Great riable wifi, comfy bed, good size TV and decent room size!

Location, way out of town, no drinking water provided when the tap water is not drinkable or no store nearby (nearest is 12 minutes drive), TV installed in the way to bathroom and keep hitting the TV, curtain is not black out curtain, and managed very unprofessionally! No guest information book, no tour related brochures! The property is run like an AirBnb! Absolutely not value for money!

Poor service and hosting, I want my refund !

March 17,2023 -My best friend and I booked this property for a weekend stay in Nassau. After realizing what an uncomfortable environment it was, we made a request to cancel our reservations. Being the only two females on a trip why stay in a room with a number of strange men! It’s a no for us. 700+ went down the drain with NO refund! For a room we never stayed in ! After 5 days of calling the property managers to seek assistance with the refund, their attitude was very poor

On top of losing 700 dollars, we had to now book a different hotel to complete our stay in Nassau. The photos on this website for this property IS NOTHING, like what you get in person! This place needs to go under proper renovation for the amount of money they’re charging.

Run down, needs repairs, but nice location.

The location and view is beautiful. nearby beaches are lovely and the ocean water is perfect. Close to a couple of OK restaurants within walking distance. Size of room is good and nicely decorated.

The kitchen faucet didn’t work at all, and the host said, oh you don’t want to use the water. We had to wash dishes in the bathroom, which was also leaking! No hot water in shower, and lots of mold from leaking. After 2 days and us insisting, they did fix the kitchen faucet. Do not book taxi through this place, you will be double charged. We were overcharged by $100. The roads are narrow with few sidewalks and fast drivers. Take the bus, it’s great and only $1.50. Goes frequently to town and western coast via the main road. You’ll need cash but they give change. I would never stay at this place again. it could be great if they would take care of it and their guests!

This is a scam!

The property charged the full amount but was UNAVAILABLE. When we arrived the place was locked, no one was there, and they did not answer the phone. We had to simply look for another place. We paid 120$ for a taxi driver to simply roam the area with us until we found a vacant place. Quite amazingly, despite the fact that the we were never able to check-in to the place, the owners charges the full amount, not even offering an apology for failing to accommodate us. This is quite simply - THEFT. A scam - you charge the money, but dont let the guests in. This, for me was truly a first. And definitely a last!

waste of money. will not come back

ocean view and pool view from upper cottage. bed was comfortable and so was daybed. host was apologetic to everything that went wrong

1) severe water leakage from shower 2) host was 2 hours late so I sat outside for two hours before my guest arrives 20 min late. no key in lock box. host said it was lost. 3) curtains were dirty and balcony had a dirty blanket and an ash tray full of ashes along with a empty beer bottle with ashes in it 4) floor was dirty from shower door installation prior to arrival. 5) didn’t realize I already paid their shuttle service and paid cash again n driver said nothing like you already paid. 6) was shown video of rat in sealing on the beams and was told “none is in ur room”

Viking Hill

Beautiful view, on a very nice property with tons of potential. Nice little pool. Host is very nice and Chris, one of the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not much water pressure for a hot shower.

pretty apartment not far from airport and near the sea

lovely little apartment with sea views and a nice pool. lovely restaurant for dinner along the same road

we had paid for breakfast but on arrival were told they didn’t provide breakfasts at all. would have been good to at least leave a bottle of water or tea/ coffee. we were only staying one night so had not bought any food .and no shop nearby.there was building work in part of the property

Overall good and relaxing at the cottage

the view was unbelievable! And the room was nicely done! The ac was very good! close to city buses

The lack of hot water in the shower and $30 taxi rides to every location because this is super far from everything else

Good stay, Great veiw

Chris was awesome. The view was great!

Communication was not great. Hard to get in touch with host. Property is under construction being converted in to rental. Didn't feel the balcony door were secure and there was a metal trim we kept tripping over.

Superb

Fantastic host, thank you Chris for all your help and going above and beyond. The room is super cute with seaviews. There is a bus down the road which is well connected and it also means you can enjoy the quietness of the area. The 12b goes near the airport and the 10 goes to downtown.

There are some works being conducted in the house so it looks a bit messy. There is no tea or coffee in the room.

The Pool was nice

My stay at Viking Hill Pool Cottage was (Okay) I had higher expectations from the photos then what I actually saw when I arrived. The shuttle coordinated by Viking Hill picked me up from the airport on time. The pool was very nice, I had to use the net scooper to clean it myself but otherwise it was always the right temperature. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot/warm. Since the property is private we lounged in the pool until we got tired. Also there is a grill out by the pool but you’ll have to buy everything yourself (charcoal, lighter fluid, lighter, aluminum foil, etc…) the property is somewhat tucked away so it is peaceful and not a lot of tourist as long as there’s no construction going on.

Upon my arrival the facilities were under construction and seem to be still recovering from a hurricane. Which I understand, but this should have been notated so guests are aware. My water was off for a short period without any warning because they were doing construction on the area right outside of my room. Which happened the majority of my stay (so only one day was quiet and calm, the rest were hammers, drills and the yelling and talking of a working crew). The WiFi was spotty, or non existent. Towels were limited to 3 per room. Out of the three we were given 2 were dirty. The pillow cases were dirty and bed had crumbs/sand in it. I had to tie a long head scarf that I brought with me around my pillow in order to feel somewhat comfortable sleeping on it, which makes me think that the room was not adequately cleaned. There was a miscommunication between the owner and the assigned shuttle driver. He would act as if he was doing us favor by taking us somewhere and we paid him directly in cash, only to be charged for that same transportation when I got my final bill. Considering that personal properties and Airbnb’s are charging almost the same as hotels these days just stay at a resort. We frequented the SLS Baha Mar for restaurants and to hang out in their facilities. If you don’t mind loud construction everyday when you I wake up, dirty linen, and you don’t mind being off the grid without WiFi then this is the place for you.
