Excellent would love to stay again

The owner was at the property when we arrived early. He was very kind and accommodating. Nothing not to like

The bath is very slippery when wet ie when showering. Suggest a non slip bath mat? This is not a problem if taking a bath.

It is a lovely flat in FANTASTIC location to explore Chester.

Location, Location, Location.. it's fantastic. Having morning coffee and night cap on the balcony overlooking the river and bridge was bliss

Not much not to like, the bath could do with modernization as my elderly parents struggled a little getting in and out. Otherwise we had great time and the the price was fair.

Would have been perfect if it hadn’t have been for the man trying to gain entry at 4:30am

The location was excellent, the accommodation was great and quirky- loved it.

The entrance gate didn’t have a lock so we were disturbed early hours of the morning when a man, seemingly intoxicated, was trying to get in. Luckily I had locked and chained the door when going to bed.

Excellent location but a few niggles...

Fantastic location overlooking the river, 5 minute walk into city centre. Quiet at night. Lovely decking area. Powerful shower. Well equipped. Helpful welcome pack with good recommendations for the area.

Very strong smell of paint throughout our stay (perhaps a low odour paint would be better). Blind in the bathroom would not close and the window isn't frosted glass, so felt quite exposed. Curtains needed in bedrooms as the venetian blinds do not block out the light. Bedframe in main bedroom was creaky and the mattress is uneven. Some of the dishes had marks on (dried pasta sauce at a guess). Sofa is quite small and the layout of the living room is a little awkward. A footstool would be a good addition. The floors could be cleaner, could see the dirt on our socks.

A beautiful start to Christmas

Stunning location, beautiful place to stay, with extremely helpful owners of the property who always replied promptly to all queries. They'd even put the Christmas tree up, adding a special touch to the apartment. And the heating was on for our arrival - everything was thought through.

Nothing! It was a lovely couple of days away.

Great flat good location

Excellent location in Central Chester with lovely views over the river.. Lovely modern flat with everything needed for the stay. Easy check in and good communication from the hosts.

Only slight issue was no parking near the flat but that's to be expected in the old part of the city. Found parking reasonably close and good price so not a major issue

Superb

Location was perfect. Close to everything but still quiet enough. Being able to sit and relax outside, with the river right by the deck was beautiful. Parking at Little Roodee car park was perfect, and a good price for city centre, 24hr parking. Loads of room for 3 of us.

A beautiful home from home in an outstanding location. Was ideal for a stop to see Chester on our way home from Cornwall and had absolutely everything we needed right by the river.

Amazing

The decking area overlooking the river is absolutely amazing, so nice to sit out each night listening to the river. The location was also brilliant for us straight on to the walls or a short walk up Bridge Street to the centre.

Perfect location apartment

Amazing location and the directions we were sent were perfect. Lovely apartment and outside decking area with a beautiful view. Plenty of space lovely bathroom fittings.

Decor a little tired in places and some items of furniture but this doesn't take away from the apartment at all we will def stay again.

Location was excellent, parking close by. The property was clean and comfortable and a decent size. Outdoor area was a welcome addition.

Excellent apartment!!

Apartment is in a great location, the apartment is really nice and clean and beds are comfortable. Hosts were great and allowed us an early check in. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when I'm next in Chester

Needs updating

All mod cons for 2bed holiday let, view over the river, tranquil lovely spot, clean, close to all amenities,

The apartment needs updating, outside area needs a thorough clean, interior furniture grubby In places, not as spruced up as the pics show. no fan(needed for the hot weather) no black out curtains/blinds, just needs a bit of an overhaul to bring it up to scratch, sofa was very uncomfortable, bed in double room very noisy every time I turned over it woke me up.

Great weekend in the heart of Chester

Beautiful property in a perfect location, so close to the town. The apartment was exactly as seen on the pictures, I couldn’t fault it.

Beautiful position in the city but maybe could do with a bit of updating in the apartment.

Location was wonderful. The views were beautiful. Lovely area to sit out looking over the river.

Could not shower as no anti slip mat in Bath and very difficult to climb into the bath to shower with no bar or something to hold onto. Beds, we're very creaky and not that comfortable. Apartment could have been warmer, couldn't work out heating box. Lacking in some kitchen utensils.

Everything about this lovely apartment was amazing. It was so cozy and homely, spotlessly clean and had a really beautiful interior. It felt like a home away from home.

There was nothing I didn't like. It was perfect.

Looking forward to a future visit!

One of the best surprises in accommodations I can recall. Everything from facilities to the location on the City Walls was just perfect. Although the weather was not conducive for it (rainy season), the patio was a wonderful touch! I will be sure to highly recommend this property to friends & contacts. Overall: a true gem!

no mirror in bathroom, apart from 1 biscuit each, there were no little touches you would normally expect. Like no milk in fridge! check in time was later than other properties and check out earlier than others so felt like we were rushed out. emailed host about the ambiguous WiFi password and didn’t receive a reply in time.
