The property is set very high in Taormina and has a wonderful view. The noise levels were kept to a minimum, which was great.
Some drawers inside the wardrobes can be upgraded to modern drawers with an easier push and pull. They were difficult to open and close.

Personale cortese e sempre disponibile a dare consigli.
Piccolo vecchio e tenuto male. Basterebbe almeno cambiare i rubinetti per renderlo almeno passabile.
Inaccettabile in un 4 stelle il bagnoschiuma in bustina.

Large room with a beautiful sea-view terrace.

Everything! Wonderful room, service, area. It has it all!

A perfect stay at an exceptional hotel. The staff were the best we have experienced in our travels. The rooms and balconies were huge. We did not expect this. The views from the balconies could not be beat.. The Mediteranee had to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. Breakfast was also outstanding. Lots of choices; and prepared very well.
Too bad they do not operate a restaurant.

A hotel from the 1970s, distinctive style, but a bit unusual, especially in the bathroom. Nice and top service, good breakfast and good beds
2.0
Great view….small bathroom
Needed entire upgrade of hotel
Room was small and outdated with tiny bathroom

Location is great, the staff is very friendly!
The sea view is Amazing!!!
Very tiny and old elevator.

The location and especially the view from our terrace was phenomenal. Lovely swimming pool with a breathtaking view and a beautiful terraced garden. Decent sized rooms, nice staff at the reception
The hotel is really dated. Staff in the restaurant could be more helpful.

Great location, wonderful staff. Swimming pool with great views.
it’s a little bit tired, but everything works.

Spectacular views, great breakfast, beautiful pool area, great location. Very comfortable bed. Spacious balcony. Good water pressure and plentiful hot water.
Air conditioner in our room didn't work...it got stuffy.
3.5
The deck & view from our room was spectacular. The room was very clean but dated and needs updating.
The bed was very hard but did have memory pillow. Plastic chairs on deck.
Breakfast was a very nice addition. Saw a post saying same thing everyday but nice to have. Would agree.
4.5
Charming hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, amazing view and location.
Pillows were a bit hard.
4.0
fact that not much had changed in the hotel since it was built in the 60's. Decent breakfast. Excellent location close to town with excellent views from balcony, breakfast terrace and pool area
Bed was very hard, but when asked, the staff arranged a matress topper, which was great. Perhaps should consider this in all rooms.
Bathroom had a constant background smell of drains.
3.5
the staff were very welcoming and helpful , it was quiet and peaceful , and the terrace view was amazing ,it does have a nice pool , this hotel is above the Main Street and has a sister hotel on the beach , which is for both hotels , and it is really lovely and peaceful , they have a shuttle to get there . Hotel Mediterranee , is very close to the Main Street , it takes 10 minutes from the gate ( end of Main Street, Corso umberto ) there is a incline and then 40 steps to upper street and hotel steps , you can walk the long way , but this is also an incline , but no steps , the hotel grew on us and it did have some old Italian charm . The hotel is closer to a three star hotel ,
More than anything , the bathroom was really bad , the shower was tiny so at times you had to get out to do things , and turn around , the water was always hot it needed a big renovation . it’s been a tough 3 years for hospitality , we understand , but the hotel does need updating for being classified as a four star hotel , also the air conditioner couldn’t be controlled from the panel in the room , so was hot sometimes at night

amazing views and room terraces.
swimming pool
access to lido
lovely staff
bathrooms out of date, so small and whilst functional were not enjoyable to use
hotel sign was faded and gives a sorry bad impression

Location is fantastic. Everything within walking distance.a nice pool to relax by after a day of touring.Breakfast was good. We had a nice walk out terrace from our room.
The facilities are a little dated. Shower stall is very small but adequate.

A Dated bathroom needed an uplift. Views were amazing. No restaurant! Only a bar and breakfast available.
As above. A restaurant and nice bar area as we went to the hotel opposite to watch the sunset and magnificent view.
2.5
Good sized pool
Good views
Dated decor
Small rooms
Breakfast was not great, scrambled eggs were cold, no fresh fruit juice, mediocre bread. A few small tweaks could greatly improve it.

Everything was super: the stuff was kind and helpful, the hotel was very nice with its pool, the view from our room to the sea and Etna was extraodinary and the location from Taormina center was good. A perfect hotel for honeymoon!
4.5
Our room had a sizable patio with great views of sea and Mt Etna. Fairly easy walk down m good restaurants and main shopping and piasa. GREAT shuttle service to affiliate hotel Lido right on the beach.. Breakfast with good food (actually hot scrambled eggs) and wonderful views. On site pool very nice!
The bathroom and shower were dated but all worked.
3.0
location and swimming pool
breakfast was dire, atmosphere in the bar area was dead!
4.0
Comfortable double room with a wonderful terrace with great views.
All the staff were hard working and helpful
5 mins walk down into Taromina centre.
A lovely swimming pool in a fabulous position.
Breakfast was ok but a wider choice of food would have been appreciated.
The main terrace was lovely for breakfast but had no atmosphere in the evening. I appreciate that things are only beginning to return to normal after the pandemic, but the hotel bar needs to remain open beyond 8pm. Once it closed people were encouraged to leave the terrace. Money needs to be spent on the bar and the terrace to make it inviting and somewhere where guests want to spend time, money and linger whilst enjoying the fabulous views.
The ensuite in the bedroom needs some updating.

Gorgeous view and parking available!

Had a balcony room overlooking the sea and Etna - Magnificent!, Very easy access to local (and excellent!) restaurants and tourist attractions. Staff very friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast very good, swimming pool very good. Parking available but can be limited.
The drive up to the hotel can be a bit frustrating and if you drive past there is no easy way back (narrow, one-way system).
The hotel has its own beach but access is quite tricky. We were only there for one night so didn't try the beach.
4.0
Amazing view, we had a big balcony/terrrace which we saw Etna and the sea from.
They have a very nice pool which also has a nice view.
Very close to the city centre or the tourist street where there's a lot of good restaurants.
The aircondition could have been better, it worked but I was still very hot during night time.
