Location to restaurants , shopping and short walk to beach đď¸
Everything was great, only thing missing was our Keurig coffee maker , would definitely be a plus for coffee drinkers đđ

John's Pass Hotel met our needs perfectly. We wanted to be within walking distance of everything near John's Pass and the beach to explore without needing transportation. The room was clean and quiet at night, and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water, but the water pressure was low. We enjoyed not having to contact anyone at "a front desk," and just making a phone call if we needed anything or had questions.
The restaurants, shops and the beach are an easy few minutes walk.
We were disappointed by the low water pressure, but we still could shower easily, just took a few minutes longer.

Clean large condo right in the middle of everything
Cooking utensils were lacking. Not one coffee cup in the whole condo however, coffee maker was provided. Internet went out day two and because all the TVs were smart TVs, we had no television for one whole day, which was not good for the kids.

We loved the location. It's literally right in the middle of everything at John's Pass. We ate at a different restaurant for 7 days straight, Dinner and sometimes lunch. Across the street there is a beach access point with showers. You can park for days and never need to leave. Free parking was also great. On holidays you do need to take into account the amount of traffic the garage gets. We didn't leave the entire 4th of July to ensure we had our parking spot at night. There are signs for the hotel guest. But not everyone is courteous and pays attention to those. Not a huge problem, but something to keep an eye on. Any store you need is within a 10-15 min drive. The closest Mall is less than 30 mins away. I can't say enough about the location. 10/10
Room was pretty and basic. Pretty much what you need. Bed was decent.
The air conditioner wasn't the greatest for room 209. Even though the 1st floor stores beneath us & the public restrooms air was super cold. Our room was pretty warm. It was set to the lowest setting, and we still had to go buy a fan for our week stay. We also taped a spare blanket over the door bc you could feel the hot air coming through the door frame. There was tint on the windows and doors but from inside the room it was bright. The door has a frosty film but no shade or anything. So as soon as the sun was up, the room starts getting warm. Hence why we taped the blanket over the door also.
Another thing is there was nowhere to get ice unless you went to a restaurant. An ice machine on the floor somewhere would really help the guest. Adding hooks for wet clothes would also be nice.

Comfortable bed, great location, microwave and fridge
The staff was extremely rude, specially the guy.
On our first day of stay July 2, the code was given until 6 pm and we had called at 3 pm. At around 5/45 we called like 6 times since no one would answered the phone and he was so rude and told us we were not the only customer calling!! So no we wonât recommend this place to anyone else

Noisy in the morning with garbage truck emptying trash container.

Location
Lots of weird noises coming from behind the bathroom all during our stay.

Clean and near everything you would enjoy within walking distance.
No communication whatsoever, it is a remote check in which means no onsite staff. There were no directions on how to check in, get codes, directions for hotel access or parking. Staff should send out an email at the very least with instructions on how to access the hotel, parking garage, and wifi password. It was a bit noisy since you are on the boardwalk, the fire alarm went off a lot, other hotel guests like to congregate on the balcony to smoke snd talk loudly in the mornings, so expect the unexpected. Cigarette Butt receptacles should be staged anywhere but near the rooms. Garbage collection is daily anywhere from 6:30 AM to about 8:00 AM. No cleaning of the room during our three day stay, but there were enough towels. It was very clean. A plus is reserved parking though. At $500 for a couple of days, be more accommodating to guests. The rooms arenât large enough for more than 2 people, but I am not sure that other rooms may be larger. The bed, pillows, duvet covers were ok. AC was cold, small mini fridge was cold with a very tiny freezer, large enough for my cooler ice packs. The elevators are not on the same side as the hotel, they are on opposite end of the hotel reserved spots, but you may not need them since you are on the same level, but you will have to walk up 3 flights of stairs otherwise. Some of the eateries are not open on certain days, so plan accordingly. Johnâs Pass Grille eatery is a pass, food was mediocre for the $$. The Boardwalk Grill was pretty basic, but service is great and the food is cooked fresh. Not very large, so avoid peak times. DiRossaâs pizza is edible, sandwiches are a bit dry. You can sign up for a lot of sightseeing, waverunner fun, shops, parasailing et al, right on the first level below the hotel. We will not likely stay again, but it was last minute. The condos in the area are just as reasonably priced if you engage early. The beach is directly across the road.

It was a neat and clean room. Remote check-in worked w/ out a hitch. Called in to let them know we were late and staff member was warm and helpful. We like being right at Johnâs Pass so it was perfect!
No really great views from our wing of the hotel. We were on the annex level with the mirrored doors and windows on the outside.

I liked that it was in walking distance of everything. We could walk the boardwalk and go to our favorite music venue. The room was clean with a large updated bathroom with walk in shower. The king bed was comfortable. That being said!
The room was very small. The furniture Iâm sure was bought at a hotel old furniture sale. You can add the outlets to the list of things bought at junk stores. Most of them wouldnât hold a plug. The windows were heavily tented. Narrow but long. The shades were raised by a chain but one didnât work. I felt smothered. Some type of cheap beach chairs would have helped. My husband and I are older and the distance was more than we expected. There was no seating in the room except a small office rolling chair. No desk. A small square stool no back. For the most part no seating or table. It would have helped to have a small round table with chairs. You couldnât sleep in the mornings because of the delivery trucks and the emptying of garbage cans. With their attending smells. I would not stay there again. No matter how much money I saved. Which was very dissapointed

Loved how close it was to everything, food, entertainment and nightlife.

The hotel was very close to the center, which is what we needed
The room itself was uncomfortable no place to sit . Tiny seating. Bed uncomfortable. I stubbed my toe on the bottom of the door while coming out of the bathroom. It was so bad I had to go to a clinic to get an x-ray. Blood red. Will lose my toe nail.

Great veiws, great location, great room. Parking!
Would've loved to have a booklet of all the things the pass has, boat rides, and all the fun activities. We have been coming for 3 years and we found new shops and activities we had never seen.
People walking right in front of our room would knock on our windows as a joke, all time of day and night.
Wish that the large table/desk was two sitting chairs so We had somewhere to relax beside out bed

Awesome location. Felt safe. Great shopping. Walk across street to beach! Like being in Paradise!
The side windows need to be covered better. Upgrade hair dryers. Clean the room? 3 night stay and trash was removed only one day? Bed never made?

It was a good location but didnât like the noise at 7am. The room was very clean and nice.
Y ou need to put a lid on the toilet. I was afraid something would fall in when I was using the sink.

Absolutely loved the location, right in the center of a very cute boardwalk area, and within walking distance of both the beach as well as a large number of restaurant and shopping options. The fully remote nature of the hotel was interesting, and didn't have to stop in anywhere to check in or check out. It was also a few steps away from an amazing view of John's Pass, which came with a view of dolphins playing in the canal.
A little noisy due to its central location next to so many attractions and restaurants. When it is busy, it is also a little difficult to get in and out with a car due to the large number of people and tourists who are also trying to get to the boardwalk area.

The only thing was the room was clean. No ice machine, no nothing.will not be back. I couldn't get the door open when I arrived, they changed the code 3 times until I demanded a live person come and open the door. It was a nightmare..
