Idéalement situé avec une vue magnifique sur Capri.
Parking à disposition qui est un véritable atout.
Nous avions une chambre vue sur mer mais un peu à « la cave »

My best friend and I had an unforgettable stay at Tramonto d’Oro. The views are simply unmatched and the location in Praiano was perfect to escape the masses in more popular destinations. However, it was truly the staff at Tramonto that made this trip for us. We felt so welcomed from the very first moment and the team went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. You really feel part of the family at this hotel, which has been run by four generations of the same family! We cannot thank the team enough for the most incredible holiday, and have already planned our return for next year!
Nothing.

This family owned hotel was incredible. Beautiful views & an even more beautiful staff! You must take the cooking class they offer!
The only thing I didn’t love was that my room didn’t have a window. I guess “no sea view” means no window. The room otherwise was great but I like a window!

Our recent stay at this family-run hotel on the enchanting Amalfi Coast was nothing short of fantastic. Steeped in tradition and spanning three generations, this hidden gem exceeded all expectations and left an indelible mark on our hearts.
From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with genuine warmth and an infectious smile. Their exceptional friendliness and hospitality set the tone for the entire stay. It was evident that they took immense pride in their establishment, as they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
What truly stood out was the remarkable attention to detail displayed by every member of the staff. From the owner to the dedicated employees, everyone consistently provided personalized care that made us feel like cherished guests. The owner, a gracious lady whose father founded the hotel, made it a point to engage with each and every one of us during the nightly dinner, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.
The hotel itself was a palace nestled in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, offering breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. The rooms were tastefully decorated, exuding a perfect blend of elegance and homeliness. Each morning, we woke up to picturesque vistas that left us in awe of nature's beauty.
Moreover, the staff's local knowledge and willingness to assist were invaluable in helping us plan our daily excursions. They provided insightful recommendations and practical tips, ensuring we made the most of our time exploring the captivating surroundings.
Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this remarkable establishment to anyone seeking an extraordinary experience on the Amalfi Coast. Whether you're a couple in search of a romantic getaway or a family yearning for an unforgettable vacation, this family-run hotel will not disappoint.
In summary, our stay was nothing short of magical.

Don't look anywhere else - this is the spot - perfectly close to Positano but away from the craziness in the cleanest and nicest boutique hotel I have ever stayed in.
That I had to leave - honestly - it was like staying in my home (but so much nicer) with a view and staff that will not be beat - thanks so much!

My husband and I stayed at Tramonto D'Oro for our honeymoon and had an amazing time - we can't wait to come back! There was a lot of rain during our stay and the hotel did a great job adapting and scheduling activities like a wine tasting and cooking class that guests could sign up for. We did both and they were fantastic! The staff makes you feel so welcome and helps with anything you need. The location is also wonderful. An incredible view and walking distance to many delicious restaurants. You're also a short bus ride or drive to Positano or other towns in amalfi. Would definitely recommend staying at this fabulous hotel.
The weather! Everything else was wonderful

The view and the service is the only thing you'll be paying for at Tramonto D'Oro. View is breathtaking, only when looking to the right. The left has a church (more on that later). The service is incredible, one of the best I had in Italy.
The location. There is a church to the left, when looking off the balcony. This church CONSTANTLY IS RINGING IT'S BELLS. To the point where it was utterly maddening. I'm not talking about a few small charming dings. I'm talking ringing for 8 minutes every 15 minutes starting at 7am (on a normal day). To add insult to injury, we were there during a religious celebration and so the first 2 days of our stay consisted of constant ringing, plus a marching band (with a Tuba player leading the way) until 12am and then resumed with the "extended celebratory ringing" at 6am... Obviously, this is at no fault of the hotel; however, the sole purpose of me writing this review is to notify others of this experience so you are aware of the situation when booking. Disruptive ringing isn't what I look for when I'm on vacation. Also, I think the hotel should have notified us of the celebration and had ear plugs available.
But that wasn't all: The shower didn't drain and pooled, the shower head was wonky and sprayed horizontally and when adjusted would fly around due to the water pressure, the sink wouldn't drain, the mattress is covered in plastic making you sweat all night, the rooms are small (though they have been recently updated), and last but not least the ceiling leaked water resulting in a literal slip'n'slide in the entryway of the room. These things were discussed with management after the first night. They said they'd fix the issues the next day, but did not. By the time we realized everything was still an issue it was 10pm and maintenance only works for a few hours per day. We were offered a room change (which I appreciated), but by that point we were fed up and ready to check out early anyways.

Breakfast over the Amalfi coast is something you won't forget. The staff is amazing and the rooms are beautiful. Make sure you spend the money to have a sea view. This hotel is in a perfect location away from the crazy crowds or Positano and Amalfi. That being said you can walk to a few restaurants and shops but your not in a town center. Note - The cost is busy so you cannot just walk out and grab a taxi - work with the staff to arrange transportation the night before.
Location is beautiful but be aware it's quite a hike down to the beach - as is with most of the hotels.
