About this house rental

This is a beautiful home situated right on Lake Harris in lake county Florida. If you are looking for a little piece of paradise then this is it! Imagine having your cup of coffee in the morning and looking at the sunrise on the lake. This is a newly updated home built in 1950 with all original heart pine walls. It has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, large windows throughout the house so you can take advantage of the lake views. From here you can take advantage and see the 4th of July fireworks from multiple towns, this is quite the view. WiFi, cable, heat and air with all the basic necessities you may need throughout the house. There is also a washer and dryer for your use. We invite you to our little bit of paradise but we ask you that NO boat mooring or swimming to be done. please keep in mind every body of water in Florida could have venomous snakes and/or alligators and we ask that you stay out of the water and keep pets out too. The owner will NOT be held liable for any accidents. By renting this house you agree to these terms.
The nearby Mission Inn boasts 3 beautiful restaurants, fantastic golf facilities, and a spa all of which are open to the public. The outdoor and recreation experiences offered by Mission Inn Resort and Club are both diverse and unique. In addition to championship golf, the resort offers trap and skeet shooting, tennis, fresh water fishing, nature trails, a pool, playgrounds, restaurants and more.

At times you will see a lot of wildlife on the property from fox, peacocks, turkeys, and many different types of birds. It is also an easy walk to the Yalaha Bootlegging company and organic blueberry farm which has live music on Saturdays or to the famous German bakery which has live music as well on the weekends.

Lakeridge winery- Clermont's award winning winery offers tours and free tastings.

Mount Dora- Antiquing capital of the world! This quaint town is situated along a lake and is famous for all of it's antique shopping.

President's Hall of Fame- Located in Clermont, this wax museum features white house presidents from the past.

We had the best time in this beautiful, extremely clean home. The location was perfect for the fishing tournament we were in and the home was comfortable and well appointed with everything we might need. The host was very nice and explained everything we needed to know and was readily available to answer any questions we might have. We can't wait for the next tournament so we can book again.

We were in Leesbirg for a High School FL BASS NATION fishing tournament. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed wvery minute. There are.three bedrooms, one full bath and a half bath, a kitchen with a great view of the lake, a small reading room, a front room with a couch, a small fsmily room over looking the lake, and lastly an enclosed garhae. This was great for getting rods ready amd.playing cards. All rooms had individual AC units and fans which kept everyone comfortable. THE VIEW is amazing. We spent so much time sitting outside in the shaded yard watching the boats, wild life, and just relaxing. It was.exaclty what we all needed. The back yard is fenced, which was great for us because we had our dog. Location is great. There are two grocery stores, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and many other quick stops. We ate Brooklyns pizza after suggestion from host and everyone was pleased. I cant say enough about this house. The.host is amazing, helpful, and very responsive We will be back.

Had great time on our recent stay. Wonderful place to just sit in the huge backyard and relax a bit. Did a little fishing of the dock in the back and on my second cast had a 5 pound bass on the line. Didn't actually catch him but he's there. Come to think of it...it was probably 10 pounds. At least that's my story. Anyway, the house was clean and had everything we needed. We all really enjoyed our stay there and visiting the local eateries and pubs around the area. The owner was super responsive as well. Thank you for a great time.

Beautiful, serene, quiet, wildlife on property. Lake is so beautiful as are all lakes in area. House was very comfortable. Host very friendly, and loved Jake his dog who greeted us every time he saw us wagging his tail and “smiling” at us. We fell in love with the area.

We loved it since we turned the corner. Great southern hospitality, very clean, very quiet, dog friendly which is a huge plus, and just an awesome experience overall. Really enjoyed my stay. The property was extremely clean and had everything needed. The real bonus is “Big Jake”! Everyday he see my truck and boat pulling in and come out, stand up on fence and wait for the petting. Owner is very attentive and the only small request I had he handled it within minutes. Highly recommend this property.

This house was recently renovated and very clean. The host lives next door and is very friendly. We booked for a long spring break weekend but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to be on the boat but 1 day. We still had a great little vacation and I hope we can stay here again soon.

Wonderful lakeside getaway

We stayed at this lovely property over Christmas. Our dogs loved the spacious fenced in yard right on the lake . There is also a dock. The house itself was newly remodeled with brand new everything . It was very cold out but warm and toasty inside. We went and spent one day shopping and eating in Mt. Dora just half hour drive away. This is a very quiet neighborhood which is just what we needed. Edward was great host and we thank him for sharing. We will hopefully be back one day ! Carole P
