Welcome to the Cactus House! Our home is a sweet Santa Fe style abode located in southern Sierra Vista. Enjoy a quiet neighborhood with views of the Mule Mountains from the front porch and the Huachuca Mountains from the back porch. With three bedrooms and beautiful living areas inside and out, this is an easy place to call home. If you are coming to birdwatch, government business or when transitioning into a new home of your own, you are sure to enjoy this peaceful place.

This home was an absolute gem of a find! There were three spacious bedrooms with super comfy beds, two beautiful bathrooms, a large kitchen, and open living room. The decorations were so lovely, making the house feel like a home. The owner provided many amenities, which lessened the hassle factor of going to the store for one or two items. We absolutely loved staying at The Cactus House and will return again!! I give this home five stars!!

Nice roomy house in a very quiet neighborhood. Great mountain views out the front and back. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. The bed in the master bedroom is oh so comfy - makes for a great night's sleep. The house is located close to canyon entrances for birding and hiking. We would definitely stay here again when we are in Sierra Vista.

Wonderful place to stay! The kitchen was awesome and the rooms were very comfortable and homey. Everything we needed was supplied and it was very relaxing. Quiet neighborhood, just the right distance from stores and restaurants. The host was so sweet!! We’ll be back!

There were 4 of us. It was a nice location and a very nice home. We had everything we needed there and more. We were in the area as tourists and the location worked perfectly for Kartchner Caverns, Ramsey Canyon and Bisbee.

My elderly parents live in Hereford, which is about 15 miles away. I could not ask for a nicer place to stay while we were celebrating my pops 90th birthday. Communication was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

A great stay for us. The house was clean, well stocked and easy to access. The owners were friendly and timely with there communication. It was central to all the places we visited Tombstone, Bizbe, and Kartchner Caverns. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, clean, and all the comforts of home. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful home. I stayed for two weeks while teaching at Fort Huachuca. Couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else.

This was our 2nd stay at the property and we were impressed with the home's cleanliness and space just as it was last year when we 1st stayed.
Communications by Mary once again was EXCELLENT and we will continue to stay on our future visits!

Everything from the reservation request through check out was seamless. Communication with the host owner was easy. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials, and some pantry needs. There were plenty of towels for our use, and we did not run low on any necessary items that we needed during our stay. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again next year during my visit to family.

The house was very clean and nicely appointed. It is located on the bird migration path and had everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening.

Spacious yet cozy house. The neighborhood is peaceful and several miles from the main business areas (still only a 10 min drive.) The house has lots of amenities including almost every piece of cookware you might need (still looking for pasta strainer🙂). Very nice view from either the front porch or the back patio and birds galaore. Our favorite was listening to birdsong with breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Thank you!

We are from northern Minnesota and thought we would experiment with getting away. This was the convincing factor. The home is very spacious. We loved the location and neighborhood. Quiet and dark (at night) which is perfect for us. We brought our dog and she loved it too. Lots of hiking close by. The stores are 7 miles away but easy to get to. The neighbors were friendly too.

The home is located at the top of a very quiet cul-de-sac. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It is close to restaurants and grocery stores (about three miles to Fry’s).
Great location for day trips to Tombstone and Bisbee.

I stayed here with 3 of my girlfriends for a quiet getaway (writing retreat). We loved it! The house was immaculate, spacious and very nicely decorated. In the morning, we enjoyed espressos on the patio. Thank you for sharing such a great place!

We loved this house. Spacious but cozy and absolutely beautiful. The house is super clean and well equipped. The surrounding area is scenic and the outdoor space of the house takes full advantage of the mountain views. Communication with the host was easy. We will definitely be back!

This house was beyond all expectations was clean the kitchen was stocked on all the little things you might need was nice to have a washer and dryer the outside was beautiful and the view of the mountains from the back porch having coffee or breathtaking will definitely stay again. Second time visiting the Cactus House.
This home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. We stayed here previously to visit with my daughter and her family stationed at Fort Huachuca.
The home is decorated tastefully for the theme. Well appointed; kitchen and bathrooms. Love how there are things to help so you don't have to purchase everything little thing.
Love the BBQ patio area and sitting in the back yard on the porch. Very spacious and comfortable.

MUST Stay!
This home was nothing short of incredible and exceeded our expectations in every way! Mary was awesome and attentive the few times we communicated, the patios (front and back) were both taken advantage of, the home FULLY stocked, beds extremely comfortable, bathrooms nice and clean with great water pressure in very nice showers! Oh, and the electric fireplace we took advantage of every night!
Extra touch of allowing us to pull vehicle in garage was nice to have and property in a wonderful neighborhood, on a court which provided an extra layer of quietness.
There is a reason Mary is a SuperHost- a wonderful spacious home with an owner that was great to work with- we WILL be back!

Great house, Great location!
This house had everything we needed and more! Two large bedrooms with incredibly spacious closets, two very nice bathrooms with roomy showers, a great kitchen with a gas range and everything you need to prepare meals. The house is conveniently located near Ramsey Canyon and is a short drive to Bisbee, making a day trip there easy and convenient. And the owner is very responsive and easy to work with. If you want to stay in a spacious, well-maintained home in a great neighborhood, you won't be disappointed by this home! I would absolutely go back!!

Easy to book and easy to access property. Furnished well and comfortable. Kitchen has everything you might need. Host was available for any questions and replied quickly. 2 couples and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Best ever!
The Cactus House is a fantastic property. Have never stayed at such a spacious and lovely home. My wife and I plus another couple were very comfortable in this home and would loved to have stayed longer. Relaxing in front of the fireplace each evening, having LOADS of space (gigantic closets), enjoying the mountain views...all combined to make this a wonderful stay.

Very comfortable, quiet & spacious
This vacation home is very comfortable, nicely furnished, and located in very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen has a good assortment of dishes, pots, pans & other appliances making it easy & pleasant to cook for the family. Lovely sunset view over the mountains from the back porch’s Owners are very responsive.

Short drive to wonderful hiking, National Monuments and Nature Conservancy land.
Landlord was fantastic, very responsive to any of our needs. Wonderful place to stay!

Another great stay
This home is a gem in Sierra Vista. This was our second stay and it was just as comfortable as the first. We've experienced the home in the summer and now in the winter and the fireplace was a very nice amenity when the night time temps fell. We cooked a little more this time as well and the kitchen is very well equipped. Another wonderful stay!

Lovely home
This is a lovely, well thought out home. The owners provided everything from fluffy towels to basic kitchen supplies (even a YouTube video to operate the coffee maker). The owner also walked us thru a TV remote issue. I would definitely stay here again. Great for families visiting soldiers at Fort Huachuca.

Beautiful House in Southern Arizona
The house is beautiful and spacious. We only had 3 in our group, but the house could sleep a lot more. All of the bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms nice. The kitchen was well stocked, and had every spice available that you would need to cook in the house (if you choose to). The barbecue grill was amazing as well. Overall a very relaxing trip and we would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Just what we were looking for
Enjoyed our week long stay very much. The house is on a very quiet neighborhood. The house had all the amenities we needed, very comfortable beds and very spacious. Communication with property manager/owner was great. Enjoyed the back porch very much with the Mountain View and the use of the garage was a huge plus. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
