We stayed at the property for 1 night on our way to Door County for my sister’s wedding. (Our lodging reservation for the week didn’t start until Saturday, and I needed to be in Ephraim early in the day on Saturday to help run wedding errands) First of all, the price was great for everything the property offers. We loved the convenience of the attached garage, so we didn’t have to unpack everything and could be on our way easily in the morning. We had some trouble accessing the property because I couldn’t locate the keypad easily, leading to me leaving panicked messages for the owner as I was traveling with elderly family members who were getting concerned, but Shawn the owner and Kevin the manager both were very responsive, which I appreciated. Fantastic value, very comfortable, and right across the street from the grocery store… All in all… it was a lucky find!

Great place! Nice location and very clean. We were only in town for a night for a wedding but would love to come back to the area and stay here again. We have two young children and wished we had more time to check out the two playgrounds nearby.

Can walk everywhere. Came for breakfast on the farm and to explore the town my mom was from. Great weekend with lots of activities going on.

Our stay was very nice. It was very clean, quiet, and loved the garage for my vehicle. You can walk to the winery and restaurants. It is across the street from a grocery store which was nice.

Our group of 7 girlfriends stayed here last weekend as part of a winery tour. The location was prefect and the accommodations were spacious and very clean. Communication with the host was excellent. Loved our stay!

Accurate pictures and description of property. Nice perk to have the attached garage for unloading and loading. Gas fireplace was great for chilly nights and watching TV. Located within walking distance to downtown area. I would recommend checking out the bowling alley (Pizza Bowl). Great food and nice decor. Quite a few other eating establishments in Algoma as well. Easy day trip to shoot up to Door County too.

I had not been to Door County for many years and Algoma was the perfect place to stay. We made one trip up to Gills Rock and found that Sister Bay was too crowded for our liking. 5th Steele Place is a comfortable stay with everything we needed. Sturgeon Bay, Carlsville and Egg Harbor are a short drive away. My only regret was not spending more time in Algoma. Next time!

This was very nice clean and a quiet place. the only problem was getting the key pad on the door to light up so I could put the code in. once we figured it out it worked good.

Nice place. Convenient to grocery, shops and starting point to explore the peninsula. Kitchen stocked very well with everything you might need. Beds were comfy and it was nice the bedrooms had TVs. We enjoyed our stay!

We visited Algoma for a family get together. Our older son lives in a small house in town and doesn't have room for us to spend the night. The accommodations at 5 Steele were awesome. Our younger son is in a wheelchair and it was very easy and spacious to maneuver all of his equipment. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

The property was great. Very convenient location to stores/bars/restaurants and the lake. Only issue we had was a erratic cable service, meaning the issue was with the picture scrambling intermittently on certain channels. We picked a bad time to visit due work being done on the road out front replacing water and sewer lines. Noise was excessive and early in the morning from the equipment and we decided to cut our stay short. Owner was very empathetic and refunded us for a day, which is what we cut our stay short by. We would stay again only next time, under better conditions.
