This large open floor plan chalet is situated on a sprawling secluded property bordered by two babbling brooks and miles of beautiful wooded trails. Enjoy your morning coffee on the wraparound deck or relax in the evening around the fire pit.
Special features include electric fireplace, outdoor fire pit, bar, pool table, theatre room, loft with twin bed, 4 private bedrooms, 2 full baths. Guests must have ability to navigate stairs.
Children can enjoy hours of outdoor activities in their own private playhouse with a two-story slide, basketball court, or fishing in the Brook.
Just minutes down the hill in the quaint town of Warrensburg, you can find several grocery stores, coffee shops, antiques and parks along the Schroon River. Lake George Village is 10-minutes away, with plenty of fun and entertainment for the entire family.

What a beautiful house, beautiful yard and great location. The house is secluded but yet very close to everything. Property Manager/Hostess gets an A+. Very responsive all through the process of booking and fixing a minor issue with the AC. I would definitely go back to this house again!

Beautiful driveway except a low branch scratched my pickup as there was no way to avoid it. First impression is not the impressive looking house but a deck blocked off with yellow tape which means we're going to be paranoid all weekend about our kids going over there. Thanks for making your problem our problem. The pictures are misleading because there are several pictures of the deck with no issues in the listing. One picture is taken from the deck. House looks great and we really enjoyed the bottom floor pool table and movie room. Indoor staircases are steep and since there is no bathroom on the bottom floor you will use them a lot. That bottom staircase is unsafe if you are old or very young because there is no railing for the last couple of steps. House was fairly clean but there were issues if you looked. The downstairs bathroom floor was dirty. Bring your own Keurig. They do not have one. First time ever that has happened. Maybe we've just been lucky up until now.The master bedroom is up another steep flight of steps. You will get a workout. On the first night we were all awakened at 3:30 am because there carbon monoxide alarm starting chirping because of a dead battery. It took a while to find it and even when unplugged and battery out it kept chirping. I had to go put it in my truck. I messaged host and she bs'd me that the batteries were changed regularly. Not true because the batteries said Kiddie which is the brand name of the detector. They came in the box.

We had a wonderful time! This home was perfect for our group which included 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a 4 year old. We all had our separate spaces which were comfortable and clean. We loved the rustic vibe and unique layout of the house. The weather didn’t cooperate but we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful property as much as we could. We cooked most of our meals in the house so my only suggestion would be to bring the pots/pans you might specifically need for your meals (i.e. a large sautee pan) but in general the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Conveniently located and a quick ride to the village of Lake George. We look forward to coming back!

The house was a great - we skied at Gore and it’s about 20 mins away. We found great food right within 5 min driving location - so the town is worth exploring. There was plenty of rooms/beds to sleep, great water pressure for showers and a living room/kitchen open space to hang out in.

Property is very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. House is comfortable and has everything you need. Close enough to Lake George yet far enough to get away from the noise. Check in was easy. Hosts are pleasant and don't bother you. Great stay!

House was just a few miles from downtown Warrensburg and was very quiet. Kids loved the play structure, creek, toys and board games. House was comfortable with lots of stairs and flagstones to navigate. Everything was set and in working order so little need to communicate with owner but she was very responsive during booking process. Only one single bed which was in an open loft. This didn’t work well for our particular group with young children. Lots to do in Warrensburg and nearby Lake George.

This was perfect for our family. Six adults and three kids fit great.
Top things about the house were CLEANLINESS (super important to me and I was very happy)! Nice big yard; responsiveness of Laney; privacy. We had easy access to Saratoga, Boltons Landing and the Village. Other family stayed blocks away from the Village and if that’s your thing then this place might feel too remote but my family enjoys sitting out on the deck or playing yard games. And we were still within 20-25 minutes of all the fun things to do! Kitchen was well appointed and had all we needed to cook and a grill with full tank of propane!!!
Bring corn hole or wiffle ball and you’ll be set! Not really bothered by bugs in the yard except some gnats after a rainy morning. Nice to hear the birds and nearby brooks too. Great fire pit for evenings relaxing with plenty of room for all of us. Play set for my littlest one was sturdy and fun for her.
Wishes: kitchen wasn’t really big enough for our party to sit inside comfortably but we made due since we love the outdoors and there was plenty of deck space and a nice table to enjoy meals Al fresco. Basement was an open futon not bed but my young adult son didn’t care!
This was a great place for us and I highly recommend!!!! Felt like home as soon as we got there. Had a wonderful week there.

Due to a last minute mess-up on another rental property, we cancelled that property and made reservations at this property for the very next day! The owner was responsive and had the cabin ready when we arrived. His responsiveness saved our vacation!
The house was comfortable and the rooms were good-sized. The kitchen had useful pans, plates, etc. The outside had various seating arrangements and features that worked well with the spacious yard. We were hoping for a dark sky to view stars, and it would have been a good place for that except for the weather! But we did get one peep at the Milky Way.
We highly recommend this rental.

The house was up a 1.2 mile rural road, and it was quiet. The house has character, plenty of space, and the property is large with a brook, a swing, a fire pit, and a basketball court. It was a wonderful place for a family of 4 to stay, and it accommodates up to 10.

The property was very nice. The inside was clean. The bedrooms suited all of us. (An upstairs area with a king sized bedroom and a loft area with a single bed.) it was perfect for our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren (3 and7), downstairs a queen sized bedroom for me and my husband and a room for our adult son. 3 Family Winter Stay
Great house with many tvs and lots of area to play. Kids can have the ground floor with pool table while you relax on the first floor. Nice hill outside for sledding as well as a fire pit for warmth.

Excellent family getaway
This cabin was perfect for our large family to meet over thanksgiving. It provided enough room for the kids to play and the family’s to hang out. The owner was always responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Serene Getaway
Wonderful stay! Incredibly peaceful and relaxing just listening to the babbling brook. Our family of 5 adults stayed here as part of a larger family reunion on Lake George. Plenty of room for all, whether playing pool, enjoying the great room or the expansive deck area. Laney is an awesome host and took time to recommend local hiking areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Family had a fantastic time.The house was everything as listed clean comfy wonderful listening to the flow from the water at night.Great hiking trail right on the property very secluded u feel like u are all alone.Also it's 15 min to the heart of Lake George and Laney was a pleasure to deal with the few times we had to contact her she answered very quickly I wish my wife answered me that quick.We had 4 grown kids 1 girlfriend 1 boyfriend and 2 dogs and had more then enough room.Everything was great!!!!

Family Get Away
We had a great time. The house and property did not disappoint. We loved being able to play outside in the spacious yard. On a rainy day we chose from the large assortment of board games, hooked up our video games or played pool. Morning coffee on the deck was very peaceful. Our host was nice and quickly available if we called or messaged.

Wonderful home for enjoying family
Awesome host, always available, answered immediately any texts we sent. Home was very clean and had much for enjoyment of all. There was room to spread out or engage with each other. Great porches, fire pit, play area and beautiful creek. We had 2 grandparents, mom and dad and six kids, ages 2 to 15. Would highly recommend and vacation there again.

Secluded house in awesome setting
Our family spent a 5 day weekend in this property. The garden is huge and completely secluded. Our kids had a blast with the hut, the basketball hoop, the pool table and all the board games in the house. The house is also well located, at about a 15 minutes drive from Lake George Village.

Family Ski Trip
We enjoyed ourselves truly at this property. It was very comfortable especially the bedrooms. The game room was a big plus for after ski drinks and some pool. The location worked out very well for skiing Gore or Whiteface and Lake George with other quint towns to explore in the area. Place turned out better then its description, we will be returning. Hiking group
This was a great weekend rental for a hiking weekend. We are from the Buffalo area so staying here put us 1 hr 20 minutes to the high peaks. The house was warm and accommodating and the host was communicating with text with to us and ready to make sure we had everything we need. Looks like a great location for a summer trip too and is family friendly. I would definitely stay again!

Family Getaway
House was great, plenty of towels for the 8 of us. Dogs had plenty of room witch was great seeing it was negative 5 degrees, and house was very warm, watched UFC fight in the basement bar played pool overall very enjoyable. Kids went to gore not a far ride and went snow boarding. Will deff be looking to return Thanks for the memories the Gallagher Family
