Gutes Frühstück in historischem Ambiente.

It is like staying in a stately home - there is so much space, and beautiful antique furniture. Even a suit of armour in the dining room! The bed was big and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's just a short walk from the centre of town, and not far from a tram stop if you want to travel further.
Because the streets are cobbled, any traffic outside can't help making a noise. It's on a quiet street, but still you could hear deliveries at 6am.

Very good location in historical part of the city. The hotel is very authentic.
My room had windows to the wall of the other building, so was dark.

nothing…. it was grand so!

Beautifully presented breakfast in delightful dining room overlooking the garden. The property itself, in the centre of old Ghent, has many original features, such as 400 year-old ceiling beams.
3.5
Location excellent, warm room. Frienly landlord.
Stairs unconvenient, only bathtub with 1 m shower hose, impossible to stand and have shower.

This grand old house near the heart of Ghent is very different to a modern hotel. There's a small number of rooms. Ours was very large, half the total width of the building, and overlooking the street.
The floors creak a bit. The plumbing is much newer than the building, but hardly new.
It's clean and roomy.
I love these old places. Much more fun than the predictable modern buildings at the same price.
We were travelling with bicycles and were welcome to store them in the closed rear garden.
Travelling with my son, we had twin beds and the mattresses were a bit soft and worn.

It was great breakfast, room and location.
No elevator but it was okay for us since we didn't have many luggage to carry.
4.5
Breakfast and location both great.
Dust / dirt in room closet and drawers.

Everything. The location is perfect, the breakfast was delicious and our host, Mr. Peter B. is simply the best.
3.5
Staff, breakfast, interior, location.
The blankets needs to be renewed.

The hotel is really picturesque and with an unique interior. I really like the whole atmosphere. The breakfast was also nice.
The bathroom was a bit inconvenient. Especially with too little space for sitting on the toilet.
