at returning phone calls or e-mails. We would definitely stay again.

Great Weekend Getaway from the "city life"
Me and my wife went along with our children and had a blast. Kids sledding is nearby and there is a great fire pit out in front of home that is very pleasing at night to sit around with marshmallows on a stick! Its like having the camping yet a shower and hot meal are just a short walk back inside the home. Owner is very nice and made sure we had a great time and were fully supplied with all amenties we could want. Thanks again and I hope to be back before the year is up!

Everything promised and then some.
This was an excellent place to take the family for Christmas. It had all the necessitie. It was everything promissed from Vance and then some. The kids were able to go snowboarding 10 feet away from the door. I didn't have to worry about getting up early to take the kids snowboarding because this place had it all. If kid got tired she would just have to walk inside to take a rest while the others continued to play. There was no, O.K. kids we gotta go back because your sister's tired. Everybody played when they wanted and came in when they wanted. My wife went out for a jog and she loved the atmosphere. After the 3rd. day, I asked myself, what does my house have that this one doesn't and my answer was a garbage disposal, other that that , it had it all and a few extras. Vance, you have to take some new pictures of the house, because it is much prettier than what you show on the internet. Vance, if you would allow my family and I to rent it in the near future, we would be most greatful.

Cant go wrong
Great location (between Flagstaff and Williams - on way to Grand Canyon), great scenery/hiking all around, nice home in a quiet area, and good value for the size. It was just my wife, 8-month old daughter, and 2 dogs -- was a pretty big place for just us, but was still welcome as the price was right. The value goes up if you have more than two. I probably wouldn't sleep more than 6 unless half are kids.

Loved this cabin!
This cabin was perfect!! Unique, cozy, and had EVERYTHING we needed for the week! We had a great time playing games, visiting Williams, taking walks, and sitting on the HUGE portch! We stayed with 6 adults, 3 small children, and 2 dogs, and there was planty of space for all of us! Everything in the home was homey, but in great condition! We would HIGHLY recommend this cabin!!

UNIQUE AND ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS CABIN
not sure what Bob is talking about, obviously he was having a bad day no matter where he is at. Obviously if he needed more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for his stay he is not a happy camper in the first place. Our experience was awesome, the cabin was very clean we used the toaster that was provided. All towels were easily available. I am very picky about kitchens and we found this kitchen not only perfectly equipped, but very clean. Definitely will return. We recommend this cabin to everyone.

Very nice cabin
Cabin had everything we needed, saw a few deer nearby, great location, the boys loved having their own downstairs TV. One of the doors would not close all the way but this was a minor inconvenience. Overall a gorgeous cabin, and a great vacation experience.

No Cleaning Deposit not Necessarily a Good Thing
It is a very nice cabin in a beautiful area but listed below are items of concern:
1. We left the cabin much cleaner than it was when we arrived. I recommend you request cleaning deposits from your guests. We washed many items before we used them like dishes, the coffee pot especially and pots and pans because they were not very clean. Also, there is a great deal of dust and dirt on the ceiling fans and cobwebs throughout the cabin.
2. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper in the entire cabin. We searched everywhere and couldn’t find any extra.
3. There were no paper towels.
4. There was one washcloth in the master bath, none in the downstairs bath. I finally found about 4 or 5 in the downstairs bedroom closet which weren’t suitable to be used until we washed them.
5. There were no dish rags to wash dishes with just a couple of dirty sponges that should have been thrown away.
6. There was no toaster advertised.
7. There was no internet access as advertised.
Personally, when I stay somewhere I don’t mind paying a cleaning deposit because then you don’t have to deal with most of those items above. With as nice a cabin as you have in such a beautiful area, you could generate a lot of repeat business by eliminating these problem issues.
As it stands now I would not be a repeat customer.

Perfect
If you are looking for total relaxation and beauty, choose this cabin to stay in, even if it's a weekend. Its just outside of town, on the side of the mountain, providing great views & cool breezes. Big cozy sofa's, chairs, comfy beds, and an open eating area joins the family room. After a hectic day visiting Cardinal Camp, we could not wait to get back to the cabin, relax & enjoy the peace and quiet. We only used the upstairs..but there is another floor below with plenty of sleeping arrangments & a smaller family room...so perfect for a family vacation! We will visit again soon, and I have already sent the link to my friends. Thank you Vance for sharing your unique and awesome cabin.

Unique cabin in the Pines
This property is a beautiful holiday retreat. It is as described and was clean and well maintained and equipped. We would love to return again.
The peace and tranquility of it's setting was wonderful. We were visited by Squirrels and Blue Jays on the balcony every day. We also saw Elk by the roadside less than a mile away.
We used the cabin as a base to visit the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon, The Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, Jerome and Sedona. All well worth a visit.
The stunning landscape and geology is just Wow.
