Late season stay. The unit was very clean, the bed was comfy, and we had a comfortable stay. Just a couple of things to be aware of is the water pressure is very low in the shower, but if you like a bath, no problem. The bedroom door doesn't close. There is no local TV stations but they do have ROKU and WIFI. There is a tavern next store so it's not uncommon to hear motorcycles until closing. Other than that, we had a great stay. We would stay there again.

We recently stayed at a beautifully updated property with a great location and a charming porch that was perfect for relaxing. The property manager was also very responsive, promptly providing a blow dryer when requested.
However, the experience was marred by a significant issue: the mattress was stained and uncomfortable. Per the instructions, we were to strip the bed, and upon doing this, we were very surprised to see what were had been sleeping on.... The bed is very soft, but that was definitely not the issue once we stripped the bed. Despite the property's many positives, this drawback was substantial enough that I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Below average. Interior though looking clean some areas were not. Floor dirty. No area rugs area out side front door had standing water awhen other people in house next door as the AC ran and dropped by door. Shades hung poorly and fell when moved to allow light in when electricity went out.
The deck floor of porch was filthy and looked just like it did on our stat two years ago. Out door furniture dirty. Indoor furniture felt dirty. No closets for hanging cloth there was no plug in tub. To hold bath water. Loved the lication. like at front door and kitchen sink. .Also

Suite was as advertised, but be advised- the East End Bar & Grill is one door down and has an outdoor stage. They play music loudly and the bands played until 2:30! So because this suite is on the side that faces that bar, bring earplugs. Couldn't sleep the first night till they closed.

My wife and I stayed Here for her birthday weekend. Despite the amazing view of the lake right across the street, the atmosphere alone was stunning. The bar next door play country music live. I love Country music and my wife loves live bands regardless of what they are singing! The place in general was amazing. I am a Minimalist so walking into a place very clean, fully equipped and spacious is all I ask for in a place. THIS MAN PLACE IS IT! I was able to still work (paper/job computer work) in the morning and adventure came noon. Can’t wait to stay again soon

This was a great place to see the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse! The area is beautiful and the rooms were comfortable.
The main building is a separate rental and NOT an office as I first thought.

The property was nice for the area. Most things were closed this time of year. I think would be better in summer

Our group of friends map for the second year in a row at this fabulous property in Geneva on the Lake Ohio! It’s a halfway point between all of our homes and works out beautifully! The property is spacious, the hosts are easy to get a hold of and incredibly helpful/accommodating. Should we need anything… The location is great for visiting, wineries, distilleries, and breweries! We really enjoyed ourselves again and look forward to the third annual trip next year! Thank you, Matt and your team for all that you do!

I had Msged the property about the fridge humming and if there was a closet or rack to hang up clothes and didn’t get a response. One of the wash rags was either stained or dirty so that went directly into the laundry basket.
Before check out I had a maintenance worker at my door Sunday morning like 830-9am to fix the air but I wasnt notified they were coming so early. I Msged the property and then called and they weren’t overly pleasant or helpful resolving why that occurred so early on Sunday morning. Seemed really strange that was occurring and disturbing my stay.
Bathroom shelves and baseboards were dusty with cobwebs.
They have a nice comfortable wrap around porch but that needs swept or sprayed off.
The place is comfortable and pleasant. I rested well and enjoyed all what the community offered. I guess for the price I would have expected a response and a little more diligence around the cleaning considering they leave a tip envelope for the cleaning staff. There is so much in the area that staying there is convenient and overall comfortable.

Check in was a breeze. Property is as described. Historical building with many units yet private and quiet. Bar is next door but didnt hear anything inside - it is Geneva on the Lake people are enjoying themselves with live entertainment so noise is expected. Lake Erie is right across the street. Public park/beach is a block away. It is on the far end of the strip which was nice because you can walk everywhere and a small store is just accross the street. The unit is just as it is described- updated spacious for the four of us with a nice full size kitchen. It was very clean and smelled good. The bathroom was also spacious and everything in good working order including water pressure. It was full stocked with newer pots and pans. Didnt use the outdoor area with the fire pits or the gas grill but its nice to have access to them. The large porch was really nice. Although it is shared you have a private spot to use. It was lit up at night automatically which I like. Felt safe there. There were a lot of beaches close by to explore and over all we had a very nice time and would definitely rent this unit again.

Our room was very nice and clean. It appears to be newly remodeled. Our only complaint was the live music at the bar next door. Super loud and late on Fridays and Saturdays.

I helped an Amish couple by renting thus for them to help celebrate the wife's 50th Birthday back in the Fall (2022). There was no mention in the listing that there would be construction, with lots of loud noise going on during their stay. I feel terrible that their first morning there started with loud power tools and banging waking them up. I only just found out about this now, in February, when I contacted them about some work I need an estimate on. The husband is, himself, a carpenter...a really good, HONEST one, and had I known he couldn't even get away from the mere sound of all that work, I would never have booked this VRBO for them. He DID call the owner's contact number, and was told that the owner would be notified. Our friends received no response, and decided not to stay at the apartment for the rest of their getaway. They lost the rest of what they paid (they reimbursed me beforehand for the stay), and found a nicer place to stay with some wonderful property owners, meaning their trip was more expensive, but at least much more enjoyable. I am a landlord myself, and live by the Golden Rule. It would be nice if THIS owner did too.

Property was AWESOME! Easy booking, responsive owner, perfect for what I needed. The property was super clean and had everything I needed. Good location for the event I was attending.

Looks sure can be deceiving. Our first night there, we got in late but everything appeared to be pretty clean and a nice space. Other reviewers were correct, the toilet paper/paper towels were horrible and the hand soap is very watered down. The bed is pretty uncomfortable and noisy, too.
At 7:45am the next morning, a Saturday, we were woken up by the sound of LOUD POUNDING, SAWS, and HORRIBLE country music in the space next to ours. The pounding was so bad it shook the entire space. I have no idea why you would ever let renovations be done on a Saturday morning while you know there are guests staying in the space. Especially when it shares a wall with the space being worked on. Very unprofessional and downright rude owners to ever let that happen.
I know the price is attractive and it looks great in the photos, but our experience Saturday morning almost ruined our weekend. Who knows when the renovations will be done, but by the looks of it, they had a long way to go. I wouldn’t even consider staying here again. I’d look at all my other options first and if I couldn’t stay at any of them, I still wouldn’t stay here again. Strongly urge you to look elsewhere, unless you like terrible country music.

We enjoyed our stay at Eagle Inn 1. The location is perfect especially during off season because 3 of the few establishments which are open were within very short walk. A few minor points of dissatisfaction, though. Some of my pet peeves with rentals are cheap toilet paper/paper towels and watered down hand soap. Unfortunately, this rental has all of the above. In the end, it is less expensive to upgrade so that less product is used to accomplish the task at hand. Additionally, there is construction going on in other apartments which caused loud, annoying noise through the day. Luckily, it was not started until approximately 8:00 am and we left for the day soon thereafter so it was not terribly troublesome. However, it would have been nice for the owner to inform us to expect this at the time we received confirmation. We had some issues with heat and internet when we first checked in and contacted the number provided. Someone arrived VERY promptly to remedy the issues. Would recommend.
