We were greeted by a broken screen door and a deadbolt that was extremely loose. The fire alarms in the bedrooms were uninstalled, one of the sofas were broken, transition strips were held to the floor with disgusting packing tape, one of the windows was falling apart-the weather stripping banged against the window all night-there was mold in the master shower and the toilet is loose. We were provided with stained towels in both bathrooms and in the kitchen. The mattresses are uncomfortable and caused back issues. And this does not even cover the issues in the back yard. This property needs some serious attention.

The checkin part was a bit scary cause we didn’t get an address to the property..code or instructions until 2 hours before check in.. I messaged the owner in a timely manner and had to call her and leave a message to demand the information. She did respond and send me the information due to VBRO not giving it to us.. This property was absolutely beautiful! The rooms and the beds were all nice sizes and had tv’s in every room.. the bed linens had to be rewashed due to hair and stains.. the rugs/floors in the bathrooms were dirty too.. the bathrooms were barely cleaned .. hair/dirt in the tubs under the mats.. the backyard and view were beautiful but the deck was unstable as stated in the other reviews.. no repairs were made..overall I would stay again..just have to make sure we clean good before we enjoy

The house was in a great location as far as what we needed. A few things on the house is the outside needs some work. A lot of the furniture is broken. The steps going to the back dock are not good. Two of us fell. my 18 year old set in and it flipped out on the dock furniture. The house was clean and when we called they got right back to us. But it isnt what we thought it would be. I asked if we could swim in the lake they said yes but there isnt really a access from their yard.

We had a great time at this lake house. Didn’t catch any fish but did enjoy the views.

Nice house with beautiful view. Really enjoyed our stay

Excellent stay for a business trip. House was very clean and comfortable. However, not an ideal place for a family vacation due to upgrades needed by the waterfront area and back patio deck. We loved the duck who visited us every morning by the patio door.

Clean property with relaxing views of the lake. Conveniently located near Arlington, Fort Worth and downtown Dallas. Fun weekend for family and friends!

Interior home was adequate for our needs...but beware! Lakeside yard is a liability waiting to happen. Shaded tier area has no seating; table and chairs by grill are made of hard metal slats, dock seating is falling apart. Splintered wood and exposed nails everywhere. Fire pit seating is a wobbly, very unsafe mess. No kayak as in photo and swimming is questionable as we saw snakes. If the lake is the draw for you~good luck on finding a decent chair. Interior: 4 stars. Exterior: 2 stars for birds, water view, shade.

The lake makes it all worth it - super peaceful setting, very quiet, especially after dealing with chaotic family events - would stay again.

We enjoyed our quick stay. The home was very clean and had a beautiful view!

The house was clean and comfortable. Nice view of the lake.
Mr. Blesson was quick to answer all our questions and to handle a little problem with garbage disposal.
The only Negative was that the biggest attraction for us was the backyard/lake. The backyard and deck could use a little TLC. The outdoor furniture was broken and we could not use. The grill was great. The steps down to the fishing deck were unsteady and would not recommend if elderly .

The Irving Lakefront House
The host was fabulous, very communicative and answered questions immediately. The Lakefront is beautiful & the ducks are a nice addition. The house was great, it was perfect for our situation. There are a couple of things that probably need updated- the stove, the decking out back, but for the most part it was perfect for us. We appreciate the host being so kind and answering questions even late at night upon our arrival.

Great Stay
My three sisters and I stayed here for my sister's 60th birthday. The house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake. The house was only 15 to 20 minutes from the airport and downtown which made it very convenient. The host was very responsive to our questions and made the experience very pleasant for us. I would recommend this property!

Beautiful Property
The property is beautiful and sits off a sirene and gorgeous lake. The house was clean and prepared for our arrival. The only negative was that the biggest attraction for the property is the lake/backyard and it really needed a blowing of the leaves and removal of broken furniture. The interior amenities were great and available for use.

Guys weekend
Perfect location for a guys weekend getaway! Centrally located between the two major cities, conveniently located near DFW Airport (and Love Field), AT&T Stadium, Lonestar Park and area golf courses. Can’t say anything negative about the location.
Property was very well maintained and house was extremely clean. No issues whatsoever with the neighborhood. Pictures of the property are accurate.
Blesson was a pleasure to work with. No issues at check in and no issues throughout the weekend. A few questions we had sporadically over our 4 night stay were answered almost immediately each time! My friends and I have already discussed heading back for another weekend and we absolutely be staying here again! Thanks Blesson!!

Everything I needed . . .
This house was pretty much everything I needed for what I was doing in Grand Prairie - the house was neat, easy to navigate, and comfortable. The lake is lovely and gives a quality of peace and calm that was helpful. I would definitely want to stay here again next time I'm in Grand Prairie.

Beautiful hidden lake in the middle of the suburbs
We loved the backyard of this property! The lake was beautiful and the dock was perfect for fishing. My kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fireplace. They also enjoyed the ducks who came right up to them.
The only challenge we had was in booking the property. We booked it when it wasn't actually available. The owner was great though! He responded quickly and was understanding and helpful.
+- Perfect getaway close to the city, beautiful backyard, family fun of all sorts, washer and dryer available, tvs in each room, fishing poles available, firepit with wood available
- Not well cleaned, unstable ground in the backyard (if elderly people or diabled people)
