We stayed at this cabin for a couples getaway . The cabin was amazing and the host was outstanding. We were originally supposed to arrive back in December but had to reschedule at the last minute due to a death in the family. The host was so amazing allowing us to change the date at the last minute. I highly recommend this cabin! We had everything we needed, just like home. Just beautiful and fit the needs of the 4 couples for the entire weekend.

We’ve been to Broken Bow a few times and added a few more friends this go around. We loved the proximity to all things Hochatown at the Lazy Dog Lodge and the layout was perfect for our group of 6! Plenty of ways to spend the hazy, rainy weekend and the lodge provided a warm and inviting respite that we are already missing. Would absolutely book here again :)

We needed peace and quiet. We lead busy lives and are always on the go. The Lazy Dog Lodge was clean, private, and spacious enough for us to be able to unwind and enjoy each other's company. The property is beautiful and has everything one would need. It's four large bedrooms and four large bathrooms. Very private. The common areas are great for socializing. The deck would be great in fall or spring as it's very private.

My family and I have been to broken bow plenty of times but this cabin has exceeded our expectations! The cabin itself was beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. A lot of the things that you wouldn’t necessarily think to pack was already full stocked and very clean and tidy. The owners were very informative of places they recommended around the area and efficient. Would definitely come back again with the family and recommend for others to enjoy as well!!

FUN Times In Broken Bow
Upon our return to the DFW area it really struck us what a fun, Fun, FUN week we had at the Lazy Dog Lodge.
We spent most of our time outside on the great deck and inside in the wide open kitchen/living room area. LDL is conducive to meal-making, adult beverages and plenty of story-telling!
Our group is already making plans for a Sept/Oct weekend of college and NFL football game watching!

Property issues and sewer smell
Beautiful cabin but once we got there, the AC was not cooling. The owners were nice and immediately attempted to get the issue resolved. Around 10:00 that evening, AC was fixed. The next day, woke up to a bad sewer smell, so couldn’t sit outside. The smell would come and go throughout the day. Then while making dinner that night, there was a leak from the upstairs bathroom, that leaked down on the kitchen. Overall, stay was good and the owners were nice.

Family Vacation
My family of 9 adults stayed here for a recent 4 day getaway. The clean, spacious and modern house exceeded our expectations. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill were a nice touch since we prepared all meals on premise. Most of our time was spent on the large patio, downstairs, or upstairs around the pool table. Although there are homes near by, the large trees give you a secluded feel. The owners reached out to us prior to arrival in case we needed to contact them; however, there was no need as everything went exceedingly well.

Amazing home for the whole family!
Amazing new home, huge main living space w floor to ceiling windows, excellent kitchen and outdoor deck (covered with large table, TV, hot tub, grill, corn-hole). 4 bedrooms, each with own bathroom, pool table upstairs and fun bonus space above that too for the kids and kids at heart. Everything was wonderful here in this brand-new home. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Amazing Getaway!
The Lazy Dog Lodge was absolutely perfect. The layout of the house was just what we needed. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The kitchen, coffee bar, laundry room, and bathrooms were stocked with ample amenities. The porch was amazing too, with fire pit and bbq pit. The location was perfect. Tucked away, but close enough to attractions and parks. We will definitely be staying here again!

This beautiful property has all the comforts of home and more! It was well planned and thought out, if the weather is bad, you can easily stay in this lodge and not miss your hiking adventure. It has something for everyone! A relaxing evening in the spacious and comfortable spa, build a large cozy fire and enjoy a game of darts. The top hideaway loft was perfect for our sensory grandchild’s escape. The pool table perfectly situated keeps you entertained and in the middle of everything. Classy, and comfortable way to enjoy all that Beaver Bend offers.

I don’t even know where to begin. The home, area, activities was all more amazing than I could explain. Hot tub, darts, fire pit, pool table, corn hole, connect 4, heated porch, Outdoor TV, 4 master bedrooms with separate bathrooms, kitchen full of items, amazing showers… this house did not miss a single detail! We had a home full of 11 people with kids from ages 18mon-13 years old and it was perfect for all ages!! Will definitely be back!!

The lazy dog lodge was as advertised. This is a wonderful place to stay. The 4 master bedrooms are great and the bathrooms are huge. I wish I had a stove like the one in this place. The complimentary wine and the insulated mug are a great personal touch.

Our over experience what's great. This cabin is absolutely amazing. The layout was perfect for friends and I. The only thing we came back from boating and the maintenance guy was there working . We didn't know he was the maintenance guy or givina heads up that he would be coming

Nice cabin lay out with more attention to tidiness warranted
The cabinet is beautiful; however, we did have to tidy up a few things in the cabin upon arrival.
I communicated with Katie and Jamie, the property managers, and expressed our concerns. I believe a conversation is definitely warranted with the cleaning staff. The interior of the refrigerator had to be cleaned and wiped, the exterior of the refrigerator and stove has fingerprints and dust. We found strands of hair on the pillowcases in one on the upstairs bedrooms and in the coffee maker. The dust is very apparent throughout the cabin and needs attending too.
In most parts of the cabin, we had to let the water run for about 5 minutes before it became hot. One of the upstairs bedrooms water remained hot. Guests were not granted the opportunity to adjust the temperature .
The above issues need resolving soon. Guest should not have to encounter these conditions.

Gorgeous home & property
We recently stayed at the lazy dog lodge for a weekend getaway with 3 other couples. The house was perfect for our group with four bedrooms, four king beds and a bathroom in each room. The beds/sheets were really comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with great quality products. Love the coffee bar set up! We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and out by the fire pit. We love the dart board and the corn hole. There was also a hot tub but we did not use it this trip. Everything was very clean and furniture was high-end. The family room could use a rug to help absorb some of the noise with the high ceilings. We had an issue with the Internet but we got a quick response and someone came out to take a look at it. Unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed that weekend but the owners were very apologetic and offered us compensation for our trouble.
We would highly recommend this beautiful home and plan to come back for a visit soon.

Gorgeous - But Loud
This cabin is aesthetically gorgeous, from the cathedral ceiling, wide open kitchen, to the tall windows, and cozy, woodsy finishes. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect, and the beds super comfy. We loved how stocked the kitchen was - from the foil, spices, bowls, coffee, towels, sharp knives, great IKEA kitchen ware and the incredible stove. Cooking in that kitchen was a dream. The back patio with the TV and covered hot tub was quite possibly the best part! We played darts sat at the fire pit, and listened to Motown music the entire time on the surround sound speakers. The outdoor space was heaven.
There were a couple reasons the stay wasn’t 5 star - first being, it was so loud. Zero sound proofing between floors, so you could hear everything if you were below... every step above you from the pool table loft to the upstairs bedrooms, to the stairs. And because the ceilings were so tall, living room wide open, and no rugs, everything echoed. It was insanely loud.
Secondly, the wifi was spotty so it was hard watching movies with family at night without constant buffering.
Thirdly, our kids broke out in a rash from the hot tub. Not sure if it was cleaned properly between guests, but it was definitely from bacteria in the hot tub.
When the breaker shorted out during our stay the maintenance employee, Jamie, was fast to our cabin and had an electrician out within an hour. Great service!
The location of the cabin is perfect! Our kids really loved the stay, thank you all.
